aight, so in my phone settings I am able to toggle the "OEM unlocking" I then ran the command "fastboot oem get_unlock_data" and I got these numbers: 3A55651301693678#5A593232374E32515358006D6F746F207A340000#2D4A54EDF01DEE17D9D801B3519F22685E90D8F8#342AE0BD000000000000000000000000
I entered the numbers into Motorola's checker and it said 2 times " If the Device ID you entered is valid, you will see a Request Unlock Key button. " I in fact saw the button, I click on it and then it redirected me to a page saying "Phone blocked This device is not eligible for bootloader unlock." I don't understand this, I am able to toggle the setting in my phone.
perhaps there is a different way to get the unlock key?
any help is greatly appreciated!
@Villagerjj Any luck with this? I'm in the same boat.

Hi, my uncle bought for him an android device from a china shop ( joom ), 2 days ago it arrived.
immediately I noticed some oddities, at the first start it was all pre-installed, random ads popping up while using the device and doing a hard reset the result was the same (I didn't have the android setup screen).
In the settings, the Android version is 9.1, but both from the UI and from the recovery you can see that the real version is Android 6, from the recovery I also noticed that the build is MRA58K.
I then tried to unlock the bootloader by selecting "OEM unlock" in the settings, entering the fastboot mode, and writing "fastboot oem unlock" in the terminal, I selected "yes" on the device, as the output of the terminal I received an ok after about 7 seconds but going to reboot the phone nothing happened, and checking the details with "fastboot getvar all" known that the bootloader is still locked.
the device has the name "mata30 pro"
not being an expert in this area I ask you if it is possible to do something or I should simply throw this device, thank you
I have an unlocked Samsung S21. I have a question about the missing OEM. How can I get into bootloader mode if OEM is missing...? Is it locked out...? Every time I click "enter" for Bootloader it simply reboots back to normal mode and I do have my S21 plugged into my laptop. What am I missing?
Once phone's bootloader got successfully unlocked it should be obvious that the "OEM unlock" option is no longer avaiable to you.
Have tmobile oneplus 8 and when trying to unlock with the cust-unlock command it gives me an error as shown in the image attached. made sure that the oem unlocking switch is enabled in the settings
This only happens when you didn't enable OEM unlocking, I know you said you did, but I'd double check. Boot the phone up, go to Settings -> About phone and tap "build number" a bunch of times til the message pops up.
Than go to Settings -> System -> Developer options and enable OEM Unlocking.
Then repeat the same steps in fastboot to unlock.
Restarted my phone turned it off. Then restarted again and turned it on. And still no luck

Are you on stock T-Mo firmware, and have taken all OTA updates? I saw you said in another thread that after using MSM tool "the software update button is greyed out in the settings". If that's still the case...well it shouldn't be lol. I would MSM again back to OOS10, than immedietly try booting the phone up enabling OEM unlocking and try to unlock the bootloader again.

Yeah. The button was greyed out but my phone still installed an update. Gonna try to use msm again and see
Curious if you found a solution to this one? Been fighting a similar situation, not the MSM tool just but the unwillingness to let me run the unlock bin token.
Hello beautiful people of the internet!
I am in dire need of some help - today's morning I did the unthinkable and locked myself out of my phone once again, only this time I'm clueless how to fix what I have broken.
So i tried to lock the bootloader with fastboot oem lock and after I did, I got the "No valid operating system could be found" .
So now I'm stuck without any system to boot and flashing locked, and recovery doesn't exist either.
Is there anything I can do to fix it? I feel like I'm running out of ideas at this point.....
Thanks in advance!
The way to recover it is to flash it with an octuplus type box or another similar one. This can be done remotely, something similar happened to me with an LG and a Ukrainian repaired it for 10 or 15 dollars. Ask in the telegram group in case they know someone
I've been struggling to get mine working again, I'm at the point I need to remove an EM shield to pull a specific pin to ground to get to EDL mode...
Did you disable "OEM Unlock" in the Android developers settings? If you didn't, and since it's a Motorola, you can unlock your bootloader again with fastboot oem unlock <UNIQUE_CODE>.
(Side-note, it is a wonder why it's at all possible to lock the bootloader again without making sure "OEM Unlock" is enabled in case something goes horribly wrong and you can't do anything anymore with perfectly working hardware, forcing people to get to EDL mode, mode that is made less and less accessible over time. "OEM Unlock" should never be allowed to be turned off if the bootloader is unlocked.)
Pretty sure your problems are stemming from the use of fastboot oem lock, instead of fastboot flashing lock...
You can relock the bootloader, but only with fastboot flashing lock, as far as i know.
The moral of (my) story is, dont unlock if you want to relock later, the forum is littered with similar cases to this one sadly.
Hello, my mate gave me G900NVM (firmware G900NVM20n) with not working Google Pay and CTS profile match fail in SafetyNet test. As much as I know it's cause of unlocked bootloader. So I tried to enter fastboot to check oem lock status, but I can't get into it, when I'm typing "adb reboot bootloader" that phone just rebooting. Also I can't get into it through recovery, cause there is literally only dead robot icon. Is there any other way to get there?
If you are talking about G900VM from Verizon, the phone fails CTS matching even without unlocked bootloader. I believe LG engineering took a shortcut and never certified their firmware with Google.
