I flashed my Xperia T (LT30P) today to a firmware version of ICS 4.0.4 after updating software the other day (5/31) to jellybean 4.1.2 Now, my phone isn't picking up data nor showing up as 4G LTE. The firmware I used was 7.0.A.1.303 Vodafone. I have tried a factory restore with no success. I live in America and the firmware was UK if that makes a difference. I visited at&t today to resolve the issue. They told me that the network is functioning fine and tried my sim card in a different phone, which worked fine. So, is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance for helping.
It does make a difference if you used UK firmware on an American phone. Since the UK communicates on a different frequency than the US, the two are not compatible. The only option would most likely be to reflash your phone using a different ROM, or flash it back to stock.
HI,
Ive done a search and cant find many specifics.
I'm looking for stock firmware for three UK for a E6633. I've downloaded flashtool and read that it can automatically download for you but I cant figure out how. Also I have got XperiFirm and there isn't any three firmware for E6633 although there is for the E6653.
Can anyone help me where to get the current three firmware for E6633 or can i flash the E6653?
Currently have generic E6633 firmware 32.3.A.0.376 but would like network specific.
Phone is currently unrooted and locked bootloader.
Hi.
My Xperia Z3V (D6708) has a problem to get a network signal.
Originally it works with SIM card but after i flash using a Flashtool with lower version, it does not gone with normal process.
Right after flashing ROM file, it does not process in the fota blah file so i tried to install ROM file with upgraded Flashtool and flashed successfully.
All Rom files copied to my phone normally but i can not attach my phone to network with a NETWORK ACCESS RESTRICTED sign. This sign always turns on notifications. Flashed other version of original rom files but i can see the signs with no network signal. Any different roms have same problem.
SIM card works with other phone and IMEI numbers are all alright.
I think this problem definitely comes from Flashtool with lower version.
How can i solve this problem? If i need i can use QPST, QXDM for changing NV values.
Is this will be ok?, because Xperia 5 have 128GB and AU version have 64GB.
anyone have tried it?
Please don't flash if yours is a different model as it may break your phone. Only of the same specs model.

when I hear the word AU,I think that you are from indonesia tercinta merdekalah katanya
Huh. Please don't attempt to do it. My Xperia 5 bricked after doing it. And since the phone had some USB issues, getting into flash mode again was very difficult and consumed around 2 hours fiddling with the volume keys. Because the red light just blinks every 2 seconds or so. No green light after connecting USB while pressing volume down. Finally when I got it in flash mode, flashed the SOV41 AU version which brought the device back to life.
No harm in trying it (in my experience). Just give it a try and if it (bricks) doesn't boot, force shut it down, put it in flash mode, and reflash the original ROM with NewFlasher, (Don't use FlashTool) and boom, back to working again.
Edit: why have I just replied to an almost 3 year old thread at 00:53 in the morning... Good damn it lol.
ROMs that I tried but failed :
SO-01M NTT DOCOMO JP - Signature error, not even flashed.
J8210 Customized UK - Bricked
901SO SoftBank JP - Bricked
All I was trying for to use 4G network as Jio Sim works only in 4G. Even though a toggle was available in the AU version to enable 4G, it didn't worked. It can't even connect to network by manually selecting. And 4636 method don't work.

Replace AU oem files with attached files. Flash with new flasher. Probably no AU messaging app after flash. so you need to install either google messages or use attached au original message app apk.

Great. It worked. Also bloatware removed. More like a Global ROM with VoLTE.
i tried to flash global firmwares on my xperia 5ii softbank, but there is not network. Tried flashing AOSP roms, still no network. Anyway to get out of this japanese rom. I tried replacing the OEM files, still no luck.

Does it works?
I am using Linux Ubuntu 20 LTS to flash my Sony Xperia 5 II with FlashTool and Xperifirm. When I run the FlashTool program and click the "Xperifirm" icon, nothing happens. It is supposed to launch the Xperifirm program. Anyone know what could be causing this problem?
Do the files in the FlashTool directory need to be within the same directory as the Xperifirm executable?
My goal: To switch my phone from international region firmware to the US region (as I am in the US) so my LTE can work again.
I currently have the International version of the Sony Xperia 5 II and no longer have LTE on my phone with AT&T. They told me I need the firmware for the US version of the Sony Xperia 5 II. Any help or advice is welcome.
