1st of all: To unlock the bootloader you have to accept the OEM unlocking from the developer settings (if you dont know how to access them google it)
2nd: while in fastboot on the fastboot driver execute the command " fastboot devices"
the output should be something like xxxxxxxx fastboot
If the pc or mi unlock tool doesnt see the phone the change your fastboot &/or adb drivers
If it still doesnt recognise it then you should change cable or go to a technician to fix the phone.
My one plus is stuck in Qualcomm crash dump mode, It won't boot into recovery mode, but id does boot fastboot mode, I cant use adb to flash it because my bootloader is locked, adb cant recognize my device. I have tried QDL mode to use Guac msm download tool but it does no good, Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong?
Your best bet is to read up on the msm tread. A lot of answers can be found there.
With a locked BL , I can only suggest msm tool. Personally never got it to work myself but I unlocked my BL as soon as I got my phone so I used fastboot ROM to fix it. Best of luck
Hello Everyone, I am using Oppo F15 CPH 2001 which is based on Mediatek MT6771V. And its come with Android 9 Pie but right now i am using Android 11. Problem is i can't unlock the bootloader i tried all kinds of ADB & Fastboot commands nothing works and my phone is not booting to fastboot mood. Well it's give me some kinds of key combination. Like some kind of binary key but i just want to unlock the bootloader so i can install GSI ROM for it but because of this problem i can't able to do that so if you guys know or if you have any idea that how am i be able to break that encryption or bypass it please let me know. Bruh can you give me the steps? Because i wanna try android 13 from dsu loader and it doesn't require root, the only prerequisite is unlocked bootloader, i tried mtkclient software to unlock bootloader but it didn't even boot into fastboot mode. PROBLEM SOLVED
My version is Kb2003, and i can't enter EDL mode, nothing will connect to device manager nor msm tool when I'm trying to enter edl. The phone connects only when I'm in fastboot.

Hi guys, my friend got a new Xiaomi 12X and while trying to flash a global rom he bricked the phone into fastboot mode only.
We can't flash a new rom through MiFlash because it says that the device is locked. We can't boot into the system anymore to do the unlock process. No access to recovery mode, FASTBOOT ONLY.
How can we proceed? I know that there's probably some way to do this without unlocking, china sellers from AliExpress and stores like that do this every day to change from china to global ROMs.

You're looking for the fastboot rom, specifically, available on the offical website and on one of these forums. That's the one you can push from fastboot on your PC
the other methods won't work while its stuck in fastboot
