note 20 ultra downgrade 12 to 10 - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

I have a question, if i downgrade my note 20 ultra from android 12 to android 10 via ODIN..do i need to unlock my phone or bootloader for me to succeed ?

You can't downgrade because of bootloader version. If I'm correct then Android 10 version comes with Bootloader version 1, but now latest Android 12 Bootloader versions is 4.

Difficult question. If you have USA variant then you can't unlock with bootloaders from v2.

That means you have a android 6 bootloader so you will have to find a android 5 one to flash android 5 roms

didnt work
Far as I know, since MM Samsung has added an option so downgrade to not be possible anymore. sbot error means that the bootloader you're trying to use is older than the one on your phone.
I don't know if you can downgrade, but search here as maybe somebody had found a way to do this
There is currently no way to downgrade to 5.1.1 if you're on newer mm firmware, the Bootloader will stop you from downgrading.

no because ur bootloader will block it cuz ur bootloader is a higher version than nougat
I thought maybe there is a nougat firmware with the new bootloader like the S7 \S7 edge has
You can only down grade to N if you did not flash bootloader.
I skip flashing bootloader and have went back to N
Personally I lost too much going to Oreo.
the was an ota update so I guess the bootloader has been updated

USA ( U and U1 ) don't have the ability to have the bootloader unlocked.
You are also try to down grade you firmware. You will need a version 6 ( bootloader version ). Bootloader version is the 5th number from the right of firmware ( baseband ).

I don't have a Snapdragon variant
Having not to have the bootloader unlock will limit you to rooting solutions.
You can not down grade you bootloader version number.
Have a look at the s8+ rom section under jrkruse threads and may be ask you question there.

Relationship between bootloader and Android version

Is there a link between the Bootloader version and the Android version?
If I update my phone to the latest android version will this update my Bootloader to the latest version also?
Or they are completely independent from each other?
There is no link. Bootloader originates from the OEM on the device and will not get updated.

wanna upgrade to latest version

some days ago i have downgraded to android 10 realmeUI1.0 C.15 from android 11 realmeUI 2.0 F.03 for unlocking bootloader.now i have unlocked bootloader amd didn't install any recovery and custom rom.still I'm in android 10 with unlocked bootloader.
Now i want to upgrade my device to latest android 11 realmeUI 2.0 F.03
now how can i update?is there any restriction to upgrade again for downgraded users?
an update is showing in updater app.
now what should i do? should i upgrade directly through updater?
