Why have you spammed with essentially the same info on the same topic 3 times?

This is my result...
SM-R860
Firmware Version:
FVD4 crap
Seems not working for me...
Will test later again if maybe my fault...
Best Regards

What's your csc version?? Mine was R870OXM1FCV8(multiple csc version)

FVC8 is older as FVD4...
Maybe user with FVC8 can confirm working or not...
According to Google search this Code is since Tizen...

One more warning
No s/w OTA updates after change of csc. You would remain on present version. No upgrades

Didn't work for me samsung galaxy watch 4 classic model SM-R890.

Highly recommend you do NOT do this

Thanks for the update friend. My model is SM-R860 from Korea. Bluetooth version. Tried again but still it doesn't work.

If maybe this work on Device for India...
So IMHO INU is CSC
Example...
http://fota-cloud-dn.ospserver.net/firmware/INU/SM-R860/version.xml
OXM is NO active CSC...
I will try to investigate why Code *#0808# is blocked by active CSC DBT...
Maybe similar magic to your Code...

How to Root Samsung Galaxy A9 ( A9000 )

I bought my Galaxy A9 in China ( I work here ) and as you may know Google apps are not already installed on Chinese phones and I need to root and flash Google Apps.
The problem is as this phone is too new, I can't find any ways to root it. I tried Kingroot, Framaroot....but all fail. I have unlocked phone via CROM. Any idea how I can root this beast?
Try to flash with A9 Hongkong Rom
Try Root Unlocker Pro .. Search In Google and You May Find It
Wait for CF Auto-Root to support your phone. SM-A9000?
Sent from my GT-I9500
Anyone heard anymore?
Don't brick your phone while still too new. As KrasCGQ said wait for proper root exploits to be released for the Galaxy A9. I live in Kenya and the A9 hasn't hit our markets yet. I soooo envious to get the A9 more any other device this year....it might not be perfect, but I think it's rock solid for power users, 6' inch 4000mAh is just right! How I hope and pray that we get a dedicated Dev's for the Galaxy A9, it will make the device absolutely AWESOME!!! :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

If you just want get google apps back, just flush HongKong version firmware, I'd just done my own. The latest firmware from HK is 'A9000ZCU1APB3'. BTW, you should get the HK version's PIT files and flush it first, then again the single .tmd firmware file flush with pc odin.

Can you please share HK pit file with me? Thank you!
Due to the still missing possibility to have root access to Samsung A9 I am confronted with a different problem. I switched to the A9 because I broke my other phone. I have no access anymore to my old phone but I still have very up to date backups available on my SD-card ... All my backups I made with Titanium Backup. In order to restore them on my new A9 I unfortunately need root access ...
Does anyone have another idea how to restore my backups without root access or do I really have to wait until someone finds a possibility to gain root access ...

Hi @alireza.nasibi @Gunmon @kevin.na
The easiest way is to use SamFirm and download TGY firmware via that application.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
Here is what should you input to download latest firmware for now together with pit file.

CSC: A9000ZZH1APB4

PIT file is inside CSC tar.md5 file. Open it with 7-Zip and you'll find a pit file there together with cache.img and hidden.img.
Edit: Sorry for not mention that before.

Update Camera firmware *#34971539#

*#34971539#

You can see that the "phone to cam" options are darker and you can´t select them.
When you click on the first option, the "version check" you can see that it isn´t updated
The phone versions are newer than the ones written on the Camera.
Other versiones just need to add a small file called 1q2w3e4r.key to the main memory and then the options to write the new version can be selected without root or any mod, but with this one doesn´t work this way.
Anyone know a way to do it?
I have the same data.
Maybe there is a rom that let you write the firmware... some kind of developer rom
Any idea?
I also have this problem with my S6 but I couldn't do anything until now ..maybe some clever guys can help us
I have (still) not rooted or modified my phone and my camera fw is like yours not the same like the phone fw. i dont think its a bug...

Hope so!
With my old s5 it only works with one ROM and a file, but I don't find any for this
I upgraded the firmware and now I have a newer firmware on the phone but the camera still with the original one..
Any idea on this?
Pay attention to LOAD. That's the one that the phone's camera is using. Days of updating camera firmware are over, for the past few years. No need anymore.

So why isn't the same?
On the S3 and S5 it was exactly the same and when you added the correct files and you updated it appears the same on Cam ver. Load ver. and Phone ver.

