can you suggest me model?? i gonna purchase it. thanks

Original charger and cable has 5 usb contact's, charger a small tongue in front, and cable same one in the depth. That's why it showing decimals. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mMEJv5K some comments shows decimals working, others doesnt because uses not supported cables.

That is just a animation, not a "real" value for the battery.
If doesn't show the decimal, but the fast charging is working, then there is nothing wrong.

Assuming your new charger has the correct wattage, reboot to fastboot mode then long press the power button to exit fastboot. Decimals should appear again.

Reed my post again, quick charge may work on 33w charger, decimals on original or copy of charger and cable! And yes, not always showing decimals on last rolled back updates... anyway if your phone gets charged at ~1:20, it is quick charge!

i am using 25 watts super fast charging charger that is model : EP-TA 800 . is it safe to charge poco x3 pro with 25 watt charger.
and also tell how to check 33 watt charger is charging phone at 33 watt by ampere? @mr.onegin

Ohm's law, dude. Read up on it.

Should be approximately 5000mA on low battery and less later. As example, original 33w show ~2400 mA on 90%. Phone charging on 27w max, so with 25w you will not get the maximum but it is safe anyway. And yes, as posted before, all info is written on charger.

Huawei Mate 8 Quick Charge.

Hi.
I have a question about Mate quick charge:
I found that Mate 8 has quick charge future. This future is in the phone or in the charger?
How can I switch between quick charge and normal charge?(there is a label on the charger "Quick charge", So for normal charge I should buy a new charger?)
Will quick charge harm the battery(In long usage and compare to normal charge)?

you can use a certified quick charger or normal charger. Its just the normal charger will take longer..
They have made the quick charge work in a way that it charges fast until it reaches 80%, and then gradually decreases to 'normal' up to 100% full, so in the long run it should have no harm to the battery.

there is no option. you can either use a QuickCharger or a normal charger..
But as i said with a quickcharger it Automatically changes the amperage as it gets more full, so as to protect the battery.

That's nonsense.
Any charger will do. Not every charger will charge the phone as fast as the original one though.
Using an Anker 5-ports charger here, without any issues, obviously.

OK, i don't want to argue with you. Just share opinion. And for some reason the manufacturer pay attention to use genuine chargers (attached pictures).

those warnings are for non technical minds.. because they done pay attention to technicalities.
Any charger will work, but you do need to take note of the output Voltage mainly...
Amperage will just mean how fast or slow it will charge..
- If i were to use a 9v 2A charger on a 5v 2A phone, i think it may cause harm.
- a 5v 1A charger on a phone 5V 2A, will just mean it will charge half as fast...
- just like when you plug your phone to computer USB port, it charges at 5V 500mAh (0.5A), hence why it charges slowly
Useful info for everyone.

Regarding slow charging

Yesterday got honor view 10 (indian unit) and facing slow charging problems. It took almost 3hrs to charge 32% to 100% with supply charger (max 9v/2a). The software version is BKL-L09 8.0.0.140(C675) with February security patch. Ampere app show max 720ma charing rate but lock screen show fast charging letters. Anyone facing same slow charging problem or I got defective unit. If any solution it would be very helpful.
At least for our German Devices, the Charger uses 4,5V @ 5 A, 5V @ 4,5A or 5V @ 2A. Maybe they included a wrong charger? Also make sure you are using the original charging cable, they have resistors on the datalines to tell the charger and the device how much current should be supplied.

Well, i don't have an usb amp-meter, so i cannot check my charging speeds. Honor 8 Supply (9V) and supercharge (5V) are both recognized differently by the phone and probably handled seperately. at a first glance, both supplys seem to work fine with my device.

And noticed right away that now IT DETECT my QC 3.0 battery pack charger as Fast Charge (Two Thunder Icon Appear) and it charge with High Current,
Someone who already on .152 and have QC 3.0 charger in their belonging might want to test it as well.
But anyway, this is good addition for me. Since now i can have one battery pack to fast charging all my phones.

By "wall quick charger" is it QC 3.0 ? Or 2.0 or standard fast charger ?
Because this phone wasn't meant to support QC standard to begin with, and supposed only work with Huawei Proprietary Supercharge technology, thats why i quite surprise when it now show it as fast charging when am using my QC 3.0 charger.
How many Thunder icon you see next to the battery when you charge ?

Not to burst the bubble but fast charge through Huawei's own charge gives up to 4.5A, yours only gets 2.5A and that's not fast charge but possible quick charge that Qualcomm uses.

Yes, that i know. LoL
but prior to this, even using QC 3.0 charger will only give me less than 2A, since it only act as normal fast charging,
so, this might be not doing any miracle,
but at least now i know my QC charger will fast my phone faster than it previously does.

