Hi, i'm looking for java eclipse developers. I've been working on this app for a little while and i dont have all the time which is needed. I'm also looking for a developer who can develop within PHP/MySql and HTML. I already released a early beta of Fireplace Marked over at here. Please go check it out. this is development, not a question or problem. it's technically a question, but it's asking about development and there is actual development going on here...

Is it possible to port MIUI to the sidekick as well as keep the sidekick unique features such as the custom texting apps (group texting, cloud texting, sidekick message apk) and possibly add the sidekick unique social networking notification updater?

Anyways.. we would need a working gingerbreak leak from samsung to get a functional gingerbread ROM. And we can't Run any AOSP ROMs unless someone ports it . And its not easy. But in he future if you have a question don't post It in the development section.

This. I'm currently downloading the CM source, I'm going to see if I can get it running. I doubt it.

Maybe because its a question about the development of the device and more people check the development section.

Hope you do... if not why don't you try the froyo version till we get gingerbread on our sidekicks to help the development

for questions, the general and Q&A section would be the proper place.. if every question about development is posted in the DEV section we'd see more questions then threads containing actual development. which is actually happening to our SK4G forums now

Hi! I started Programming in Android in August last year and haven't launched any app as of yet, my friend [email protected] (a senior member of this forum) told me about this site and said I can discuss programming related queries here, but I can't find any such section...:-(

I tried that but ddnt get reply to the two questions that I posted:-

Hey Guys i was wondering if some Dev's could help me get started on building my own roms or give me some pointers as to where i should start. I want to make roms to support us Australians as i don't see many going around.

i got the British retail version. dont know if that makes a difference of not. hope this is what you need

i had link 3 different build.prop in FAQ (FR retail, FR SFR, DE retail)

How about searching instead of opening your 23rd new thread all about very basic questions which you can find the answers for yourself if you bother to search and read a little?

I am sorry for creating so many threads, unfortunately I don't always get time to search for things, when I do I either find what I'm looking for and it's not very helpful at all or I don't find anything, I ask questions on xda because it's more helpful then finding something through search. I have found something's about this question I asked, but there not very helpful and the download links don't work, and also the thread I found had been closed. Helpful tips on posting and obviously phone related are very welcome. Sorry for creating so many threads and I do my best.

U might wanna bookmark certain pages like the Help Thread page #1 - #3 and also our very own, well organized INDEX Thread. These users took the time to furnish those thread to ease searching, best to utilize them so as their effort will not go in vain.

ps: stock rom is v4.0.4 sense 3.6
Thank you comes quite useful, but the one I've found uses a lot of ram still. I will try and keep looking around when I have enough time.
