Android 13 release date? - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Does anyone know when then 8T will get Android 13 in Europe?

No! The first closed beta bricked devices for people who tried to rollback. The current (pulled) closed beta is for the IN region only and as far as I know, there hasn't been a second closed beta release as of yet.

BETA 3 to official pie?can it be done?

Hey . I'm seen different answers about this topic everyone over on the OnePlus forums but said I'd ask here because you guys know what your talking about ?
I'm on stock oxygen is beta 3 and now that the official pie is out I want to upgrade to that but what I'm seen online says I can't direct dirty flash it
Some say I've to downgrade to beta2 because the newest official release is actually older than beta 3
So has anyone dirty flash it on top of beta 3 or what do you know on this topic.
Once again thanks
Disregard this. Just after I posted this beta 4 came out which is newer than the official release so happy days...
Beta 3 was already 11 minutes newer than stable Pie.

Pie release version?

Got 00WW_3_22C update (~1.4G),with 20180901 security patch, last Saturday.

Thanks.
I am a little bit confused.
if (stable == final release)
what is STABLE mean? as I know during software development(maybe not for Nokia), after several Beta versions, there may be RC1, RC2 ... (Release Candidate), and the final release.
or there will be a final release later?
I want to know because my phone is a Chinese version, and I update it to PIE Beta, and I got Pie update, if the version I got is an official release, that is to say this is a way to convert it to a global one without unlocking bootloader.

Yes, 00WW_3_22C is what you refer to as final release, and it's come after the different Developer Preview (Beta) versions (DP1, DP2, etc.).
(Although it is not "final" as in "definitive", because more updates will follow until Android Q is out. But it is the "stable" version you're looking for).
If you want to keep it converted to global, make sure you follow this thread so that you don't have trouble with OTA updates, network and SKUID. I'm not following the process personally but I believe you'll eventually need to root your phone.

Update failed "Android 10"

Hello everyone, I am new with oneplus, I have tried to install the android beta q, download the file and put it in the root but when I want to install it marks me error, because this is due, as it is solved, in advance thank you for your help.
Android Q for OnePlus 6 was not Beta but a Developer Preview that required a clean system, you cannot update. Please wait a few days for the official beta.

Question Rog 5 Global Rom can join Beta Version?

Hello
Has anyone joined the Beta version of android 12 having Global Rom?
I have about a month ago but haven't seen anything roll out yet
No updates for me too. Maybe because I unlocked my bootloader? Or maybe I am rooted it is not coming for me
Nar man. I'm enrolled as well. Been nothing so far An I'm on a locked bootloader.

Question Confused about the betas update path

So we had A13 betas and then once the A14 switched to beta my phone tried to download it (I prevented it). I thought, let's wait for a couple more releases before jumping ahead.
Then a new 13 QPR drops and I'm left wondering... how does one continue on the 13 train? Is there an 'official' way to stay off 14 until one decided to try it and just continue with 13?

Just ignore the pending A14 Beta 1 update and it should temporarily be replaced with the QPR3 Beta 3 update, which you can then install. Then when A14 Beta 2 drops, ignore that as well and wait for the next QPR3 beta, assuming there will be one.
From Google:
"If you’re currently enrolled in the Android Beta program and your device is still running Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2/2.1 (T3B2.230316.003/T3B2.230316.005), you will automatically receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to QPR3 Beta 3. This update will temporarily replace any pending Android 14 Beta 1 update, which you can verify in the OTA message by reviewing the build number (T3B3.230413.003/.A1).
Devices on Android 14 Beta 1 UPB1.230309.014/.A1 will not receive any QPR3 Beta updates.
If you aren't yet enrolled and would like to join Android Beta, please visit g.co/androidbeta. Newly enrolled devices will receive Android 14 Beta releases."
Oh thanks, had missed this notice. That's what I'm instinctively doing, but it's... messy? Would have expected a clearer path...
