Recovery issue - Stock on boot-loop after patriation changes - Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro) Questions & Ans

Hi,
I tried to Root my POC F2 Pro device today, and I got stuck on boot-loop.
After installing TWRP I didn't manage to find the files in the internal storage (Something to do with storage encryption.) so I saw some videos and Change the partition to exFAT and then to EXT4 and from that moment everything went to hell.
I can't do anything and the device is not botting up. When I try do to anything like installing and new Global room/Wipe/Repair - I get this:
{

}
I saw several posts about it, but nothing works for me. like:

I will appreciate any help that I can get
Thanks,

Can you enter in fasboot mode?
If yes https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/

DAAMMM WOW man...! I searched for a solution all night and didn't find anything no matter how hard I tried.
In one comment you fixed everything! Really (really) appreciated!
Thanks again!

@NOSS8 Maybe you can help me root my phone...?
After I installed the TWRP, I enter recovery mode and I see 0MB in the 'Internal Storage'.
I have PIN to the phone, but it's not asking me to write it down when I boot to recovery.
What can I do?

I manage to do it. I created a new boot image using Magisk and it worked.
Thanks again for the quick reply!

Anybody got the CWM recovery (kk apk recovery) to detect ext. SD card?

Hi all,
I running stock kitkat and have the APK-installed kitkat CWM recovery. the apk from this thread Also in the ( lollipop thread), and I got stuck on recovery, and can't enter download mode. There is a ZIP fix that requires to be flashed from the recovery, but the recovery didn't recognize my external SD card.. So I was wondering if anyone was able to get the recovery to detect an external SD card or USB drive through OTG? and if so, what was the file system and other specs of the sd card?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know what your problem is cause it depends, but for me the only way I was able to communicate with the device was Sideload. regular ADB didn't work (device was unrecognized). if you are suffering from the same problem I had, check out this thread, but sideload the fix.

Wiped my Nexus 5 with TWRP and won´t get to the start screen

Hello guys!
I wanted to wipe my LG Nexus 5 before i could install Cyanogenmod 13, and get Marshmallow ( i was in android 5.1 ).The thing is I went to the TWRP recovery mode, then wipe>advanced wipe>dalvik cache, data, internal storage, cache and then I swipe to wipe. When this process finished i went on reboot>system and it began rebooting. The Google logo came and the little color bubbles showed up. But then IT DIDNT SHOW THE START PAGE. You can still power it off and go to TWRP, but nothing more. Also, my windows pc only recognizes it as 'something' but can't do anything with it.
Have I bricked my device? Or... is there a solution?
Thanks
Lewis
Hello and thank you for using Q/A,
you didn't wiped the system but something must corrupted it. Now I would go to TWRP and enable MTP under the point Mount. Then download CyanogenMod and GApps.
Now wipe system too. Flash and have fun.

Enabling MTP
Could you tell me how to exactly do that? When in TWRP, i hit mount and the thing i can do is select partitions to mount. How do i enable MTP?
Thanks A LOT!

In version 2.6.3.4, there is no Mtp in mount page.
when i get to mount, i get the same options as you, (system,data,cache,persist,firmware,USB-OTG), and to select storage. I am in this older version (v2.6.3.4), is MTP anywhere else?
Thanks again and sorry for taking you time to help me
I don't know but it must be there.
Can you update to 3.0.0.0?
I don't think so. If I can't get to the start page, i can't install the newest version. Can I still flash it? And how?
I recommend updating to the latest version of TWRP and then try.

unable to flash anything in TWRP, SD card wont mount or show contents

Hi!
I picked up a Mate 8 from a local service provider and would love to flash a new ROM to get rid of the ugly stock one, but I am stuck when trying to flash anything from TWRP.
The phone boots fine, I unlocked the bootloader, and has TWRP Mate 8 version...I can't locate any files from the internal storage though. I understand this is due to the system being encrypted. I cant seem to get around that though. I tried the format data option, hit yes, then go back but that obviously has deleted what I had stored (the SU zip). I can't mount the SD either afterwards, to load it in recovery.
I tried using the Italian knife tool, and used the Root option, and option 3, but get an error: error: cannot load '.\rec\boot.img
I am not a pro on this so it might be something farely stupid. I would love if anyone could help me with this...

}
--------------------------------
Edit:
I was able to solve myself. It was a rookie mistake. Perhaps the internal storage is encrypted, however I was able to flash SU using TWRP by inserting an external SD, which I had not done before. I was able to view contents from that location and did not need to use the Italian knife tool.

To delete system apps, download system app uninstaller from play store and grand it superuser permission.

Oh come on, you know what it is - don't try to fool me!
In case you're serious, though...
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.
It allows you to back up and restore your data, flash custom ROMs to your device, repair broken file systems, and root your device.
Download:
See " Attached Files"
Install:
Download zip file from above
Unzip the file
Download and install SP Flash Tools
Run SP Flash Tools and load scatter (Use the 'Modded' scatter if you want to install this recovery on a enlarged system partition.)
Press first the 'Download' button, before you connect the device with your pc
Reboot device
Remarks:
It is not possible to boot into recovery by holding some specific keys. You need to use ADB with the command: "adb reboot recovery".

it's really weird, I've succesfully flashed 920F (International) without any problem multiple times. I can flash stock rom so it's not hardware's fault. Am i missing some simple newbie step?

my device is sm920A . it is at&t . i cannot find oem unlocker
Possible Solution to Odin "failed" messaged whilst flashing
Warm greetings to all.
I have previously encountered this problem before, ive tried clearing the cache and formatting with still no luck
Eventually I wanted to try something, I loaded my software I wanted to flash on a USB.
I then used an OTG adapter to connect the usb to my phone. I then booted into the recovery ( I have TWRP) and chose install from external storage. To my surprise it worked.
NOTE: I am not sure if this method will work on stock recoveries. Also if you have an external hard drive it works as well
Also note. My S6 is an international version i believe G925F
Wishing you all the best of luck if I was not able to help
