this is development, not a question or problem. it's technically a question, but it's asking about development and there is actual development going on here...

My internet and power supply is very limited. I want offline access to Open Source Android projects for studying them.
I plan to make a script in Python to mass download Github projects for Android platform.
The first point is what "dork or search term" to use when search searching for Android projects?
Then what would be the best way to download from Github.
I'm thinking of downloading master.zip instead of git clone for easy file management.

development help is needed for the Android 12 migration, if people have experience working with AOSP or Android app development
there's currently a serious issue involved dexpreopt that needs to be resolved in order to continue work on the migration to Android 12
we expected to have more developers working on the migration than we do

In reply to someone asking what the issue is:
there are multiple issues, it's fairly obviously broken atm after being built
we need help with figuring out what's wrong and resolving it or the migration can't continue

Further:
continued support for any of the currently supported devices depends on the Android 12 migration
Android 11 GrapheneOS won't have any further releases and isn't actively developed anymore
we've done a lot of work on the Android 12 migration already but most is still remaining and some serious problems have come up blocking any progress

I have managed to pull the needed files for development of this device. This includes the full rip and the created vendor/motorola/minsk files. I hope this helps some of you to get developement rolling on this device. I am attempting to build LineageOS as I type this. They can be found here:

I've changed the prefix of your thread from "Development" to "General" as the thread didn't qualify for the first one. Please refer and read the guidance that is stuck at the top of the forum prior to your next post and do not change the prefix back. Thanks for your cooperation.

Are you using pre-built generic GSIs or are you attempting to build from scratch? I have not ever attempted to use a GSI on any phone I have owned.
Apparently my device tree is invalid. The odd thing is, the vendor tree created by the extract-files.sh from it seems to be fine. Is anyone here reading capable of providing some assistance with this? I am nearly at wits end, spending hours of reading and doing, but spinning my wheels. Any help would be appreciated. I am going to keep trying until after the new year. If still no progress, I am going to sell this phone and get a Mi 11 Lite.
Well, I don't have any appreciable skill myself to help out, but yeah, I appreciate your efforts, and hope you figure it out. There's seemingly little activity around development for this device at the moment, but I am sure many people are looking on in silence waiting for some options to emerge. Anyway, good luck with the efforts--even though you might not see a lot of chatter, lots of folks are cheering you on!

Not good. I never got it to build. I have not had time since December to get back to it. Been too busy with other projects.
Hey,
Every time I try to run a "breakfast" command for this codename "j3popelteatt", it can't find it's configuration & kernel.
Is anyone available to assist?
