anyone facing a display burning/image retention issue in galaxy watch 4?
3(one watch 4 and two watch 4 classic) out of 4 watches I received have the same issue. all are brand new ..issue since the day of delivery

yes, mine have retention when I use AOD. I´ll like tu use AOD but I don't use it because this issue.

i too am facing this issue, i guess its happening only with Samsung watch-faces( not sure, and i know it sounds ridiculous) , because i didn't observe this when i have used facer watchfaces with AOD
from then i stopped using Always on display.

That is screen burn-in from the AOD, there is no way to resolve this issue, without replacing the display.

i found all the watches are made aug 2022.the watch 4 made on July doesn't have any problem n still using it

Hello.
I got the Samsung Galaxy S6 on the 11th of April this year.
But I've been having som problems since then.
When I use the phone some letters isn't showing (see photos). It's everywhere from the clock on the lockscreen, messages app, to games.
I was wondering if anybody knows about this?
Samsung in Denmark says that I'm the only one they heard of who had this problem.
So I was curious.

Might be due to a rogue app. Go to recovery mode and do full reset.

remember to also do a backup if possible. You can use smart switch PC application

I have the exact same problem with mine. After multiple factory resets, waiting for updates, and running it in safe mode I finally sent mine into Samsung support hopefully to get fixed.

I've tried the same things as you mention. And sent it to my carrier for a repair. But all they did was update it and ship it back. No difference.
So after some time now, I've convinced my local Samsung shop to tell my carrier that there is a problem with the "motherboard" of the phone.
And that all of the inside hardware should be changed to some new.
So let's see how it's gonna end.
But please, tell me if you find a solution.

In my notification scren when i scroll down the message goes up again.Looks strange also i cant answer when i am in landscape mode.
Notice this problem with ONEui 3,0 android 11.(no root device, europian model exynos)
I made factory reset from phone settings twice, hard factory reset clear cashe repair apps from stock recovery.nothing..

I reported it once on the first initial one ui 3.0 and then again once I upgraded to ctl7, hopefully it gets fixed, but it doesn't seem like a priority to them. i actually just downgraded to 2.5 cause I hate the bugs they currently have.

Eventually is the time frame. Samsung took over a year to fix the Buds+ firmware. Lol not sure it's optimized even now and niether is Samsung
It probably will get fixed... eventually
Strange I'm not having this issue on mine at all. I got European version too but nordic one and my notification part is fine for me.

Samsung will substitute smaller chipsets and components during a production run if need be. Result is the firmware may not be compatible for those chipsets/components until the glitch is noticed and firmware updated to include them.
Add to that there are many variants of firmware because of different carriers and countries.
Received today FW update for GW4 in NLD.
Update has size of 107,02 MB and is reported to bring system stability and system reliability.
Just installed. No changes detected yet, too soon to notice improved battery performance.

all calendar complication are bugged system one too it shows icon of calendar insted od date or icon of watch instead of digital time saad

I charged my watch to 100% last night, noticed the update so installed that just before bed. I woke up to 17% battery left.
I did a reset, I hope this is not the shape of things to come..
Nah something is still quacked so far aod on custom watch face freez few times and go total Black on screen two times it's quacking sad how useless Samsung is.

Aod is still broken for example : p and my watch go late today once even on active watch face not aod xD complications are still bugged it's a mess... will tets it on another watch face tomorrow hope it is jus a problem witch this one

Anyone else having a issue with it saying connected sometimes then other times it just says connecting. I'm having lots of issues with messages not sending. Quite annoying..... Like I said it's connected sometimes and sometimes it's not . What seems to remedy this is removing the sim card and putting it back in .

Oh I'm sorry! I was in the beta thread too, so I got mixed up. I only had the issue on the beta. With Android 12 on my Fold 3 and Fold 4, I have no issues.

The issue appears to be a custom theme I applied in navstar. Having changed this to a suggested theme, the icons revert to being identifiable.

Well I jave no themes but most of my icons in notifications are colour on colour, difficult to distinguish
