Not working:
ZUI PC modeThis feature was redefined in ZUI 14. It only applies to external display.
You are highly recommended to feedback the absent of this features to Lenovo and hoping Lenovo will listen to enable back this feature on the next release.
Workaround
Google Device Config Backup to GDriveEven you had enabled the Google Play services, and it works on almost everything, except this. It just don't backup the device config to GDrive.
Knowledge Bases:
Activate Google Play Support
How to Root the device - Specially thanks to BlackVictor
Special Features:
Wireless cast to Tablet as extended display from PC
I think y can change your rom to global rom.

Let me started with my own sharing:
I just got my set of XiaoXin Pad Pro 2022 with China ROM but been enabled with Google Play. However, it wasn't full as some of the feature was broken, such as:
- Device Config Backup to GDrive
Due to my Google Play support was enabled by the seller before sending out, I could not confirm the actual way to acquire this features. When asked the seller, he said that just download the Google Play APK from the internet and install. Some video said the Application Center did offered the Google Play installation too. Which indeed true that I could find that there. This is the easiest way to get the Google Play installed into your tablet. However, there was reporting that it won't sign-in to your google account.
Since it runs on China ROM, the Productivity Mode is missing but replaced by Study Assistant Mode. This is something missing from the best part of this table, when attached with a keyboard. However if you are to project/cast the display to external display, the one on the external display will be in productivity mode. How strange, right?

Zhen have you figured out a method to enable Productivity / PC Mode? Study Assistant is near-useless for me and I'm really missing the Productivity Mode....
Good Day
Firstly, I'm sorry my English not good
Honestly, I'm shocking from this table not support sign in for google Apps
Why they don't told us about this issue before we get it !!!!
Anyway, now how we can change it from Chinese ROM to international ROM ?

Unfortunately, according to the ZUI 14 update, it had abandone the PC Mode within the internal display. It will only appear on the external display that you connect through the Type C. But, during then, your internal screen will still not in PC mode. I was requested feedback to Lenovo on this and request to have that feature back. You should do the same...

By looking at the download filename, it is for TB128FU. Our table is TB138FC. It is best not to mix and match the firmware with the device that you own.
This is a SD870 SOC device, I believe the resources for this SOC on a Custom ROM support is plenty. I do hope there will be developer interested on this table and build something interesting for us. Let's hope for the best.
Furthermore, this table is relatively new in the market. For a custom ROM, we might really need to be patient for one. But who knows there is already one in the development state? Just be hopeful.

It did work with the following steps:
Install Google Playstore apk (from APKMirror and look for ARM64-v8a architecture)
Install Google Play Services apk (from APKMirror and look for ARM64-v8a architecture)
Install Google Services Framework 12 apk (from APKMirror and look for ARM64-v8a architecture)
Turn on the Google Basic Services:
Settings -> Apps management -> 3 dots on the top right -> Google Basic Services
Voila! it work like a charm.

So far the only feature I could not make it work is the Google backup.

Did you face this problem?
Checked from the ZUI Weibo fanpage and found an interesting features of our tablet. It can be wireless extended display from you notebook (Windows base). It is through the Lenovo One. It is an interesting features:

Check out the video demo there and you can download the installer here to try for yourself.
However, the wireless cast from phone is only supported by Lenovo phone with ZUI at the moment. No APK that we could download to enable this feature from other brand phone, yet.
Or anyone could extract the Lenovo One APK from our tablet to test if it works? Interesting question.

Our screen is 11.2 inch.. just check with seller for that size should work.
As of case, I'm not sure about the 3rd party product. The Lenovo cases that I'm using is pretty good where it had the pen placement to protect our pen. Pretty convenient. I had the one with keyboard too. Both are as convenient as it should be.

Hi. First if all, let me tell you I don't have the device, but planning to buy one soon. One of the guys in my neighborhood have a global rom version for sale. I am reading through the forums and I can see most of the users here have the Chinese version of the phone. I would like to ask somebody with the Indian version and global rom installed if there is any issue from those that affect the Chinese version of the phone (vivo account necessary to change the launcher, bloatware, notification issues etc...). Is the device certified in google play store? Is Google assistant working normally with dedicated button?
Thanks.

Yes the Indian (global) version is certified in play store.
You can use any launcher without any trouble.
Bloatware is there and some of it is uninstallable.
Yes Google lense and assistant is working great with dedicated button but cannot remap it.
Same as above. Also the bloatware is far less compared to Chinese version as seen on YouTube. No phone number verification required to do any kind of changes in system.
Thanks guys, I appreciate your insight.
Are you experiencing any issues with notifications not showing up? Bluetooth connectivity issues if some kind (stuttering sound for example)?