Also when I add to the phone memory this small file I talked about this is what is happens...
It says: "Update firmware" and the option now appears in dark grey like the others.
The problem is that I don't have the files on the same folder so I can't select the other options and when I say yes to this popup I have to wait few minutes and any update appears.
I think I have the camera firmware files found.
The files are probably stored in:
/system/vendor/firmware
or
/vendor/firmware
In Samsung Stock ROM's.
When I copy the files (include key file) into the root of the internal SD, but they are not recognized.
The both firmware write menus remain dark gray.
Probably the sensor matching files must be identified and renamed.
Sorry for my bad English.

Great!! I think they are the firmware files too!!
I tried but happens the same, maybe we need other rom or a rooted phone.
Hope someone else try it and works to tell us how to do it.
We are in progress!
In older GALAXY models you had to rename the firmware file accordingly.
Only then they were recognized by the system.
One must also choose the correct matching built for the sensor.

Back when these phones were released, you had only cam version and phone version. Which is why we were all on neverending quest to make them same.
Subsequently they have added the load section which compares cam firmware, phone firmware (which is deposited by latest system firmware update) and decides to use latest one.
I guess they did not want users flashing different camera firmwares, from different modules, so they beefed up security on later models, as well removed the need for it, in one fell swoop.
Which is why I said for the past few years in my previous comment.

A track can be :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/help/camera-firmware-thread-t2832384
It works the same way that in S5 or S6 if I rename them but when I push the update option after 2 minutes updating it still the same.
I think I don't have the correct files..
Same Problem here, but how did you unlock Default FW Write etc.?
They are greyed out (S6 Edge) and if i use the apk´s from MrFhenix the Camera Test wont work at all.
Could maybe someone Save his apk´s - i think it´s because of incompatibility of Kitkat and MM (i´m on 6.0.1)

You can ungrey it by doing the following
Rename "yoursensor modexxx.bin" to CamFW_Main.bin
Rename "yoursensor modelxxx.bin" to CamFW_Companion.bin
You also have to add an empty file called 1q2w3e4r.key
You can create it with a pc, just create a text file name it like that and add .key to the name, it doesnt need to have anything inside.

Samsung galaxy sm j727p - (boost mobile)

Hey there everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy SM J727P (Boost Mobile) - I am not quite sure what happened; however I sometimes power my phone off by pulling the battery. This time... at the very wrong time or the right time. I am guessing it was doing a system update; however I didn't select that and didn't get a notification.
When I powered it back up, it gave me an error and wouldn't boot.
I since then accidentally pressed some buttons and the screen loaded Android Recovery screen. I would flash it with ODIN however I don't want to lose any data. My SIM Card has my contacts I believe for the most part. I would like to save as much as possible.
Does anyone have any ideas what this error could mean for my data situation? I never once rooted this phone or changed stock ROM.
Here it is: (Also has cracked screen from running it over with my car):

samfrew dot com/model/SM-J727P/
Or try the sammobile site !

Thank you again peter,
I was able to solve this by doing as you said and using the following firmware:
samfrew dot com/download/Galaxy__J7__Perx__/tadn/BST/J727PVPU4BRK4/J727PSPT4BRK4/
NOTE: If you are using Boost Mobile and an American like myself; Don't hesitate using Regional Firmware: (BST). It's the Boost Mobile Branding that's the true differential.
I flashed with ODIN revision Current.13 and it worked wonderfully!

Official Call Recorder For Samsung A30 & Other Samsung Devices Without Root.

This is the guide for those samsung phones without an official call recording inbuilt.
Summary:
Its simply a CSC feature. If your phone is originally from another country than India, you may not have an inbuilt call recording.
Samsung has disabled call recording function for most countries. But if you have device from one of the following countries, it should have call recording feature: Thailand (SPay), Vietnam (SPay), India (SPay), Israel, Algeria, Bangladesh, Libya, Egypt, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Tunis. If you'd like to change region, you need to change CSC code of your device.
I tried various call recording app but it all failed and its a hectic process without root. And if i root then it will trip knox and no futher official updates that i can install from the phone.
So the basic is to find the latest above mentioned country specific firmware of the device model and flash it.
Yes you can simply flash the CSC file only but just to be in safe side, i recommend you to flash the whole firmware and factory reset.
Warning:
1: Yes, the device will factory reset if you flash 4 firmware file from updato or sammobile or from anywhere else. So be aware.
2: It will also get FRP lock after the flash. So do signout all of your google and samsung accounts/ or remember them properly .
3: Please flash the latest release of the firmware. The device will not let you flash anything older and there will surely be an error while flashing.
4: Use the latest version of odin which is 3.14.1
I tried this on my A305f which was originally from Dubai. But currently im in Nepal and the phone had no call recording option. Flashed with latest Indian Firmware and inserted both sim. I got what i wanted.

