Recover data of frozen Samsung Galaxy A51 SM-A515F - Samsung Galaxy A51 Questions & Answers

Hello,
my friends Samsung Galaxy A51 crashed while using it, opening a google docs link she received via WhatsApp.
Restarting the phone will only show Samsung logo, then Samsung Galaxy A51 logo and then dead again. No boot loop.
In the morning the wake up alarm set in the phone plays its chimes but display remains black.
Rebooting phone with holding volume down doesn't work.
The phone is not rooted or flashed.
I can enter Recovery mode. Tried to restart system. Tried to delete cache. Tried to repair apps. None of this changed anything.
I can connect via adb but only in Sideload mode. Hoped to unsintall Samsung Browser as this might be a damaged app. But I don't have permission because USB debugging is not toggled. I tried adb restart and adb restart recovery. Phone will no restart to Android. Restarting to recovery works but doesn't solve the problem.
I can bring the phone to Download mode. Btw. none of the tutorials helped to do this. At some point I double-tapped the power button and was surprised to get into Download mode. I wanted to flash TWRP recovery to the phone to get more options to backup and recovery. Unfortunatley the OEM protection did not allow me to flash TWRP recovery.
My friend is from Ukraine and has her Ukrainian banking app registered with this phone and currently no other possibility to access her bank account. Also she has a lot of data like contacts, messages, photos and videos only on this phone. So we can not do a factory reset.
Do you have any other ideas for troubleshooting?
Do you have any ideas how to remove OEM protection without access to OS so I can at least flash TWRP and do a backup?
Do you have any other idea how I could backup the phone?

Unfortunately I still have not been successful to get the phone working again or to backup or read any data.
Just to add another information: I drained the battery to 0% so the phone was totally dead. I was not optimistic that this full power off might help any more than the restarts I did so far. But running out of ideas. It didn't help or change anything.
I'm afraid only a factory reset could at least repair the phone :-(

Without OEM-Unlocking and USB-Debugging you will not be able to install TWRP and if so then all data would be gone automatically anyway, as this is equivalent to a factory reset.
The only way would be to download the STOCK-ROM with "Frija" (quick and free) and flash it with "Odin". Of course, the mobile phone is then virgin and has to be set up again from the beginning. A Google login restores a lot of data. Setting up the banking app again (username & password, etc.) shouldn't be a problem either.
Of course you can also try a factory reset first, but setting up a completely new one is not avoided here either.
Much luck!

Samsung Unusual Between Boot loop and Softbrick? Data recovery.

Hey guys,
Is data recovery possible after a flash? Also, what is wrong? I have searched but no answer directly hits on this. I am not a tech guy- Biology- sorry for that ahead. To the issue, I dlowded a software update to my Galaxy s3.....and boom froze on Samsung screen. I can turn phone off and on. It would not boot past Samsung. So I went into cache partrition, and tried a system reboot- cannot. So then I seen a program that supposively recovers data after factory reset if you do nothing else to the phone. However, problem I hit te dreaded factory reset- nothing. Over a software update? My computer is not recognizing the device. So I went to Samsung, they tried installing software, however, the computers were recognizing, but not connecting. One tech said they did not have flash- I went back again, the othertech said they did. Anywho, after 4 days, I forked my phone over to a repair guy. He I believe tried Odin- as it currently sits in odin mode. Now it was getting into download mode- but ow I have this message- " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." A samsung guy mentioned it might be able to be flashed, as my concern data- not backed up. This info is pretty important, as I have several contacts and mssgs. The two modes my phone can go into: Odin and recovery. I could really use the help, on both saving data, and getting the phone to fire- as it might be able to- but data?
Thanks in advance.

Stock S6 stuck on Samsung logo after enabling UPSM; Data recovery?

Hi all,
I have a standard s6 with stock EE (UK) firmware 6.0.1 installed (non rooted) . The other day I put it in UPSM mode. But soon after, the phone just restarted and now just gets stuck on the Samsung logo screen. If left long enough, the phone vibrates once.
I can get in to both recovery and 'download' mode. Tried wipe cache and flashing the same firmware using odin. Odin goes through successfully but the device still gets stuck at the same place.
The main thing is that I need to get the data off the phone. Any ideas how I can do this,( I don't think USB debugging or developer mode were/are enabled) ? Or indeed remedy the boot loop?
Thanks
Any advice on this folks?
If anyone knows of a way I can recover the data at least, whilst the phone is in this state, would be appreciated. The only thing I have not tried yet is a factory reset from recovery (because of data loss). If I am able to recover the data and then a factory reset fails, I am still under warranty so that should not be an issue.
Thanks in advanced.