Never faced this problem with notifications. Sorry no idea about Bluetooth, haven't tried it.
Few other things: is changing a launcher a pain as in Chinese model?
Are settings of the phone accessible from a quick settings tie or only from the icon (the actual app)?
Have been using the phone for past 2 days and loving it especially coming from Honor Note 8, where getting Notification and many of the simple things used to cause lots of headache.
Loving the phone- no issues with notification and/or changing Launcher. @boober78- In Chinese version, you apparently need Vivo account to change Launcher! (Used to be issue with Honor phone as well)
Bluetooth works fine and have it connected with Gear S3, which also is running smoothly, unlike Honor wherein, the aggressive battery monitor used to close it intermittently. Having used EMUI (and other Chinese version Mobiles past 3 years, including Mi Mix), I think this has been a pleasant change. Only thing I dont like is Size- its too small for my liking! If Honor Note 10 releases in India, will go for it.
I am facing one issue. Any third party app which uses camera especially front camera in night even with sufficient light, is getting yellowish and pink image. Human face and colors dont appear normal. Video calling quality feels as if I am using 5000 inr smartphone. Example, video calling in duo, whatsapp etc, Google lens, open camera app, etc.

Funny company. Look at what happens when you switch on developer settings. My goodness. Overall it's a beast of a phone, but come on vivo, get a grip.
Got the India model today and now i have both models The Indian model is realy great.
First things i notice are:
- Indian model has a verry small Vivo logo on the back, you can almost not see it.
- All notifications like Whatsapp works without disabling i Manager app.
- White looks more white on Indian model, white on Chinese model looks kinda dull.
- Jovi button on Indian model activates Google lens and Google Assistant.
- On Indian model all Google apps are pre-installed and Google Play Store is certified.
- Vivo account is not needed anymore. There is Vivo Cloud, but you can make an account easy with email.
- App clone works with Whatsapp, just press the Whatsapp icon and hold to enable it.
- App linking works on Indian model.
- Screenshot app works much better on Indian model.
- Apps that use the slide down like "dimmer" work on Indian model.

I purchased my Oppo Find X2 Pro from Trading Shenzhen and it already had google playstore and google apps installed. Although, i had to "adb shell pm" a few of the Chinese bloatware.

Hello, I asked at australian support if you can flash the Global Rom but there was no clear answer. I was told in China that they don't give Google Apps or block them (I know all that already). My device is still on the road otherwise I would test it myself.

It's not possible yet to install global ROM on Chinese variant. I tried but the phone alerts you that the ROM version is lower than the installed version. I had a similar problem with the Vivo Nex S. We need to be able to unlock the bootloader first, which may be possible in the near future.
Beware of L3 after unlocking

But after unlocking the bootloader you're losing L1 for good. Which means only 540p quality in Netflix, which might be a deal-breaker for me personally, given the gorgeous display this phone has.

That's not a concern to many who unlock their bootloader's. I would rather be able to root my device than view HD videos on Netflix.
Hi
I have a P40 Pro which I did manage to get most of the Google software working on (apart from pay and gmail notifications)
I have just purchased a car that does not have Android Auto on it, but they do have an after market add on module I can buy that would add Android Auto to my vehicle. The P40 Pro is not on the list of compatible phones. Does anyone know if this will work before I go ahead and buy the unit? The supplier can't help.
There are various phones that run Android 10 eg Google and Samsung that are listed as compatible. It also says all Android 11 phones. The P40 Pro is still on Android 10. However I have had no issues in installing Android Auto from the Play Store.
What I really want to do is to be able to run other maps in the car such as Google Mapes or Waze.
The supplier can't help as technically I shouldn't even be able to run Play Store or Google maps, all of which work 100% fine on my phone.
(Just to add I used Googleify my phone when it first came out and my Gmail account still works. I get emails through OK and Calendar syncs automatically etc. Play Store works fine and I can download apps from there - the phone is running the latest security updates and some things in Googleify seem broken, but everything that was working when I first installed this a year ago seems to still be working - just in case this helps)
Many thanks

Looks promising, I bet adfree or Dante might like this...
Hopefully soon
MOD EDIT: Quote removed since post removed.
That's been talked about before and it's super sketchy. You have to install some random guys app store, give his app tons of permissions, pay him then you get a limited version of Google assistant.
His telegram group have banned people for asking about the security concerns of his apps permissions. Super sketchy
If you install google go apk or other assistant also shows on this menu, but for now seems that only bixby is mapped to home button longpress
Google Assistant on Galaxy Watch 4 classic. Working for me. I follow theses steps

Interesting. The video in Spanish isn't terribly helpful, though. I am sure there are others out there. Seems like there would be a simpler way to sideload to the watch, but maybe not. Are you nervous about running some random APK? Good find on the "default app" > assistant. Didn't even notice that until now. How are your "activating" the assistant when you want to use it? Do you have to launch the app each time? Or did you bind it to a button or action on your watch face or something?

Is there also a non-telegram download link somewhere?
It's a gimped version of the assistant....can't play music on Spotify or youtube music, can't use find directions or navigate to commands....when not connected to the phone on bluetooth it struggles to process queries. And most frustrating of all.....screen powers down terminating the request mid way....and setting as default assistant makes no difference, long press still opens up ****sby. Need to remap double tap home to launch app....which takes a while to fire up
Can't wait for Google to release it officially....

