Question Google Phone Visual VM on Fi - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

I'm trying to get visual VM and VM to text working on the Google Phone app but I can't get the options to pop up in settings. All VM apps have been removed.
It shows for a split second when I tap on Voicemail in settings and it shows Visual VM and transcription is turned on and I got a screenshot of it here (see screen recording)
I get a notification with the VM to text and can read it there (see screenshot) but can't access it through the app when I tap on the notification (see screen recording)
I bought the phone through Fi.
Any suggestions?

Bigger font for incoming sms preview?

Anyone know whether we can change the font for the preview of incoming SMS?
Look for software called ZoomSMS. It was invented for Eten devices but works well on HTC phones as well.
ZoomSms don't preview automatically...
Of course it does.
i have got a copy and tried...but there is no option to preview.
it will show an icon on the screen and you will have to tap on it
to open the preview of the SMS.
and do u happen to know..how to get rid of the icon and its system
tray shortcut?
thanks..
Look in the phone settings (when you tap on antenna icon, go settings). Check all the tabs there.
thank i manage to hide the tray but still no option to preview Sms
upon receiving. Still need to tap on the mail icon to read the Sms.

Visual Voicemail - VM indicator

I notice with my phone after deleting VM via VVM app the new VM indicator notification will not clear without a soft reset. Anyone else experiencing this?
Its a bug in the verizon visual voicemail software.
Annoying to say the least.
This"Bug" only happens to the phone if your applied the txt message notification fix/cab. That icon bothered me mor than the txt msg sent notification so I went back to the standard settings on the phone. You can now click on the individual vm notifications and dismiss them. I assume you both have installed that cab. Maybe there is a way to get rid of the txt msg sent without messing with the other notification.

[Q] Voicemail notification icon will not go away [US T-mobile]

Got the sensation not too long ago. All of the sudden yesterday I received VM and after checking it and deleting it the voicemail notification icon would not go away from the notification bar.
I've cleared out everything in voicemail, rebooted - it wont' go away.
Anyone else have this problem?
I did a search and there was on hit for this happening but it was with a different phone and different carrier.
settings > call > clear voicemail notification
"settings > call > clear voicemail notification" works for me to clear the voicemail indicator, but the indicator gets stuck every time I get a new voicemail. I can always go and clear it via this menu, but it does not go away itself. Also, I've seen at least once now when I get a voicemail, but no indicator.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

(Solved) Advanced messaging support on T-Mobile

Looks like G5 should support advanced messaging feature on T-Mobile. I had few Samsung phones that had some settings in the messaging app. G5 for some reason doesn't have any settings in messaging app that would point to advanced messaging. I texted my friend who has Galaxy S8, who is also on the same network. He can see when I type a message, but I don't see when he types. Looks like it could be working half way for some reason.
I noticed that on T-Mobile's support page, one of the older updates has: Advanced messaging issue fixed (Software version H83010d)
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30673
What works at the moment:
1) VoLTE
2) Video calling
3) Band 12 support
4) WiFi Calling
5) HD Voice
My phone supposedly has the latest software of H83020i with April security patch.
Use these steps to set up and use SMS / MMS messages with Advanced messaging on the LG G5.
Change advanced messaging settings
Tap Messaging.
Tap Menu > Settings.
Tap More.
Change settings for Text messages or Multimedia messages as desired.
https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-30606
It probably won't work with all 3rd party text apps. For instance I use an older version of Handcent (I'm not giving it up!!! Screw you, crappy update!) and it has a built in 1MB limit for photos. But that's an app limitation, not a phone limitation. It still sends an image, but it reduces the size. It also won't support the "see that the other person is typing a message" thing.
But again..app limitation.

I have seen the above doc from T-Mobile and there are no settings about advanced messaging of any kind. I am using stock messages app that was on the phone. As I understand, it should just work, if there are no other visible to the user settings. On Samsung for example, there are chat settings options in the messaging app.
It started working: I went to recovery and wiped cache, then restarted the phone. Advanced messaging options appeared in the app's settings.

No dialer screen during incoming call with unlocked phone (OOS11 update)

When the phone is asleep and someone is calling, it is all ok. So just like in the screenshot number 1
The incoming dialer appears normally.
However, when he unlocks the phone and the desktop is displayed, when someone calls us, the incoming call dialer does not appear. It is like in screen number 2. There is only a bar with "Reject /" Receive "call notification
This notification pops up after 3-4 seconds of delay from the ringer
This happens on every phone app.
Actions taken:
- Removal of application data
- Cache removal
- Reinstallation
- Disabling the system dialer and installing another (Google Phone)
- Setting of notifications and appropriate selection
- All permissions granted
- Proven "Do not disturb" mode
The whole problem arose after the OSS11 Stable EU update
Nothing helps
Anyone have any idea?
