1) It has not a very good battery or SOT. It charged really quick. But drains too much.
2) After latest Security Update my phone just shut down automatically & didn't open for a while. Even another Poco F4 GT in my house also had the same problem.
3) It has a great Speaker. But wasn't that loud in the earphones. So, i have to change the region now earphone volume is loud & good. But the speaker sound now is not that loud.
Thanks in Advance...

Hi, all the phones with this level of charge have the battery time problem, if you charge faster you can get a faster discharge.
in my opinion, try a regular charger...
Remember all the phones learn your charge habits to help.
I can recomend to you use de xiaomi. eu rom sometimes have best performance.

Questions before buying

Hi everyone, I'm playing with the thought of buying this phone, bit there are two questions that I want to ask before:
1) Battery life, I've read that the battery of XA discharges very fast, but appearently sony released an update, which solved this problem? Is it true?
2)Speakers/Microphone. I've read that they aren't very loud, could someone who has this phone say something about that? I'm soneone who sends a lot of voice messages via WhatsApp. Will my voice be clearly and loudly recorded?
Thanks in advance
Same me. For now potential low battery life is stopping me from buying it. I hate charging phone everyday and I dont believe it will last up to 2 days considering comments I've read. In my case 2 days mean usually 4 h SOT on LTE (Opera though). Will this phone achieve that? Lets say stamina is on and screen brightness at 30%. I'm not using facebook app nor messenger nor insta... Nothing that could drain battery in background. Just Opera, YT and some music. Any opinions if that phone would last 2 days?
I don't have any problem ... battery its ok for me now ,, Screen TIme Always 4-5h its enough !
Same here, about 4h on screen time. But obviously this phone anyway need to be charged everyday. Speaker is pretty loud when u will use ClearAudio+. Havent any problems with microphone so far, friends saying my voice sounds a lot better than on previous phone (T3) so I think You also should be fine with that

3.5-5hrs screen time depending on where I am and what I'm doing at the time. If you aren't a big mobile gamer the battery life is more than adequate the volume level from the speaker is plenty loud enough for a single speaker and in a different league to the old m2. I have no regrets at all about getting one and have never had to charge it more than once a day/night

NXT-L29 battery issue

Hello guys,
I would like to share the issue that recently appeared on my mate 8 (NXT-L29). All was perfect, the phone was really what I looked for. But since something like two weeks, it looks like the battery lost autonomy, and I do't know why, when the phone hits the 50% battery left (not 51%, not 49%, 50%), it sudently cuts off and no reboot is possible, the phone (not android, the phone when it is off) displays that it has no battery (0%).. I lose 50% battery in just.. 1 second! It's really annoying, especially as I used to use it quite intensively, to play, listen to music, surf the web.. so I have the unpleasant feeling of still not being able to benefit from half the capacity of my phone, while I know it is a big battery.
I'm really cautious with my phone, I always let it charge to the maximum before unplug it from the charger and I rarely let it go below the 10%..
I specify that my phone is originally the AL10 version of the mate 8, but I have changed it to the L29 version and all was working properely.
Does anyone can help me please?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad english, i'm french

Fast battery drain on the Mi5s occurs when the fingerprint reader is active. Disable it by removing any fingerprints registered in the security setup (in other words, don't use your fingerprint reader option) and reboot. You will notice the phone runs much cooler and the battery lasts much much longer. To permanently resolve the issue and regain use of the fingerprint reader, you must root the phone or find some other way of disabling com.qualcomm.qti.biometric.fingerprint.service.
Until about four days ago, I would never consider taking my Mi5s out of the house because it was useless unless I wanted to drag a power bank with me. A comment by someone got me motivated to dig into this issue and I found other people at xiaomi.eu reporting the basics as I've stated above. Yesterday I removed fingerprints, fully charged the phone and today I have 50% battery left and a cool running phone. Normally, it would be less than 20 % after sitting idle overnight. I've asked Xiaomi to consider an app with root permission to fix this. I am not holding my breath.
Im on custom rom everyday i get around 12-15 hours continue backup excessive usage with wifi and gps on. And even vpn is on because im in china so need vpn for google, facebook and youtube.
Look this I havent locked my phone since 2 hours and battery is still 83 %

Battery life has been bad for many years now...

