I meet the following problem. Randomly it goes out while I'm driving my vehicle and I have to stop to switch off the ignition and then restart ?
Off course is when I use my GPS (Waze) and it's boring.
MCU : MTCE_HA_V3.71_1
Build : rk3399-userdebug 10
I hope your help and I would like to know if this problem is frequent.

For the volkswagen concern up to 2009, this error is caused by the old gateway, it must be replayed. If you have a canbus decoder connected, it may be faulty, try to test the radio without it, preferably on a source on the table. Overheating can also occur, measure the temperature of the processor under load, if it gets too hot, replace the paste on the cooling plate, or add a passive or active cooler. Disassemble the device and check the connections and seating of the processor board. Or try updating the MCU and firmware. There may be more, you have a long way to go.

Hi there,
I buyed a xtrons px5 head unit for Opel, I installed malaysk firmware 2.0 for further customizations. Unit is running almost fine. Had some overheating issues after long driving with navigation. Dont want to open and add heatsink because losing warranty.
One big annoying problem is USB Permissions Message when using USB CAN Adapter with Torque. Every boot or wake-up from standby unit asking me again for USB persmission for canbus adapter, even if I tap use by default.
Does anyone know how to fix that?
Xtrons now selling units with Android 8.1, what the ****? New hardware? No update for existing px5 units?
My dashcam from xtrons (UCam china chipset) displays wrong speed and perhaps wrong position. My friend with stock firmware has same problem, any fix for that?

Hey, i have a wondefoo PX-5 Android Headunit 8.0, everything was working great but someday suddendly the WIFI didn't turn on (when turning the car on).
Since then, every now and then the WIFI won't turn on after the car was shut down, the problem is solved only if I restart the HeadUnit several times until the WIFI will come on.
I tried searching online but didn't find a problem as close to mine.. The WIFI does work but as I said only if I restart the HeadUnit.
When it's not working i just try to "flick" the switch from the OFF to ON position and it automatically returns to OFF (won't stay on the ON position for even a second).

I have a Dicola android 8.0 PX5 4GB/32GB head unit for my Audi A3.
I have the same problem as you discribe. The seller advised me to update the device but that had no effect.
I saw on Google more problems with those PX5 units. I seems to be the Wifi/BT module what causses the defect. Especially the low tempeture could cuase the defect. Not sure if this is the case but you are not the only one.

I have a problem with my eonon (klyde) px3 unit. Ever since I bought it, I have had a problem with usb ports.
When I use the USB dashcam and activate it, or when I use the USB flash disks from the speakers to listen to an electronic hiss, like electronic processing noise.. :crying:
If I turn the volume down to 0 the noise ends.
I tried to solve it like this:
- I replaced with new mtcd / mtce,
- I updated to the latest mcu version
- I flash mcu modified by wadzio( the audio sound is better, but the problem remains.)
- Eonon obviously tells me that it is normal to lower AMP to - 20 but the problem remains the same.
- I connected the chassis of the unit to the ground of the machine.
- I connected a 12v filter that is used in the car units of a good audio brand, to eliminate the hiss of the engine and alternator
Neither of these things solved the problems
Do you know if it is possible to install resistors, capacitors, or solve the problem with me or try to find it? Thanks
You are correct that the problem is a hardware issue and not software.
I dont own this variant, but willing to help - if I can get a unit sent to me, I could attempt to find root cause and develop a fix that could then be shared with the community.

I have already changed the mtcd cardboard but nothing ..
- The problem is I have the px3 coreboard,
- Display management motherboard that interferes mtcd board,
- Mtcd motherboard badly designed

I receive my new Android Head Unit. I had before a Intel Sofia 3GR Android Head Unit which worked (but so slow...).
I encountered some problems or bugs since I have it (Firmware : HA3_rk3399_10.0_ota(20210419) and MCU : 3.75) :
-CAN bus not fully decoded :
I have a VW car and on my last HU, I had no problems with steering wheels control, radar sensors on reverse, opened doors, A/C info and vehicle info. Since the new one, steering wheels controls works, but the others things no.
-Spotify App Crash :
When I open the app, it loads, and after a big noise come and the HU restart (cold boot restart)
-GPS Disconnection :
Sometimes, the GPS loose the signal and no possibilities to recover it (except a reboot of the HU)
Do you have any idea for these problems ?

For the moment he tried to correct the problem.
He asked me to try factory reset, plug and unplug the CAN BUS, go to factory settings and switch off/On and change the type of the CAN BUS. None of them works.
Yo maybe someone can help me
I bought a Android Head unit widths Canbus
I installed everything and it goes on everything fine
But after around 10 Minutes of Driving the Head Unit just turns Off
I removed the Canbus and now it just in Standby Mode 24/7 so that isn’t the solution cause it’s draining the Battery
What could be the issue?