My samsung j2 prime (sm-g532g/ds) will no longer turn on

Good afternoon or whatever time you have there, greetings. So here's the situation: I've been trying to root my Samsung J2 Prime, about two days ago, using KingRoot, KingoRoot, and FramaRoot, but to no avail, they did not work. So, becoming desperate, I ventured to the dangerous thing I regret doing: flashing its firmware. So I've attempted to root it with Odin, and then it said "To start up your device, enter your password." And I was dazed, I don't have a password! And if it really had a password before, I don't know! Moving on, I've not attempted to wipe its data, knowing the files in it. So, I tried to recover it on Odin by opening download mode, the FRP Lock is on, so unfortunately most of my ventures are unsuccessful. Then, after entering an incorrect password (on the home screen something of the "To start up your device..." screen), it proceeded to wipe factory data, which then prompted my phone to have a bootloop, however I could still access download mode, but not recovery mode. Then, when I've somehow managed to access recovery mode through root boot on Odin, I've wiped my factory data and the cache partition. Then, after a few attempts, I used some firmware I've downloaded and it said it worked for me so I was at first. But when I checked my phone, it would no longer turn on! As in it wouldn't boot at all, even remotely. The charging screen won't even appear. I'm going crazy. I've tried to remove the battery then return it, to no avail it won't work. I really don't think it's a battery issue. Can anyone help?
(Btw, I've been following random YouTube videos whose links I've not saved, and some random pages. Also, I'm not sure with my carrier, but I'm more confident that it's Globe.)
Are you install stock rom to your device through odin?

[PDP] setup fail making it difficult to hard reset my Samsung phone

So recently I tried completely wiping my cache from the recovery mode, but when I restarted the phone and held the power and volume up buttons, instead of entering recovery mode the phone just vibrated and booted normally. It then showed this message.
[PDP] Back-up : fail setup-wizard [ FINISH ]
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this ? I've already tried several times.

i think if you need a rooted phone just install lineageos is much faster and debloated than stock, i change my stock today to lineage and is amazing
when you change to lineageos install auroraoss store amazing app like google store
you can root lineageos so easy in recovery twrp install magisk zip thats all no problems at all
IF you want more options to play jest follow these post

That message what you have i magisk recovery script.
Magisk is installed on recovery partition and when you hold that button when phone power on magisk installing to the phone thats why vibrate
If you wanna go to recovery mode just hold same button combo before phone start logo shows and keep long as possible and you must have connected usb cable to the pc if you press button combo when logo is already on the phone then magisk start installing and thats why its vibrate
When you will hard reset i think you gonna lose magisk and root.
That message what you have should say "backup success" i think magisk is broken and for me is not working too

Do you fix this?
I have had that same issue. Unfortunately my partner's phone had a keylock on ii so these are the problems I had to face.
Draw the pattern several times but it never gave me the option to 'use a google account' so it carried on until I had to wait 65 minutes before drawing another pattern. Still no google account option.
I'd swipe down, select the wifi to get it to connect and it wouldn't let me look for my wifi to put a code in.
After a search, it gave me some software that I can download off Tenorshare so I downloaded it and tried which put me to the next problem, I couldn't get into the root menu to factory reset the phone and the phone wouldn't allow me to get into the diagnostic screen when I type on the *#09#*, I think the code is but you can get in via clicking the emergency call option. I'd volume up and power, it buzzed twice and still continued to the main samsung screen. The software from Tenorshare couldn't do much with it ie remove the google account but here's what else I did. I remembered that I used to upgrade firmware on samsung mobile phones via this website so I downloaded the Odin software, found the correct firmware from sammobile.com and that came up with something surprising. As much as I couldn't get into the root menu, I just believe that it's missing or corrupted,
so I connected the phone to the PC using the USB,
fired up Odin, Odin didn't show anything in the log but it after restarting the phone and pressing volume up and power, it buzzed twice and it went into a blue download screen and sat there. I thought, heyyyy this screen is usable.
The download for the firmware was complete and I unzipped it to it's 5 components, USERDATA, BL, AL and two others,
I had put the seperate files into the Odin software and clicked the start button. It uploaded the firmware successfully and restarted the phone so I did the volume up and power (I think I did it or the phone went into the root menu itself).
From there, I factory reset the phone, rebooted and it still asked for the draw pattern but I could set up the wifi, so since I was doing this late, I couldn't be bothered to phone the partner up to get all the email, questions etc.
So I rebooted the phone, went into the root and cleared the cache; this didn't really help at all because the draw pattern came up and when I used my gmail account; the phone wouldn't change the owner.
So I went back to the Tenorshare software and used the google account removal option and that worked;
The is completely clean and I can give it back to her, I did some google updates, galaxy store updates and it works fine. So just need to give it back.

Update 11.1.1.1 installed successfully on OP 6T but is stuck in loading

Hello,
Anyone else having problems after this update? I did it now and my phone does not start anymore. Or at least it hangs in the loading screen with the red and 2 white dots.
I shut it down with power and vol + twice but with no effect. It does not react on the power cable being inserted. When it's powered off and I insert the cable it starts to the loading screen, currently showing 14 %.
How to solve this?
Thank you!
I can boot into recovery or fastboot. Not sure how helpful that is though.
try to format data if you're able to go to recovery. as long you have recovery and fastboot intact, it's basically not ****ed up yet

But how can I save my data? I mean when I'm in recovery I have to enter the password before, so the data gets decrypted. But with USB attached I can only see 5 files on my desktop computer.
I emptied the battery and loaded it fully, then restarted. After a long time it say "This device has entered an unstable state. Please try rebooting your device using the exit button below..." and so on.
I hope a data recovery company isn't the only solution.
Also, is there no way to repair it? Like running the update again or something?
Why is there no „apply update from adb“ option in the recovery menu of OnePlus? Apparently I could have used that to backup all my data from the phone.
I tried wiping the cache partition without success so far.
So did Android squeeze security so much that not even the owner can save his data in this status now anymore? A bit sad when they themself break the phone with an update then.
What about these recovery services that also recover data from harddrives? Do they break the phone when they do their thing?