Hi,
So, I have been getting really bad battery life for many years now...
Since I got my first OP phone the OP6 I have had this issue.
So first I thought my op6 was faulty, so lately I got myself an op7 pro. But still, on that phone also battery issues.
After that I traded my op7 pro for an s10+, but later I wanted to get back to oneplus so I traded it again for another oneplus 7 pro.
And here I am still with bad battery life.. And with bad battery life I mean like days with 3 hours SOT and like 20% left. To days with 4 hours and like 20%.
But nothing better than that, ofcourse I tried things myself, so I went to oneplus discord server and asked there. Many people tried to help me. We tried custom roms, custom kernels, battery apps like greenify or doze apps. But nothing works, what we did notice tho, that google play services is on the top almost all times. So I tried a day with only whatsapp, but still google play services drain.
If anyone know tips to extend battery life, or setups like XXX Rom or magisk module with XXX kernel. Let me know, anything is possible.
Kind regards,
Crewz
Hey man, I had similar problems with most of my devices, I traded s10+ for op7pro because of that same battery problem. Now it is not as great as other people experience, since I have read that lots of guys go over 9h sot with similar usage as mine... But I am around 6:30 -7:30 sot per 36-48h usage.(on qhd and 90hz)
Since you have tried most of the stuff... I have copluple of suggestions, it looks that problem may be with your network(frequency)/sim or baseband, had on exynos such problem... I would do like whole wipe wit msm tool end downgrade to Android 9, stay day or two and check your battery( you can always upgrade) then try to change an operator if you have other sim, once I had to buy new sim car, because mine was obsolete... See if there are differences without sim card, change sim slot...
One of the last recourses is trying to see if you can install other, change modem/baseband.. I have no idea for op7 pro... Also region settings may have an impact... Eu or non eu rom and so...
One thing that made noticable difference for me is I red somewhere that Hyperion launcher is better for battery and it is... I got better idle with it... Try it.. and best luck

Hey,
So first of all, thank you for the reply and sorry for the late reaction.
I have done a full wipe with MSM before, but I never did go back to Android 9. I need to say tho that I have had bad battery life on that aswell.
It is maybe a good idea to use without sim, but I really need my sim for calls etc. The range is from 4 to 5 bars, so that should be fine I guess.
I am not experienced at all with changing modem / baseband. If anyone here on XDA can help me with that and explain what it actually does, I would appreciate that.
I will give hyperion launcher a go, thanks!
Solution is very simple, do not use warp charge without necessarily exlusions. Use simple charger 2.4 Amper
Just an idea. If this is happening with multiple phones, it might be the quality of signal you're getting from the towers around you. The harder your phone has to work to find signal, the more the battery is going to drain.

Hello. Why you think so? Quick charging just supplies the charging mechanism for the battery with more power, it doesn't change the way the battery itself works or how the power is stored in the cells. It also doesn't change the way the power discharges from the battery.

doesnt make a difference, you can use warp charge without problems. He just gets the bad battery life from his apps, which are syncing all time in the background.

There's a Magisk Module called universal GMS doze. It might help you out with different wakelocks. Also download fk kernel manager he got a couple apps in his battery info area that controls services an wakelocks and also it'll tell idle drain stats. Also in dev options there's a mobile data always on you can unclick that if still nothing helps I'd try turning your mobile data off an see if that's what's draining you

Question Pixel Experience on the POCO X3 PRO

Good Evening forum members, I have a problem with installing pixel experince on my poco x3 pro phone. The thing is that my 5120 mah battery was enough for 1.5 days of normal use, but when I installed pixel experience out of 100% battery 21% goes to mobile network, this is the biggest figure, even screen goes about 15%, with mobile network usage per day was 6h 10m and screen usage 1h 44m. Please help me solve my problem because now my phone barely lasts half a day.

I installed latest pixel experience 13 plus edition rom on my device poco x3 pro, but the installation I noticed that the charging speed is very very slow as compared to the original charging speed that I was getting on miui. What should do to solve this issue? I am using the original 33W charger and cable.

Say thank you, cause fast charging is one of the best battery killer
Bro the charging input is just 720mA, where it can support upto 4000mA

I have the same problem. Battery barely lasts half a day. On PE13 and previously on Paranoid Android 13 too. People on Evolution X 13 seem to complain about the same issue. I wonder what's happening and how can we solve it.
can anyone give me pixel experience poco x3 pro android 11 official build.
Yeah... Never had any similar issue on ArrowOS.
I think my battery life is pretty decent.
But I do update firmware every now and then.