That calculation on the screen is innacurate for most of the time. Because it fluctuate often.
And since his battery is on 70 its normal that the charger doesnt supply full current/volt,
That just how it designed.
And you are right,
For most of the case, our phone will be fully charged in around 2 Hrs using supplied charger
Stock Huawei charger includes both supercharged capable adapter, and cable (look for purple ends)
Outputs 2A, 5A, 4.5A
Uhmm that's interesting.
I resumed my old powerbank I used for my old nexus 6p, it's a Tronsmart and it claims to be QC 3.0
Fast charge was working with 6p, I plugged in the p20 pro and I don't get your results.
I'm on c636 152, charge is still normal.
I don't know if the powerbank lies, or the cables, but I tried different ones.

Is Power Delivery Supported?

Does this model support power delivery like the Pro model? If so has anyone tested how many watts it pulls from a power delivery charger? Oneplus states the pro model supports 5V/3A power delivery which I believe is 15watts.

you are uninformed. in addition to Warp, the 7p supports PD upto 3a with screen off. Android police confirmed this in their review.
OP is asking if 7 also supports this.
I have not measured charging speeds, etc. but I have a bunch of official Google PD bricks here for my 2XL and my OP7 charges just as fast, if not faster, than my Pixel. Just anecdotal but I was happy with charging performance.
I've charged my OnePlus 7 from 14% to 100% in about 1h and 15min. I call that really fast charging.

Like I sad, it will be 1A, maybe for the first 50% 1.5A, because with 3A a lot will not pay the extra bucks for Dash charger.
Pro: 5V/6A - 3A
Non-Pro: 5V/4A - 3A? No way... with luck maybe 2A
I will get my OP7 next week and I can test it but I'm sure you will get up to 1.5A
I've charged it with a power bank from Huawei, with fast charge and it charged pretty quick. I haven't look at the time it took, but next time I will.

So you are saying:
OP7 Pro supports USB 3.1, USB PD protocol to 3A, and Warp-protocol to 6A
OP7 supports USB 3.1, Dash-protocol to 4A, but NOT USB-PD?
Please do test it- to confirm, you must have 1. screen off 2. a USB power meter that can measure the draw (or an app that can record the draw while the screen is off- viewing current while in app will not work since it only works with screen off.
There seems to be a lot of people who don't understand what USB-PD is. Of course, if you use a normal USB charger that is neither Dash/Warp nor USB PD, it will not draw more than 1.5A.

Dude, USB-PD means USB Power Delivery. How somebody can not understand what this mean?
Oppo slow it down to sell VOOC/Dash charger (and cable) in the kernel, like on the OnePlus devices before.
When the OP7 support 3A, with 5V, you will get 15W, which is almost QC 3.0, so you can get 5 charger and any cable you want for the same price as a Dash charger. There is no way!
So I've tried today charging with my power bank, a HUAWEI 10000mAh QuickCharge power bank, from 1% to 100% and it took about 2h and 30min. From 15% I think it would take about 2h to charge. Power bank fast charging is rated at 9V 2A 18W. With Ampere it was showing to chager at about 1.3-1.4A. I would say it's pretty ok, it's not as fast as with the original charger, but it's ok.

That is not a USB-PD bank. It'll charge at 1.5A tops with that. Our phones can't do QuickCharge.
Do the same test if you can, but use a USB-PD charger and screen off.
This thread is about getting a confirmation that it can regulate with USB-PD upto 3A when the screen is off. Our phones will not support QuickCharge or any other proprietary protocol.
We know It does Dash/Warp, regular USB upto 1.5A, and now we want to know if it does USB PD.
---------- Post added at 09:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:04 AM ----------
So I caved and finally tested it myself.
Yes, the regular OnePlus 7 does support USB-PD 5v upto 3A with the screen off. With the screen on, I could get 1.94A
I used an Essential PH-1 included charger, which is a USB-PD charger that can do 5V and 9V upto 3A. I went from 60% to 70% in 8 minutes, and used the logkit to capture the current. While on, I was getting a consistent 1.94A, which is higher than a regular USB charger which usually peaks around 1.4-1.5A. With the screen off, I kept the logkit going, and you can see the average is well above 2A (again, this is average- I had the screen on for a while before an after, which is why the average isn't 3A). It's also worth noting this was only from 60-70%.
So yes, like the OP7 Pro, the OP7 also supports USB-PD up to 3A with the screen off, and upto 2A with the screen on, much faster than a regular USB Charge, and ALMOST on-par with Dash Charging with screen off.
So hopefully this puts this thread to rest, and you can feel confident buying a USB-PD brick, and those that doubted it have learned that OnePlus didn't skimp on the USB controller on the regular OP7.
From the graph, you can see the flat line at -3 when the screen was off, and how it bounces "up" to -1.7 when it's on.
Can confirm, used my USB PD charger while away last week. Charge from 5ish% to full was around 2 hours. Much quicker than the old standard Microsoft USB C charger I use at home.
Charge time with PD was similar to that with my old mate 20 pro which showed 'fast charging' to indicate PD being used.

