Hi everyone.. I need help.. I have galaxy s3 verizon running android 4.4.2. I want to unlock it for any GSM network all I found is for android 4.1.2 or below Kitkat and unable to find any solution for Kitkat 4.4.2. Please help me to unlock my phone to use any sim.
Newer vzw phones don't actually have a sim lock. You just need to put the new sim in, and add APN info. Not sure if this is the case with the gs3.
I'm using a vzw phone in Spain right now.. Didn't do anything to it.. Inserted new sim, added APN.

For future reference, VZW gs3 works fine with a tmo sim, just add apn's for your carrier, as stated above.

Hi. I am from India. Updated my Samsung Nexus S by 4.1.2. After update, I lost My Sim Toolkit in Menu. I am using easy sim(retailer sim). For me, Sim toolkit (Easy Recharge) only make recharges. I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S5 (AT&T) with cricket. Since the phone works flawlessly with just the cricket SIM in the phone. I had no reason to get it unlocked or had to change any internal apn settings. My question is with it being an AT&T phone using a cricket SIM card for service will it be able to receive OTA firmware updates? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have a m8 verizon, I do not rooted my phone yet, I mean this has the original rom, I'm on South America, and I can't update because I use a different phone operator, my question is If I buy a prepaid verizon sim card, can I put it into the phone and update via wireless?

Hello guys i'm new here and did look for my problem but didn't find much
i brought a galaxy S5 sprint G900P the guy that sold it to me told me it was a non-contract phone
i check the imei back then and it was clean even though i coudn't activate it.
...still i used SSU to unlock the sim on 4.4.2
i wanted today to update to the 5.0 version i checked the imei again just by luck and i found it fraudlent and activation blocked --
my question is can i update to 5.0 will it be okey or will it get blocked and will i be able to use the sim with ssu or Galaxt Tools.
i live outside the US.
