I been following the updates of Raven ui on their telegram, but there instructions don't work. i can't get it working on my redmi note 11 pro 5g.
I keep getting a error saying "mount system partition read-only" i tried flashing the encrytion disabler, but won't let me flash that either.
The error says that your system partion is RO (Read-Only) and you have to mount the system partion with adb tool in your pc to RW (Read & Write) but for this root (su) super user access is needed

Please correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can see, Raven UI is only available for the Spes device which is not the 5G model which is called Veux.
Ok be instructed while modifing your android half knowledge is more problematic then no knowledge
I don't think that is available for peux/veux. I used Lineage Recovery to sideload ArrowOS 13 stable without issues. The ROM works smoothly and is almost bug free.

Hi!
I picked up a Mate 8 from a local service provider and would love to flash a new ROM to get rid of the ugly stock one, but I am stuck when trying to flash anything from TWRP.
The phone boots fine, I unlocked the bootloader, and has TWRP Mate 8 version...I can't locate any files from the internal storage though. I understand this is due to the system being encrypted. I cant seem to get around that though. I tried the format data option, hit yes, then go back but that obviously has deleted what I had stored (the SU zip). I can't mount the SD either afterwards, to load it in recovery.
I tried using the Italian knife tool, and used the Root option, and option 3, but get an error: error: cannot load '.\rec\boot.img
I am not a pro on this so it might be something farely stupid. I would love if anyone could help me with this...

Edit:
I was able to solve myself. It was a rookie mistake. Perhaps the internal storage is encrypted, however I was able to flash SU using TWRP by inserting an external SD, which I had not done before. I was able to view contents from that location and did not need to use the Italian knife tool.

Are you using SuperSU ??
To delete system apps, download system app uninstaller from play store and grand it superuser permission.
Here is the short story. I followed the unofficial method of unlocking bootloader. I did that and managed to install twrp then i flashed CM14. However, it proved to be not working (Stuck at CM Logo). I also noticed that in TWRP it has an error which is E: Failed to mount /persist. So yeah, i revert back to MIUI and relock it. I managed to reflash to 7.1.8.0 global beta but the problem is there are so many bugs like No wifi detected and no sim data making it unusable to do any internet plus brightness isn't working.
So, this is the true problem came. I followed Raaj52's instruction and want to flash the latest Fastboot rom Developer (which is 6.7.29 global) but i got stuck with Unspecified error when i follow Raaj's instruction. When i do miflash and flash in EDL mode, it got stuck with Not enough storage is available to continue. Please help me, i have redmi phone just and want to use it again.
In addition, can someone please explain to me about:
1. Why E: Failed to mount /persist in TWRP happens?
2. Why Wifi cant detect any hotspot and sim card has no service at all?
3. Why do i have Unspecified error when flashing in Fastboot mode?
4. Why do i have Not storage is available to continue error in EDL mode?
Thank you and hope someone can help me.
PS: I use Miflash 20151028, Anz Folder, Unlocked Bootloader folder and Fastboot_edl folder as well as fastboot ROM downloaded. I also post similar thread in http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=433772&page=1&extra=#pid8058468 in hoping that someone can help me.
P.S: The Device codename is Kenzo (Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Snapdragon Version) and here is the picture needed for you guys to help me figuring this out.

Hi,
I tried to Root my POC F2 Pro device today, and I got stuck on boot-loop.
After installing TWRP I didn't manage to find the files in the internal storage (Something to do with storage encryption.) so I saw some videos and Change the partition to exFAT and then to EXT4 and from that moment everything went to hell.
I can't do anything and the device is not botting up. When I try do to anything like installing and new Global room/Wipe/Repair - I get this:

Can you enter in fasboot mode?
If yes https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/
DAAMMM WOW man...! I searched for a solution all night and didn't find anything no matter how hard I tried.
In one comment you fixed everything! Really (really) appreciated!
Thanks again!
@NOSS8 Maybe you can help me root my phone...?
After I installed the TWRP, I enter recovery mode and I see 0MB in the 'Internal Storage'.
I have PIN to the phone, but it's not asking me to write it down when I boot to recovery.
What can I do?

Root folder as RO and RW
I don't understand...
This doesn't make a difference since /system cannot mounted as r/w in android versions >= 12.
You need to install the magisk module "debloater" and uninstall your system apps with this.

Even with ADB you can't remove the apps, only disable them.

You can uninstall them. They remain on the Partition but cant Start so if you wipe your data they are back again. You can also Re-install them with adb.
When you disable some Apps will reenable themselves and force Start.
Hey there,
I have a problem with my A52 (SM-A525F/DS): It doesn't boot anymore, as it is stuck in the Download mode, showing the error message: "Reason recovery: Error verifying vbmeta image: invalid vbmeta header (6)"
Steps that lead to this:
LineageOS is installed. After installation of a software update, Magisk lost its root. So I tried to install an alternative recovery (TWRP) with Odin. Odin said "Pass", but now this error message occurs.
What can I do now to make the phone work again? Install the Stock ROM?
Would you please help me with this issue? Thank you so much.

Once again, you need to properly follow all the instructions listed on the thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-official-twrp-3-7-for-galaxy-a52-4g-and-a72-4g.4405751/
Thank you and please excuse my stupidity.
@Simon1511, it worked, thanks again.
As this was inititally my problem: Is there a way to use LineageOS with Magisk and install Updates without losing the root access?

Not automatically. You would have to reflash magisk every time you install an OTA.

Thanks for your answer. I'm curious: Why doesn't it work anymore? It works with older phones like the Samsung A5 2017.

The problem is encryption. On the A5 2017 the Magisk re-install script would run after installing an OTA and would install itself again. But since encryption is enabled by default on newer phones (such as the A52) it doesn't work/behave correctly.
I'm fairly sure though it's an issue with Magisk and not with the ROM.