Not charging at 50w

I wonder why I am not getting the promised charging speed of 50w?
With the screen off I am getting 26.99w at most.
With the screen on I am getting around 12w.
I charged my fone at around 35%. I have a hunch the 50w will only kick in from 0% up to a certain percentage.
Anybody here observed similar results?
50 w is just for the beginning, when your battery is almost 0%.
The charger is not 50W flat. The charging power will change depending on the battery charge.

Okay, i had both phones, a OP 8pro (30w charge) and my new Xiaomi 10Pro and compared charging speeds and the Mi10 Pro is much more faster than the OP8 pro, it felt it takes hours until the op8 pro reaches 100%. i dont care about measurements, ampere showed me a peak of ~9500ma at peak on the mi10 pro, no idea about the OP8pro on ampere. My Mi10 pro had a 60w charger but i dont have an usb tester anymore, if the phone got a 100% charge under a hour then everything should fine, isnt?
Maybe your USB tester isn't capable to detect the right power of the charger, as i know these usb testers are only able to count voltages from quick charge (1,2,3...)?? But i can wrong here...

he he, thats a funny thing, trust me ...
i bought the oneplus8 pro at relaese day as popup edition (cases and headphones included) 999€ and i used it for a bit more than one month BUT i never was satisfied at all, i mean there was a lot of camera improvements over time but i couldn't understand the hype about the display and when it comes to battery life i was a bit disappointed. (My former phone was a Huawei P30 pro) I had the feeling the battery was draining faster than normal and as i said, i never felt completely happy with the phone. So last weekend i surfed in the web and found a shop in the city next to me that sold the Xiaomi Mi10 pro so i decided to take a look on the phone. And trust me, i saw the phone in the store, played around a bit and i knew immediately thats the right one. I compared both phones a lot and until today i doesn't regret the decision. The Phone is Top notch in battery, display, performance i miss nothing from the opo8pro and i'm lucky that i sold the phone. All i kept from the oneplus was the WirelessZ Bullets.

I think he is asking to see is it SW bug or HW problem or just a big lie from Xiaomi about how much we should get in real world

My point exactly. Notice i never complained about the charging speed. My issue is Xiaomi advertising this to have 50w charging but we consumers are only getting 25w tops. I am trying to figure out why. Will try to charge with the ampere app.

mine charges with like 50w (45-50w) until about 40% and after that it slows down gradually, which is the expected behavior.
this phone changed the way I use my phone completely! I always charged my devices overnight to 100. but now considering how little it takes to charge this phone I just don't think about charging every time it gets to like 10 I plug it in to 80%.
1% to 80% took 33min, 3502mAh
4% to 80% took 29min, 3227mAh

Did you use a tester to conclude you are getting 45-50w below 40%? If so, may I see it? I am suspecting the low reading could be due to my tester.
True, the charging speed changes the way I use my phone.

yup I have some cheapo china testers
the better one (usb c) shows about 45w when charging
the second one (usb a) only allows quick charge 18w because the 65w xiaomi charger uses a half assed usb 3 port (one pin more than usb 2) and
therefore only works if the (usb a) tester also has usb 3 pins. For the same reason if you use a normal usb 2 (usb a to c) cable you won't get 50w
i also tested it again. it charges up to 33% with ~45w and then goes down to ~30w I checked again at arrount 65% it was charging with ~25w. At least these are the values that my tester shows
other values (charge % , time, mAh) in my previous post were readings from the phone itself.

My usb tester is exactly the first photo. Since I got my unit used, it might not have the original cable.
Would you be kind enough to check if on the USB A side, where the cable attaches to plug, does it day 3A?
Also, at what amps does it say when the charged is doing 45w?
Thank you

You can see the extra pin by looking down the port
I marked them in the attachments. Basically it's one of the 5 extra pins that usb 3 uses.
Sorry I have to check again later for the exact amperage, just charged my device. This time i checked the percentage and it charged to 41% with 45w. The deciding logic is probably more complicated than just a percentage.
Edit: added a photo with the exact charge info
the reason u r not getting 50w is bcos u put a meter between the charger and the cable... in order for xiaomi to draw out 50w from usba they put in a small microchip inside the cable to trigger the 50w quick change. if u look into the usb cable u will see extra pin in the middle of the cable, this pin work with the microchip to trigger the 50w quick charge.
solution:
1. always use original cable come with the mi10pro phone.
2. dont plug anything between the cable and charger.
3. if u want to test charging speed with meter, use type-c to type-c meter.
FYi, xiaomi 50w is using 10v 5a.
The phone heats up to 43 degrees during fast charging.
