Hi all,
I recently tried changing the wallpaper on my phone from a live background to regular image. The background went black and the phone froze.
I removed the battery and restarted the phone but it now often freezes on the LG logo. When it does occasionally start up the touch screen will not respond so I cannot get past my lock pattern. If I press the stand by button at the top of the phone, the screen goes off and cannot be turned on again, but the phone is still running - as I can tell this when connected to the computer.
I don't have my phone rooted and do not know much about that. I was hoping there was a way to fix this without having to lose all of my data or root/mod my phone. Otherwise I would be happy just to have my phone working.
Can anyone please help with this problem or tell me why the touch screen will not respond the times it does start up?

UPDATE - I started the phone holding the volume button down and went into the recovery mode. I'm not sure exactly which option I then selected, as I hit the home key a couple of times, but I think it was "Clear cache and recovery" or something similar.
The phone managed to start back up with all my apps and photos, etc. Although I had to go through the startup wizard again and sign into the Market, LG World, etc.
Now I have a problem with quite a few of my apps. Whenever I click on them, they start very briefly and then I get the message "The application had stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and have to force close. This happens with apps such as Adobe Reader, GTA 3 and Viber, so it's not a specific type of app.
I also noticed with the few apps that work, data is missing from some and not others. For example, I still have high scores in one game, but not in another.
Does anyone know what the problem is here or why this recovery is maybe causing this?

Still haven't fixed this problem if anyone could please help. Most of the apps before the recovery still force close upon starting.
Some of these can be fixed temporarily by moving to phone/SD depending on location, but this only lasts for so long, before I have to move again. Others will open up each time as though it's the first opening of the app, e.g. Do you accept....
Apps downloaded after the recovery seem to work fine.
Any suggestions people?
Hello, I've been running MOAR 6.1 for few days and since yesturday when i tried to shut the screen to off mode the screen won't close and the power off reboot screen appears, it also turns on and off few times on it's own and it interrups with the popup of power off reboot screen continously, i thought maybe it was the rom so i changed to different rom but it wasn't the rom. i'm kinda puzzled and i just can't get this problem solved. anyone with similar issues or someone who knows what this issue is please help.. it's driving me crazy everytime i try to use the phone.
Hello I have a problem and I hope you can help me I have a motorcycle 3 turbo and I had it working with a custom rom and I had it with the screen loose but it was good, then I do not know how the screen moved and I wanted to accommodate it and suddenly I raised and lowered the intensity of brightness until in the main picture you could see at the same time the applications drawer looked like a ghost on the screen and suddenly it turned off I wanted to turn it on and nothing that turned on when I wanted to turn on it was very hot I took it with a technician and said that it was the screen that fixed the image but the cell was restarted every minute I wanted to enter the recovery but it was black screen and it would not let me enter the recovery and install the official stock rom and follow the reboots, now install a custom rom and I have to have an active application in the background to block the screen does not restart the cell phone because if I do not have an activated application the cell phone goes back to reboot someone could I help you how to resove it please? thank you for your attention
Idk how this happened..but for sure after the final update of android 11, While I was playing COD Mobile .. suddenly It sounded Like it's gonna blow for 10-15 seconds Continuously and then turned off automatically..and from then It's not Booting correctly..Sometimes After Pressing rapidly.its booting and also I could until next switching off..then again I have to do the same..I can understand the Bootloader got some problems unfortunately..and most of the time it shows "Waiting For Flashing Fulll Ramdump" with some Coding type of texts all over the phone...idk what happened.. some times it can be switched on and sometimes I have to Power on Rapidly but still It shows This problems or after turning on the display tears up & automatically turn off after that .....I need help to fix it..

the touch of my Huawei p40 often freezes (quite often) z.b. Do not touch at 2 seconds then the touch somehow freezes or can't be used until I turn the display on and on the touch reacts again I was with an expert who told me that I should leave the phone completely empty and run then it should be fully charged in the off mode this I have already done but that did not help also is the display is not dirty exposed to rain or such someone has perhaps a solution how to fix the problem?
i took it to phone shop and they factory reset phone , when test it it was same problem , then they installed fresh copy of system (dload) and the problem did not go away , so they open it and removed the screen and reinstall it but the problem did not go away . they said it might be board issue .
