I have a problem with my phone.
Since upgrading to Android 9, people can't hear me when I put them on speaker phone. I think it's because on Android 7.1.2 I had my mixerpath.xml and build.prop edited, but I no longer have these files and my phone was in bootloop so I flashed Android 9.
Is it possible to fix something in the mixerpath.xml and build.prop to get this working again so while I'm in call and use the speaker they can hear me on speaker phone without echo?

Hi,
I have a technical question regarding changing/re-routing microphone.
Here's my problem, it seems like my micro stopped working properly recently (maybe after a drop). The main microphone produces very little sound input and because of that, voice call doesn't work -- people can't hear me very well at all from the other side. Also voice recording doesn't work.
Spaker phone mode and headset mode works just fine. So i know the main-heandset-mic is broken.
My solution:
So I've tried a few approach, including editing the mixer_paths.xml file in system/ect/mixer_paths.xml
I have successfully replaced the main-mic with the speaker-mic and this seems to help a little bit. I'm able to record sound again using the speaker-mic.
But during call, it won't active that mic. I think android turns off all the other mic (both speaker-mic and headphone-mic, if it doesn't detect a headset plugged in and if I'm on normal handset mode).
Does any developers who knows android well enough to help me with this? I think somehow if I can have it so that android won't turn off my spaeker-phone mic when I'm in normal call mode would work, since the I've already replaced the mixter path profile of main-mic with that of speaker-mic.
Hope this is not too confusing..... I've trying my best to describe the problem. it's been very frustrating.
Mic prob
Hi again... I bought new main mic and build it in my oneplus... as I thought this would be the Problem that my phone has Problems during calls (People don't hear me well...
But nothing changed... If I Flash new roms it is always tehre the Problem... are there any chnages in mixer path or build prob that I can try to disable the other two mics? Maybe one of those is the Problem...
If I do the build prob and mixer path changes I am able to have normal phone calls, but Speaker phone calls are not possible... People don't hear me at all... means if I do the changes ma main mic doesn't work in Speaker phone mode...
thank you very much
Nobody who has the same problem
My Pixel device produces no sound in the right speaker. When I got it the phone was already running Android 9. I thought it was a hardware issue and plugged in earphones (which work perfectly everywhere else), and there was no sound in the right earbud, either. It led me to believe this is a software issue, and I tried installing LineageOS which failed (exactly the same problem this thread talks about), and I gave up and used the method explained in an answer in the same thread to flash the official 9.0.0 (PPR2.181005.003.A1, Nov 2018) factory image from here (the version that came with the phone was from October).
Things I tried so far:
Rebooting.
Factory reset (while trying to install LineageOS the device got completely wiped a number of times).
Cleaning the speakers and earphone jack.
Switch "Mono audio" on and off in accessibility settings.
I'm guessing somewhere in the audio driver configuration file the right channel is muted. Can that be solved? I'll be really grateful if a solution can be found!
Hey guys,
the OP6 is one of the best phones I had yet even with the stock os. But even before returning to stock I used Havoc OS. There, I didn't have any problems that couldn't be fixed in the settings. Now when I have a bluetooth headphone connected I have this short crack every 5 to 30 seconds. I tried adjusting all the settings in the bluetooth section but non works. Since it worked in havoc OS I figured it must be something software related. Same with the mic. It works flawlessly on calls but upon sending a whatsapp voice message it's very quiet it sound like it was adjusting the sensitive very quickly up and down during the recording, producing a weird sounding message.
Do you have any suggestions how to fix this? Maybe something inside the build.prop or audio related xml files in system/etc?
Hello all,
I have a weird issue on my OnePlus 6. I have no sound on my earpiece speaker most of the time.
Bluetooth audio is working perfect.
I have this issue since Android 9 and it's still there after last update to 10.3.5.
I did one clean install after the Android 10 update, but it's still there. There is no hardware issue because sometimes I can use it. Mostly after I enabled the speaker und disabled it again.
Does anybody have the same issue or a fix?
Did you ever figure this out? I'm having this issuer now
