wired headsets echo - Google Pixel 4a Questions & Answers

Since I have Android 13, I have an echo / reverb when talking on the phone. I am now at TP1A.221005.002 and it is still. Does anyone else have this? Supposedly this should be fixed with the last update. https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/182185261/google-pixel-update-october-2022

[Q] An echo and noise appear when I use the Bluetooth Headset for phone calls

Dear All,
An echo and noise appear when I use the Bluetooth headset for phone calls, all my friends are saying that the voice quality is very bad.
I have SAMSUNG NOTE 10.1 - Model #: GT-N8000, Android Ver. 4.1.2, Baseband Ver. N8000XXCLL1, Kernel Ver. 3.0.31 - 808282.
Please your advice is appreciated,
BR,
No help here really, just confirming what you have. I recently got a HM5100 BT Pen and on the Note 2 voice is good, while on the 10.1 I get an echo all the time. I've found the BT on the 10.1 much more flakey too, so hopefully an update may fix things.

Echo when using earbuds

I'm having a weird problem. Every now and then I get this Echo effect from my headphone. I have tested 3 different ones(one of them are brand new) and every now and then my mic starts to echo all the sounds. So the ones that I am talking to can't hear me beacuse everything comes through twice.
As I have tested 3 different headphones (or rather their microphones) they can't be the problem. Any idea what could be the problem. and how to solve it?

Bluetooth crashing car stereo since update

I have a 2014 Toyota tundra. Before the update my Bluetooth was working perfect. Since the update, anytime I turn on the Bluetooth, it reboots/crashes my stereo. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem?
Sam
I have a Toyota Avalon and I am also having bluetooth issues since the 6.0.1 update. I have to power down the stereo and bluetooth on the phone to get the Media audio portion of bluetooth to connect. The Call audio connects fine automatically.
I called Verizon and they have has some reports of issues with this. They documented the issue and transferred me Samsung with no resolution.
Marshmallow on all the Nexus devices appear to have issues with Bluetooth according to these sites, could the issue be a marshmallow wide issue?

I just wanted to chime in. I have a 2004 Corolla and I don't have native Bluetooth audio connectivity so I use: FlexSMART X3 Bluetooth FM Transmitter. So far so good since the update to Marshallow and use with my LG HBS 750 Bluetooth Headset is ok as well. Sorry, sort of not really the same issue, but its working ok since Monday, when I took the OTA update to Marshmallow. Hopefully they Verizon/Samsung has a fix for this issue.
Same issue
I have a 2015 Highlander and have exact same issue. If you go to settings and then bluetooth, click the sprocket next to the paired toyota device and turn off contact and call sync, it will stop crashing your Toyota stereo. It does mean that your contacts and call history will not show in your Toyota system. I reinstalled android 5.1.1 from www sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SMN920V/ download 5.1.1 and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page. The download takes about 2 hours but worth having my toyota stereo working again. I have contacted Toyota and Verizon and both have been zero help. :crying:

Speaker phone sound issues during a call

I have a problem with my phone.
Since upgrading to Android 9, people can't hear me when I put them on speaker phone. I think it's because on Android 7.1.2 I had my mixerpath.xml and build.prop edited, but I no longer have these files and my phone was in bootloop so I flashed Android 9.
Is it possible to fix something in the mixerpath.xml and build.prop to get this working again so while I'm in call and use the speaker they can hear me on speaker phone without echo?

Miui 11.0.1.0 (QFGE EXM) update, bluetooth devices not always connected

In August I got the Miui 11.0.1.0 (QFGE EXM) with the july security patch updates on my global versions note 7. Since then my bluetooth headsets (plantronics voyager legend) constantly have problems with the audio. Basically, the headset is connected but sound is not played. Sometimes the loudspaeker on phon eplays sound, sometimes the sound is playing nowhere. Switching off on of the headset sometimes helps, often not. The only thing that helps always is restarting the phone.
Anyone else has the same problem?. What could be the cause? I understood 11.0.4 is already circulating but wasn't offered yet to my phone. Does anyone have a problem on those phones?
