Hello, recently I purchase the Google pixel 6a, and I can't connect to my TocWatch clock. It doesn't appear on Bluetooth devices.. on other phones yes.
Some ideas?

You will need to reset your device first, the watch.

This is what worked for me-- I have TicWatch 3 Pro and 3 Pro Ultra. Both required resets. Still an issue getting one of my AmEx cards (the one I use the most!) back on WearOS G Wallet. Hopefully, Google support re-issues tokens or whatever they do. AmEx says no issue on their end.
Thanks! Solved with a reset

I am wondering if the Google Pixel Buds will be fully functional with the S8+? Specifically the real time translation function. It looks like it only requires a Bluetooth connection and google assistant installed so I would assume it will work with phones other than the Pixel 2. I wouldn't put it past Google to lock it to their flagship device. Anyone know anything?
I'm sure I read the real time translation would work with any device running Nougat and above.

Only Pixel and Pixel 2 will work with that. Everything else works on all modern Android phones.

Bummer
Got a source for that? I can't find anything to suggest the translation will/won't work with non pixel devices.

"¹The Google Assistant on Google Pixel Buds is only available on Android and requires an Assistant-enabled Android device and data connection. Data rates may apply. For available Assistant languages and minimum requirements go to g.co/pixelbuds/help. Requires a Google Account for full access to features. Google Translate on Google Pixel Buds is only available on Pixel."

Thanks all. Hopefully this is something that they back track on and allow it to be used on other devices.
Until then.... anyone know of someone who might be planning on porting it to the S8? I know its a bit soon.
Hi,
I've got a friend with a Polar V800 watch and since she's got her Pixel 3 she's never been able to keep it paired. She never had any issues with her old Sony Android and she's not sure on any potential work-arounds. She's removed the pairing, cleared the cache and removed/re-installed the app with no joy.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
James

Apparently it's a known issue. I have the same problem, v800 with Pixel 3XL. More info here: support.polar.com/en/android-compatibility-notice

Michal,
You got wrong answers.
I have a Watch Active 2 and:
1) Pairing works if you have Google Serv but it often disconnect without reason.
2) NFC payments does not work, both for phone and watch because the P40 Pro isn't certified for Safety Net.
Hope to have made your day for real lol
Ciao

I guess you jumped the shark, he didn't ask about nfc payments, he asked about pairing and connecting which the watch does with GMS. I haven't had it disconnect without me moving physically away from my phone on both my galaxy watch and watch active. YMMV
Ops! Ok, hope this further information will be useful. Ciao!
In two or three days I will check myself.
I have never tried NFC payments with my watch - always with a phone, so it is not crucial for me.
The banking application is already in AppGallery so this should be fine
Im interested in this, be curious to see if it works as it runs off wear OS

This wath is based on Samsung's Tizen
The watch is working fine.
I was able to install all required samsung apps (nothing to do external, all within galaxy wear , download and install watch faces, get most alarms, calls, messages etc.
Of course there is a problem with apps not working properly with GMS, so some apps do not send notification, but it is not a watch problem. I will try with icebox.
will Samsung pay from the watch work? anyone tried?

I tested galaxy wearable even before installing GMS. And it worked like a charm.
I was just wondering about a P40 for my wife. however, she is terribly attached to her Galaxy watch, from what I read they will boldly cooperate?
Or there is to much issues ? She's a-technological so I'd rather avoid unnecessary stress for her . or better if I buy P30 with Android certificated?
How did you guys get your Active 2 to pair with Wearables?
My P40 Pro keeps trying to pair, gives me a pin but on the Active 2, I don't get a chance to enter a pin.
Running GMS as well.
HSM on second device Worked well

I do own Huawei P30 Pro and Huawei P40 Pro.
Suppose my galaxy watch connect new phone the old device keep for Google Certificated NFC.
Good Luck!
I'm currently using my galaxy watch active with my p40 pro stock fully.
I don't have GMS installed.
Everything works fine with me. Any notification issues are almost always linked to the battery optimization settings on the phone.
Overall very good experience.
Though Samsung pay doesn't work in my country so can't comment there.

Please don't get your wife a p40 pro unless the only apps she uses are in the app gallery.
You need to get her something that doesn't need any workarounds to fully function as she expects it.
Just a recommendation and my opinion .
Maybe look at a Pixel 5 or a Galaxy FE
apple watch doesn't compare to anything!
If the latest version of Samsung Health is installed on the mobile phone, the health data cable of the watch cannot be synchronized. Only the version 6.21.2.007 in March can be installed to synchronize normally. The Samsung Health on the mobile phone has been updated several times, but this problem has not been solved.
No issues here... all apps up to date. You may want to (re-)check the permissions on GW4- and your phone - Apps.

I found in Chinese forums that many people have this problem. At the same time, there is also the problem of measuring body fat rate. When it detects 90%, it will prompt failure.

Seems correct behaviour to me: 90% body fat rate is only realistic for a slice of bacon...
Hi all
So those in the UK using Starling Bank app on 7 Pro, do you have issue with no notifications?
When I install the app it defaults to no notification permission so I enable it and turn off battery optimisation but still get zero notifications.
This is only app with problem and multiple re install and even a full wipe and re flash firmware did not solve it.
Wondering if I need to get it replaced as Starling says they not aware of any issues on the app.

I think that your Bank that you need to contact for explain your problem.
That's not come from your phone Pixel 7pro.

I want to find out if other users have same issue as this is working on Pixel 6 Pro. Only on 7 Pro it does not work.

They likely need to update their app for the Pixel 7/Pro. If other apps send you notifications just fine, then the problem is with their app, not the phone.
Notifications have worked fine for me on the pixel 7 pro for starling bank. I transferred from a pixel 6a which was working fine also.

hmm when you installed it did it ask for notification permissions?
if it works for you then the app does not need fixing so faulty phone is only other thing it could be.