Cool/thanks.
Is there an easy way to sideload? What method do you use? Also, is Chrome required for the Assistant, or did you just include that as a bonus?
Bugjeager works just fine.

krogoth, thanks again. I finally went ahead and tried it. Sent the two APK's to my phone with Airdroid. Put watch in developer mode, figured out how to turn on ADB and force wifi on (I had to disconnect bluetooth). Loaded Bugjeager on my phone. Went into developer options on watch to find IP address, connected to it in Bugjeager, finally figured out how to upload an app Bingo- it is on the watch! Binded it to top button double press, turned off ADB, turned off Wifi and BT back on....
It actually works (at least for now). Obviously not designed for round screens. Even has a dialog on the bottom I can't dismiss, since I can't see it. But it can answer questions (what is the time? What is the square root of 13? What is my battery level? etc). When I ask to SEE something like "show me a picture of a cat", nothing appears. I installed Chrome too, to see if it would launch that to show it... it doesn't. I don't think it can show anything due to the lack of space on the screen and no way to navigate (that I can figure out, anyway). Also times out too quickly sometimes.
Anyway, I will play with it some. It might have a lot of issues, but it is a hell of a lot more functional than NOTHING!

Is this still the version where you have to donate to the creator ?
And do you have to give out your Google account to a third party (or creator) ?
Hi,
I just got the P11 Pro and it comes with pre-installed Netflix app.
Problem is that the app is not working and it also blocks me from getting it from play store...

Does anybody know how to fix that?
My ROM version is TB-J706F_S620022_210910_ROW
Neverming, I saw TechTablets had the same issue and solved it withthe Netflix apk from apk mirror.
It indeed fixed it for me too!
Uninstall then side load. Although it should be there which is odd.

I can't uninstall, it's seen as a system app (only the disable option is there which doesn't solve anything).
And sideloading is actually crap, as without the link to play store and play protect, it reverts to L3, meaning no HD or HDR.
It feels pretty stupid to have a L1 device and have no L1 app that works on it

Not sure that is true, as I just got my tablet that didn't come with a preloaded Netflix, and wasn't available in the play store, so I sideloaded it, and Netflix still shows as L1, and Full HD.
You cannot update Netflix from Playstore because the Device is not certified, you can see that in Play store settings.
You can solve this changing region code, this procedure will force a factory reset and you will lose all data.
Open settings app
Write on search ####6030#
Select a region different from China
After that your tablet will factory reset, your device is going to be certified and you can update Netflix that will have L1.
You'll still be able to receive OTA updates.
@CptanPanic if you go in Play store settings does it tell your device is certified?
Can you check which region is set?
You can check the region selected with this code ####5993#
My tablet came with global ROM and Netflix preinstalled, with all same problems as @Stremon
@MrCrayon Google Play reports "Device is Certified", where do I type that code to get region? But I would guess it is CN.

In settings, same instructions as in my previous post but use the other code.
What's the version of your ROM?
If your device is certified you should be able to install and update directly from PlayStore.

I tried 3 different regions, they all showed up as certified in play protect, they all were L1 in the drm check app, but the Netflix app always sees only L3.
Can you guys tell me what the Netflix app tells you in the "Playback Specification" menu?

Wow, I guess something happened, I have L3 too in Netflix now!
It was probably a Netflix update that broke it, you might try to install an older version.
I know for sure it was L1 around 10 days ago.
@CptanPanic can you check again if Netflix reports L1 and which version do you have installed?

Ok so that's normal, I was afraid my tablet had something especially wrong there
Issue is that older versions will most likely fall down to L3 beside it won't be in sync with Play Store anymore.
On a side note Amazon Prime does work perfectly in HDR, and Disney+ works ok as well but only HD, no Dolby Vision.
So I tried the previous Netflix version, 8.12.0, still same problem.
I guess Netflix removed the device from their list.
If @CptanPanic Netflix is still L1 I can see a couple of things to check:
Actual model Xiaoxin vs P11
ROM global vs chinese
Mine are
Xiaoxin Pad Pro
TB-J706F_S620022_210910_ROW
and
TB-J706F_S620150_211226_ROW

Are you joking.. They can't even fix issues with their core software let alone a streaming app which isn't even used widely in china.

Well... Yeah true haha
Although with the Netflix app I wonder if it had something to do with the fact that it's preinstalled. Maybe if it gets completely removed from the base ROM it would work? Not sure but I do hope.
Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is still in the supported tablet list https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23939
So I'm wondering if this is affecting only the Chinese version Xiaoxin Pad Pro or also Lenovo Tab P11 Pro.
Yes I have Netflix L1, but have only had tablet for 2 days now, using latest Netflix apk. I have J716F

Yeah not the same model, we are talking about the J706F model here
I guess you are using the Chinese ROM on yours?
I tried uninstall the preloaded app through adb, install different version, but it's a no go. I do believe that Netflix simply blocks any Android tablet with an unauthorized preloaded Netflix app...
