Hey guys I have an imei patched op8 Verizon version. Can I upgrade this phone into a dual sim with a new sim jacket?
Can oneplus 8 verizon version be converted to dual sim using dual sim jacket. A friend got his fine but he has the t mobile version. So you think it can be done with the Verizon one?

NO. Because OP8 Verizon has different Modem. You cannot Convert it to dual sim.

Newer vzw phones don't actually have a sim lock. You just need to put the new sim in, and add APN info. Not sure if this is the case with the gs3.
I'm using a vzw phone in Spain right now.. Didn't do anything to it.. Inserted new sim, added APN.

For future reference, VZW gs3 works fine with a tmo sim, just add apn's for your carrier, as stated above.

I purchased a sprint locked phone in USA and got it unlocked.
The phone is working with sim of another domestic carriers (USA) but not working with international sim card (India).
Can you please give me any directions on what to do?
Samsung is asking me to contact sprint and sprint says that they have unlocked it domestically and internationally as well and not able to provide any other support.

Is it asking for a code on inserting Indian SIM? if so, it's not unlocked.. check ebay remote unlock method for abt 7-10usd.
If it's not asking for a code, Try to toggle aeroplane mode and see.
Or try flashing U1 firmware (unlocked model version)
it is not asking for any unlock code while entering Indian SIM card.
however, there is no signal if I insert indian SIM (tried Airtel and Jio so far). These sim are working in other cellphones.

I called to HTC support and I give IMEI for check and answer was "this model is without Dual SIM"
So I have a question. It is possible upgrade firmware (ROM) from phone with DS? It will work? I think but i'm not sure, that phisicaly dual sim slot is, so different is only firmware.

You are only able to update your HTC U12+ with the firmware that it was designed for.
What lead you to believe that it was a Dual SIM model? Do you know what variant you have? The variants all have different MID (Model ID) numbers:
htc_imedugl: 2Q5510000, EMEA/Aisa TW/RUS/SEA India Dual-SIM
htc_imedtwl: 2Q5530000, CHINA, Dual-SIM
htc_imeuhl: 2Q5520000, EMEA/US Unlocked, Single-SIM
Mine, for example is htc_imedugl: 2Q5510000, EMEA/Aisa TW/RUS/SEA India Dual-SIM.
Where did you buy it? Was it a US Unlocked model, or from another country? To my knowledge, the only Single SIM variant is htc_imeuhl: 2Q5520000, EMEA/US Unlocked, Single-SIM.
I also do not believe that the Dual SIM models only work because of different Firmware. There is also Hardware that is at play.
I will say that if you try to run any of the RUU's that do match your phone, the software will fail and give you the proper error code.
I've a oneplus 7 pro 5g sim unlocked that I've been using for over a year now, I've read threads about converting the firmware to the global unlocked version, but the threads I read do not seem to have instructions about whether it will work on an already sim unlocked oneplus phone.
Can anyone point me to a thread or guide me if it's possible?
