HI. I cant find solution for this button. I need change to another function when I press Google Assistant button. Then I click the wi-fi is turn on and turn off.

I have installed s2u2 on my polaris and now I want to remove the button lock when powered off but it doesnt work. I still have to press the power button even though I have it so that no buttons are locked. has anyone else found this issue or a solution?

I'm not sure how it's called in english rom, but in the settings system tab you should have somthing like "key lock" or somthing like that, there you can set optio to not to block keys when device is suspended
Thats what I have tried. It doesnt matter what option I set this to it always does the same thing; I always have to use the power button to wake up the device.
Is nobody else having a problem with this? Let me give a clearer explanation of the problem. I have set "Do not lock buttons" in Settings->KeyLock yet when my device is on standby the only way to wake it up is to press the power button. I would like to be able to press any button to get it awake. How can I do this?

My Polaris does not behave like this. I have set the Key Lock to "Lock Buttons if Device is locked". And now I can wake the Polaris with any buttons as long as it was not locked before going to standby.
I have the same problem, but it is with my AT&T Tilt w/Q-Mobile rom.
If anyone cares at this point, reinstalling the rom fixed this problem for me.
I have no issue to this option. I used to select not to lock button but I turn on my phone by tapping the camera button accidentally when I put back my phone into the belt clip. Therefore I stop choosing this option and lock all button except the power button to turn on my phone.
Does any know how to make the screen turn on pressing the round button? During a call getting quick access is a pain having to press the power button.
No solution yet but it would be great....

Hi. My HTC blackstone has a problem in power button. This way i mapped the answer call button long press to turn off screen. However, that doesnt solve my problem.
This way i want to find a screen toggle so i can map it to long press so it turns screen on and off, or alternately find a screen on to map ti to end call key.

Yesterday I was remapping and customizing my first Samsung device. I don't know what I did either on Good Lock or on the settings or anywhere else, but somehow I set my side key to flashlight when holding down the side key button. I remember changing side key button to Power off menu. Please help, this is driving me nuts . Thank you in advance.

Look for "Double Press" using the settings search tool,it'll take you right to it & turn it off.

Hi thank you for your response. My Double Press is currently set to Quick launch camera, I'm good with this. But the Press and hold is set to Power off menu, but instead it turns on the flashlight,

I was just getting ready to suggest going into the Bixby settings, as I didn't find anything in any of the GoodLock modules that I have installed.
I currently have Bixby disabled by a desktop client (ADB AppControl), otherwise, that would have been my next move.
Glad you got that resolved.
Cant seem to find the setting anymore to press and hold the home button for the assistant.
Now I need to do that with the power button. Not sure if it was removed or changed, but I cant find it.

It's on by default on mine. Settings > System > Gestures > Press and hold power button.
Sorry I meant to say that I liked being able to press and hold the home button, but it seems this feature was removed?
Seeing how there is no home button anymore and Google is only focused on supporting gesture navigation, that sounds about right.

It's right there in System>gestures>System navigation>Gear icon next to 3 button navigation> Toggle hold home for assistant.
Thank you! I thought it was gone because the setting didnt transfer and couldnt find it.
I am not a fan of the gesture navigation
