Help connecting Galaxy SCR01 5G Mobile Router to network - General Questions and Answers

I cannot connect to the Internet in the UK with this device. I have got to Sim card, both of which work in an iPhone for data. One has been set up with APN settings as guided by that network. The other not.
With Talkmobile and APN settings there is a circle with a bar where I believe I should see network connection at the top right of the galaxy screen. The main Galaxy dashboard shows 5G but I don’t believe this. Also if I go to software update within settings on the Galaxy it says that no network is available.

Only when the status bar shows the 5G logo, the device can access the Internet. Maybe you should first confirm whether your region supports n77, n78, n41, n28 these 5g frequency bands.

thank you. band 78 is good thanks. got it to work after a while, i just need to wait quite a long while for the status bar to update and show 5g

So please I want to rebrand my phone from the chinese version H60-L12 to the international version H60-L04, but I've read that there is hardware difference between both variants and I just want to confirm if it is ok to rebrand the phone..
Edit: I forgot to mention that when I insert the SIM card in the second slot which support 2G only there is no issue and the signal perception is very good even inside my house and away from the windows!

Android Slow LTE - 18Mbps Down but 42Mbps up??

I have a Samsung S8 Active and I'm getting incredible upload speeds but average download.
I'm on the largest and fastest mobile carrier here in Australia, anyone got any ideas what might be causing this? Always thought DL should be the same or faster than UL?

Weird thing is you can see the download speed spikes quite high, then it just plummets.
On a similar issue in a different location I had my mate who is on the same network carrier sit next to me at a shop. We both ran a speedtest, he has a Google Pixel 2 (on specs the phones are almost identical, mine should be slightly faster). His hit 100Mbps+ for download while mine only hit 52Mbps.
double-post
So just to bump I've discovered that Carrier Aggregation is enabled on the Samsung G892A but it never connects it is always showing in the Service menu as CA: Not-Config so it is enabled but not connected even though the local carrier allows CA/VoLTE/VoWifi.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get these working?

Preferred network type missing

Android 10 os. I have Moto Edge 5g made for Google Fi. Advertised to work with Google Fi 5g bought from Motorola.
Problem: my phone connects to 5g, 4g etc. Sometimes I have a great 5g signal with an x to the right of the 5g signal and no data works. Phone only seems to change to 4g where 5g signal is not available.
I can't manually turn off 5g functions.
Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network says Google Fi. When I click on that there is no option to choose Preferred network type.
I haven't found a way to fix it. I have tried to reach out to Google support for help. They keep on suggesting resetting my mobile network settings, cleaning my sim card and telling me to find preferred network type which doesn't exist on my phone. Searching in settings doesn't find it either.. I have heard others have had similar problems related to 5g but not identical to mine.
On previous phones I could use the fi switch app. This no longer works. I wanted to post the problem to see if anyone else out there has had the same problem and found a fix.
I don't want to brick my phone or void warranty... If unable to find a solution I will return it to motorola.
Thanks for any help in advance.

[Help ]Samsung S20 Ultra/NO DATA/NO SMS/NO MMS/NO APN EDIT/ NO HOPE!!

I just bought S20 Ultra. My service is thru Total Wireless but it is a Verizon phone. I bought a new SIM and went thru all the hoops to activate it but I have no data, and no messaging. It shows 4G LTE on the top but it is greyed out. When I try to make a call it shows 1X. Also when I go to APN settings I can not add or edit and it displays "APN settings are not available for this user" I spent 11 hours between CHAT and Phone calls with Customer service. They had me factory reset twice, reset network settings, power on with and without data/wifi/roaming and or airplane mode on numerous times . They said they were updating my APN settings every time and pushing something thru to my phone but none of it worked. I tried to put a non working sim from T Mobile in and then add an apn but every time I would change the MCC it would disappear when I went to save. I don't know what else to try but I am hoping one of you might be able to help !!

Question [Answered] OnePlus 9 Global VoWiFi

I have been searching all over for days on this. I would like to know if someone knows of a way to get VoWiFi on T-Mobile (Mint Mobile). The T-Mobile version of this phone has it, but the Global does not. I am running the EU version of the OS. Is there a way to get VoWiFi on this to work? I see the setting for it in the settings, but even on it does not activate.
OK. I figured this out. It turns out my router was not configured properly. I turned on VPN Passthrough and WiFi Calling just worked. Apparently VoWiFi uses IPSec VPN connection.

I have VoLTE working. The T-Mobile network no longer supports any phone that doesn't have that. I am trying to get VoWiFi. Which carrier are you on?
Figured it out. Check First post.
