[Discussion] Need Help in Unbricking redmi note 3 Snapdragon - General Questions and Answers

Here is the short story. I followed the unofficial method of unlocking bootloader. I did that and managed to install twrp then i flashed CM14. However, it proved to be not working (Stuck at CM Logo). I also noticed that in TWRP it has an error which is E: Failed to mount /persist. So yeah, i revert back to MIUI and relock it. I managed to reflash to 7.1.8.0 global beta but the problem is there are so many bugs like No wifi detected and no sim data making it unusable to do any internet plus brightness isn't working.
So, this is the true problem came. I followed Raaj52's instruction and want to flash the latest Fastboot rom Developer (which is 6.7.29 global) but i got stuck with Unspecified error when i follow Raaj's instruction. When i do miflash and flash in EDL mode, it got stuck with Not enough storage is available to continue. Please help me, i have redmi phone just and want to use it again.
In addition, can someone please explain to me about:
1. Why E: Failed to mount /persist in TWRP happens?
2. Why Wifi cant detect any hotspot and sim card has no service at all?
3. Why do i have Unspecified error when flashing in Fastboot mode?
4. Why do i have Not storage is available to continue error in EDL mode?
Thank you and hope someone can help me.
PS: I use Miflash 20151028, Anz Folder, Unlocked Bootloader folder and Fastboot_edl folder as well as fastboot ROM downloaded. I also post similar thread in http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=433772&page=1&extra=#pid8058468 in hoping that someone can help me.
P.S: The Device codename is Kenzo (Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Snapdragon Version) and here is the picture needed for you guys to help me figuring this out.

Need help for Nexus 7 2013 wifi

Hi everyone,
I bought a NEXUS 7 2013 (ASUS-2B16) a few days ago and I didn't like 5.0 so I started to downgrade by myself.
I followed the instruction of this page (I chose 4.4.2 (KOT49H) rom)
https://www.androidpit.com/how-to-downgrade-a-nexus
When I finished everything (I assumed everything went well because I didn't see any error message) and start to run the system, it stays on this screen

I thought 4.4.2 is not compatible so I flashed with 4.4.4(KTU84P) manually but with no luck.
So I tried Nexus Root Tool Kit see if I could fix it but again with no luck.
I started to do the research and I found this post from XDA
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2380913
The post description shows the same problem that I have so I followed the instruction until the step "FORMAT DATA in TWRP" then I am stuck again. IT shows an error message that the formation is failed.
After everything I gave up and I tried to follow this post to restore my Nexus 7
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2381438
Everything went well but AGAIN I am always stuck at loading page.
I started to look at details and I found some error messages as following.
First I found my Nexus 7 has no OS installed (I am not sure)
Secondly I found the tablet is trying to mount files from E drive but always fail.
I am totally a noob with Tablet but from my experience on Windows system I guess I deleted backup partition by accident. I am hoping this information could help you guys to help me repair my tablet. If you guys need more details please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Sorry, one more thing. When I enter the command "adb devices" at DOS mode I am not able to find the devices. However, when I enter bootloader mode my computer is able to connect to my tablet. Hope this could help. Thanks.
nobody can help ?

my device is sm920A . it is at&t . i cannot find oem unlocker
Possible Solution to Odin "failed" messaged whilst flashing
Warm greetings to all.
I have previously encountered this problem before, ive tried clearing the cache and formatting with still no luck
Eventually I wanted to try something, I loaded my software I wanted to flash on a USB.
I then used an OTG adapter to connect the usb to my phone. I then booted into the recovery ( I have TWRP) and chose install from external storage. To my surprise it worked.
NOTE: I am not sure if this method will work on stock recoveries. Also if you have an external hard drive it works as well
Also note. My S6 is an international version i believe G925F
Wishing you all the best of luck if I was not able to help

Hardbricked - System destroyed!

Hello!
I was disappointed about some missing features in MIUI ( unable to unlock by bluetooth by not Xiaomi devices, no reliable notification LED,.. ) so I decided to flash Android P ( I know, it´s beta, but it´s AOSP ) by using the Xiaomi Flash Tool. I left the button at 'clean and lock', because I don´t wanted to go back in the near future - and this was a big mistake! The tool shown after flashing 'successful', but since then the Mix2s shows 'system destroyed - push power button to switch off' on booting. I get access by fastboot, but the bootloader is now locked....
I´ve tried to get access by deepflash, but the problem is, that if I connect it to USB the phone switches on and shows the mentined message - again and again. I´m not able to switch it off, to get the connection by qualcomm drivers to USB. I tried to push and hold the power button very long, push all buttons together and so on...
Has anyone an advice or can tell me about testpoints of the Mix2s ( if it has? )

When in edl mode, only nop and sig tags can be recevied before authentication.
Thanks!
In this thread, some users speak about test points. There is a photo of it

Edit: Method for Mi Mix 2, maybe this can help you...
http://en.miui.com/thread-1351514-1-1.html
You should send it to customer servt
You can try to contact xiaomi support, they can grant you access to unlock the bootloader without adding an account... However, there were only one or two guys in miui forum who were successful with that, for all the others xiaomi said they can't allow it
What happens when you try to unlock your bootloader? And why cant you unlock it again?
Enter Fastboot and unlock your bootloader again by using xiaomi mi bootloader unlocking tool.
same problem when i've flashed the beta, i had to unlock the bootloader again and the phone boots

Flashing with MiFlash has the status the first line of the bat file

I have the Mi Mix 3 that has the Chinese ROM. I unlocked the bootloader and currently trying to flash the global ROM.
I downloaded the Mi Flash tool and the Global Fastboot ROM, but when I try to flash it, the status is always the first line of the BAT file (see screenshot)

Thanks

Your answer right there. Mismatch device. I believe to go to global, you need to use twrp.

I see. I thought that, since the status was the first line of the ba file, it was not executing it properly.
However, a strange thing happened. After I rebooted the phone and entered again intro fastboot, it worked.
I guess it was some communication error maybe?
Anyway, if you have the same problem, try and do the following (I don't know which one was the actual sollution)
1. Add Android SDK to your environment variables (open a cmd window and enter adb. If it works, it is done properly)
2. Reboot into fastboot without hte phone being connected to the PC. Open MiFlash Tool, connect the device, hit "refresh"
i have the same problem with redmi note 5 pro

J4 (J400M) Could not do normal boot. Invalid Kernel Length

I have a Samsung J400M and since the 23rd of May I am trying to solve the error "Could not do normal boot. Invalid Kernel Length". The device was running Android 9 and this error appeared without any explanation.

I can only access the device's download mode.
OEM and FRP are locked and I cannot unlock and I cannot identify my binary number.
I tested firmwares and several versions (new and old) of Odin, but so far I have not achieved any positive results.
I tried to solve by FWRP, but I was also not successful, because I believe that with OEM blocked, I can't get anything. Right?
The image below is the Odin screen. That was as far as I could go so far.
Can anybody help me?
How can I unlock the OEM on this device without having access to Android? Any other solution?

Unlock the boot loader with fast boot if possible with Samsung phones. If you can flash twrp which I presume you can't, flash RMM bypass zip and hope for the best. Good luck.
