I'm having a super weird issue with my OPO. No matter what I do (install different OS, flash new modem, complete wipe including formatting drives to a different format type) I keep getting two AT&T connections on my phone. *Can't post image due to post restrictions*
I am using a WIND sim from Canada with roaming in the US. I used to be able to connect to my choice of either AT&T or Tmobile. Now when I try and connect to one of those carriers, it flashes registered on network but then does not change what network it is registered on. I've tried disconnecting from the network and then trying to connect. Nothing! The only network it will let me connect to is that weird extra AT&T network, and all call through it have no caller ID, just says call from AT&T.
Any ideas of what this could be would really help me out. I'm all out of ideas
Update - After uninstalling and re-installing everything I could think of, I am now running on CM11. If I update through OTA to CM13 the problem returns.
Update 2 - In case anyone else encounters this issue, after a whole lot of work, including softbricking my phone, I managed to get it working. You must install TWRP Materialized and install the 44S baseband. No other recovery will work, must be Materialized. After I installed the 44S baseband I updated to Omnirom 6.0 and everything is working great!

After months of being stuck on my Verizon Moto G with a locked bootloader, I finally managed to obtain freedom via the recent update to the SunShine app from jcase. My phone was having some issues prior to unlocking, and it took me several hours of labor and installing/reinstalling things to finally get TWRP and any ROM going properly. I've worked with Android tablets and custom ROMs before, but this is my first time on a Verizon phone.
I managed to get the N5X ROM installed and running, but I couldn't seem to resolve issues with data/mms, which I presume are APN related; trying to enter new APN settings in that ROM wouldn't save for whatever reason, either. For now, I'm back on an optimized stock 4.4.4 image until I can get that figured out.
My question: Is there any list of custom ROMs that do specifically work with a Verizon CDMA/XT1028 Moto G? Does anyone have a guide to getting these ROMs working on Verizon prepaid service, including any APN adjustments that need to be made? Thanks.
Followup: Still trying to figure this out, but the N5X ROM will give me working data if I enable Data Roaming. I've attempted to update the PRL for Verizon via *228, but the phone status still shows as roaming even though my PRL has been updated, displaying my network as T-CDMA 64. Is this simply an issue with my phone not properly identifying roaming/non-roaming due to the custom ROM? Verizon has the best coverage in my area, so I want to make sure it is connecting to the proper towers (and I'm not ACTUALLY roaming). Thanks.
In Sultan CM13 my phone lost signal the moment I enter Roaming, I tried toggling Aeroplane, Changing phone from 2g network to 3g & LTE, also tried to select network operator manually but nothing worked, Any suggestion would be great.

Did you tried clean flash COS12.1 or Color OS.
This usually happens due to incompatible Modem with the firmware, bootloader combination.
I also experienced similar issue sometime back using Sultan's build, which is my primary OS right now.
check this post out and the thread.

Try flashing latest CyanogenOS using fastboot:
https://cyngn.com/support
And if needed modems separately.
All the best!!
I had the same issue a few months ago with CM13 builds. My TWRP recovery was the problem. Try updaing it to the newest version.

i had a similar problem after OTA update to CM13.1. So upset I just waited a few days to calm down then went on here and found how someone said sim issues sometimes just need a new sim card. so i went down to my carrier metropcs and they put in a sim adapter for one thing my sim was nano and needed to be made to fit opo micro slot. then they did a refresh and it was good as if it never happened. cost me 15 bucks but worth it compared to what i thought i was up against.
Greetings, I have created an account in order to seek help directly.
I received a LG P920 phone already rooted on ICS 4.0.4
At this time mobile networks worked and the phone was able to make calls and such. I did a factory reset which led to a recovery-loop so I followed this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228269
I then obtained CWM 6 using this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2144738
And finally decided to flash Cyanogenmod 11 unofficial
http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-3d/development/rom-t2929971
It was at this point that I realized I couldn't connect to networks at all, thinking maybe the ROM was faulty I went for the official CM10 rom (the last nightly available on cyanogenmod), but that did not work either. Tried returning to ICS (v30a) but I couldn't connect to networks.
I've searched a lot of guides to recovering mobile networks but the catch is that most of them talk of lost IMEI numbers, which my phone hasn't lost. I looked into using LG flashtool aswell but all links are broken, be it for the software, the crack or the dll I need to have.
I'm at a loss right now, most of the guides I've seen here are for different purposes other than just getting the mobile networks going.
The SIM card works on another phone. Also, when trying to enter the password it will at times accept anything or not accept anything at all, even if it's the right code. If I search networks, they will be found but I'll just get 'Can't connect to this network right now'
My Baseband reads LGP920AT-00-V30a-EUR-XXX-APR-04-2013 and I'm currently on CM10
update: I have been informed by the previous owner that this phone hasn't been SIM unlocked, which is probably the problem here. Obviously this wasn't going to be so easy as I obtained the code and attempted to unlock it, but for some reason the process was unsuccessful. guess I'm still lost
Thanks in advance

I recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy S10 (SM-G973F).
At first glance the phone was in excelent shape. The SIM Card was connecting to the mobile network, and calls, internet connection, etc was OK.
But then, I found out that the phone had been rooted. Probably, by the seller. In pannic, I rushed to unroot flashing the stock Rom.
Here what I did:
1- Forgot to check my precisly CSC code and assumed ZTA (cause I'm from Brazil, and the phone is from carrier "Claro")
2- Downloaded the stock rom using Frija
3- Using Odin 3.14.1 flashed the device.
The previous rooted system was on Android 10 and One UI 2.5. With this new rom went to Android 11 and One UI 3.0.
The problem:
The phone recognizes the SIM Card. But it simply doesn't connect to the network. When I try to make a call it says: " not registered on network"
The phone DO recgonizes the SIM Card. On the SIM Card Manager shows my carrier name (Vivo) and my phone number. Also, the SIM app is showing on the app list.
Things I tried:
Rebooting the phone
Changin the SIM Slot
Testing the SIM on another device to ensure it was working
Checked if the IMEI wasn't missing/undefined. It is not, the IMEI appears to be untouched
Checked if the IMEI had been blacklisted. It's not.
Flashed SEVERAL different stock ROMS with different CSC (ZTO, ZTA, ZVV)
Try to manually select the network. This also throws an error saying "error while searching for network"
I'm really desperate and don't know what to do anymore.
No one have a clue either? :C

How to Fix 'Not Registered on Network' on Android
Here is how to fix 'Not Registered On Network' error on Android. Mostly error occurs on Samsung phones, but this solution works for all android phones.

Wow,
This is exactly like my S10 right now.
At first, all is good, the signal was great, all working well, except cant connect to samsung pass and samsung health because it was root.
then i brought to sellular shop service, to flash the phone.
Then, “not registered to network” happened. The signal ok, the phone able to read dual simcard, but “emergency call only” and if i try to search network manually, “error while searching for network”
And the sellular shop service have no idea how to fix after they reflashed and try to fix it for several days.
Have you found any solution to fix your pho?
pls advice…

So, were you able to find a solution for this problem? I also bought a Note 9 N960F/DS recently and found out it was actually a N960N model that was changed to N960F/DS. So I did exactly what you did, I flashed the original stock rom, N960N, but now phone will not connect to network. I also did hard reset, reflash other stock roms, nothing changed. Anybody with insight should please give us some pointers.