Question Change Activated Id/carrier Id (last csc on the right) with root ?

Hello everyone, I read that it was possible to change the last CSC on the right via the root (because as you know with the S22 when you go to EUX no update because of this last which does not change) However I do not know in which folder to go with root explorer for the change (I went in efs/IMEI but there is only the active CSC not the Activated id) if someone knows how to do I'm a taker.
Thanks in advance
hello
if you are familiar with qcn file , you can find it between NV items 7400 and 15000
Hi @yakapa40 thanks for the answer. Where do you find the QCN file in the root directory and is there a way to edit it ?
Thank in advance
1: with QPST /QFIL/Tools/QCN Backup Restore
2: with a NV items reader writter tool
3: EFS tool
if you are not familiar with these tools take care , you can brick your device and always backup original qcn or NV items files
Hello again, thank you very much for your help. Last question, which of these 3 tools would you recommend to edit my file ?
i have used all for old rooted devices
nv reader is the most simple

Hi @yakapa40 , I think it does not work with recent smartphones (it puts me after connecting the com port and click on read that it has no response from the phone) thank you
have you enable DM port ?
or EDL with twrp
Samsung: Enter *#0808# in dialer, select any USB mode entry containing DM.
Korean models: Enter 3197123580 in dialer, password is either 996412, 776432, 0821.
Certain version of firmwares after 2018 are blocking the access to the hidden menu with the abovementioned code. Currently no solution is known without rooting the phone (correction wanted).
@yakapa40 i activated the qualcomm USB DM option via alliance however I do not see what you mean about the EDL is it mandatory?
I tried on my laptop and the same
Hello @yakapa40 , so you have no solution?
Thanks in advance
1: error with EDL ( it's not for Samsung device )
2: if you want more help to find NV items or qcn file , please we need more informations
( the tool you try which version ( QPST 2.7.xxxx )
screenshoot of *#0808# ( USB settings ) or *#7284# (USB I2C )

@alarme134 Glad you're trying to figure this out but are you sure this happens because the last ID? I saw many people with a different AID in EUX firmware and they still have OTA... At least from factory, without any change by the user.
Also I saw a post in Samsung community with guys from UK having problems to get their S22 configured with Spay because the phone was all EUX and came as a German ISO and they're were not able to get OTA too.. What is supposed to happen in this cases is a background setup depending of the SIM card... So maybe in our cases the setup is not being pushed too...
S22 Ultra Samsung Pay issue - CSC incorrectly locked to Germany
UPDATE: Its now going back to EE. They said they've had a fair few go back for this reason. Not a great start on a new device I'm getting fed up with this issue now. I've had no update at all since last week and the error report has come back to tell me the issue has been resolved and the...

S22 Ultra CSC issue - Can't use Samsung pay because the device is locked to EUX
Can't use Samsung pay because the device is locked to EUX and the application thinks the device is in Germany because of it. Reboots don't work, putting sim back in etc don't work. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Will there be a fix for it?

Hum ... so you say, if i change the CSC, but the last one will stay on the original, i don't get Updates?
Cause i imported an S908E to Austria, it was an STH (Singapure Starhub) device, i changed it to THL, to get rid of the Starhub Apps und get Call Recorder!
hi @tsilva30 , I'm aware of the iso mine is set to my country (France) I even made a YouTube video to change it. however it does not regulate updates because of the latest CSC on which EUX is based. Many operators send phones directly to EUX from the S22, example for orange in France which delivers these phones to EUX/-/EUX/FTM. and the updates are managed by Orange.... but me coming from a CSC Bouygues Telecom (BOG/BOG,BOG/EUX/BOG) when I put in EUX it does not find a correspondence to EUX/-/ EUX/BOG at the level of the update servers since Bouygues has a CSC apart..... So I'm looking to put my last CSC at EUX via the root to find the updates (and get them quickly).
Hi, @MultiCulti it seems to me that this only concerns the EUX CSC
@alarme134
Ah, ok, nah ... i will see it with the next update ... hopefully i get it

I know. I already know that iso don't regulate updates you already told that in other post, that was not my point.
I'm saying that even phones that are coming from factory as original EUX don't get OTA updates if you don't insert a SIM card first to make a background setup for your country.
You can check this affirmation by seeing those posts I attached. So I'm wondering that in our case this setup is not happening too.

Hi there, any news about EUX OTA's or about last ID?
Hello @yakapa40
I'm coming back to you to find out what persistent properties are and if a modification of the value of "persist.sys.prev_activatedid" from BOG to EUX, for example, would make it possible to change it
i don't know , but you can try to change persist.sys.prev_activatedid value
