My network connectivity is constantly cycling between 4G and 4G+. I can't get internet, and sending and receiving of SMS and RCS get all messed up.
This initially happened while on V13.0.3.0 global (vayu) but it persists after flashing to V13.0.5.0, and also manually flashing the latest baseband firmware. I also tried ArrowOS to no avail. I've done all sorts of troubleshooting but the takeaway is that this happens only with a specific carrier. Using a different SIM from the same carrier does the same thing but it works okay on a different phone.
Any idea what going on here?

If you have used Mi Flash, disregard this post. Otherwise use Miflash with a Fastboot rom which contains all the imgs.

We had a few hours network outage due to security reasons. But my G3 didnt recover when the outage was over and is still stuck at "no Service" even after several reboots, clean flash of cloudy and restoration to stock using nandroid. It was working just fine a night before. I have tried restoring Stock from nandroid but still no luck. I have tried different SIM cards too but still no connectivity.
*#06# shows proper IMEI number.
Baseband was shown as Unknown, So I flashed one from xda threads for D850 V10D. Now my Baseband is known. But no luck.
Wifi works fine.
Bluetooth works fine.
Sim Toolkit works fine
SIM contacts are visible
AAT tests USIM1 Passes
I am back to Stock using TOT method.
I even had a bit of luck and caught some signals last night but they came and Whooosh gone again never to return.
It is to be known that I am in Pakistan and D850 is ATT US. Do I need to take care of any unlocking to make it work here that the shopkeeper may already have done before selling it to me ? Because it worked fine before.
Edit::
I checked for unlock code. my phone says "Phone is not personalized". So i guess I am not operator locked.
Previously I had posted this in "G3 troubleshooting" forum assuming it to be cloudy ROM related but I think its much more serious than that. So posting it here in D850 Forum.

Yes. they are correct.
Almost sounds like a carrier network issue. Did they change frequencies?

Did you tried clean flash COS12.1 or Color OS.
This usually happens due to incompatible Modem with the firmware, bootloader combination.
I also experienced similar issue sometime back using Sultan's build, which is my primary OS right now.
check this post out and the thread.

Well I did the full stock rom to cos 11 updating it until the final incremental cos 13 but no success , never tried color Os I will look! any Rom in specific ?!
Try flashing latest CyanogenOS using fastboot:
https://cyngn.com/support
And if needed modems separately.
All the best!!
I had the same issue a few months ago with CM13 builds. My TWRP recovery was the problem. Try updaing it to the newest version.
dl.twrp.me/bacon/
i had a similar problem after OTA update to CM13.1. So upset I just waited a few days to calm down then went on here and found how someone said sim issues sometimes just need a new sim card. so i went down to my carrier metropcs and they put in a sim adapter for one thing my sim was nano and needed to be made to fit opo micro slot. then they did a refresh and it was good as if it never happened. cost me 15 bucks but worth it compared to what i thought i was up against.
I'm having a super weird issue with my OPO. No matter what I do (install different OS, flash new modem, complete wipe including formatting drives to a different format type) I keep getting two AT&T connections on my phone. *Can't post image due to post restrictions*
I am using a WIND sim from Canada with roaming in the US. I used to be able to connect to my choice of either AT&T or Tmobile. Now when I try and connect to one of those carriers, it flashes registered on network but then does not change what network it is registered on. I've tried disconnecting from the network and then trying to connect. Nothing! The only network it will let me connect to is that weird extra AT&T network, and all call through it have no caller ID, just says call from AT&T.
Any ideas of what this could be would really help me out. I'm all out of ideas
Update - After uninstalling and re-installing everything I could think of, I am now running on CM11. If I update through OTA to CM13 the problem returns.
Update 2 - In case anyone else encounters this issue, after a whole lot of work, including softbricking my phone, I managed to get it working. You must install TWRP Materialized and install the 44S baseband. No other recovery will work, must be Materialized. After I installed the 44S baseband I updated to Omnirom 6.0 and everything is working great!
Hello,
For nearly a month i have a problem with my sim card/cellular signal. One day all of a sudden i lost my signal and it said no service. I can't recieve or send calls and messages, nor use data.
I still have IMEI and baseband
Also i can't turn radio on in *#*#4636#*#* no matter what mode i select
I have tried
Searching network manually
Turning radio on
Wiping caches, data
Install newer version android
install older android (oxygenos 2.1.4)
Falshing different modems and firmwares from collection i found
Changing sim card
Have not tried
Flashing cm11s
Taking device apart
Else you tell me
Thanks

The T-Mobile software removes the ability to install update from local storage. You would have to convert to Global to be able to install the betas. I am running a T-Mobile OP8, converted to Global, running beta 3 no issues.

Make sure to read everything on the thread. Pull an image of your persist and your modem before flashing global. Some people lose network and/or FP, though having those two files can typically repair them pretty easily. If something bad happens during the conversion, you can use MSM to go back to T-Mobile firmware, but that doesn't fix your FP reader. That's why grabbing the persist is most important. You can do both from booting TWRP. Back up the modem directly in TWRP, and use adb shell along with "dd if=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist.img" to make an image of the persist. Once on global, you can simply install the update through the local upgrade process and go from there. From what I have read, you do lose 5G SA. I don't know if this is still valid on the latest beta or not, but it is something to note.

Using a program like LTE Discovery will tell you. In my case, it indicates I am connected to NR NSA 5G. I have not ever seen my phone go to SA 5G since converting, and I do live in an SA location and have connected while on T-Mobile software. See screenshot.
Mine says 5G NR

I have noticed it takes some fiddling with WiFi to get it to display network type. The 5G detection is still a WIP. There are probably other apps that may work better, but I am just used to using LTE Discovery over the years.
I'm also on a tmobile converted to global phone. Using Beta 3 and getting random errors with the sim card where phone says "no sim". Happens 1-2 times per day. Only way to fix is to reboot or eject the sim and reinsert. Either way, back to full bars for a few hours. I backed up modem and persist, but I don't think the Android 10 modem will work on Android 11. Also, can't flash because TWRP doesn't work on Android 11 yet. Very frustrating, looks like lots of reports of this happening on Oneplus 8 phones (Tmobile and unlocked) on here and oneplus forums. No solution found!
