Why Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G doesn't have 90FPS support in Pubg? And when we'll get support? Somebody knows?

Never would be a good answer in my opinion... there's very few devices that have 90 fps support in PUBG and this most likely won't be one it's not the most powerful

This time it probably isn't tencent's fault... if you try to use 60 fps on PUBG the results are not very good with this processor
personally with a few performance tweaks here and there I could get around 50-55 settings idle and about 40-45 fps normally
idk bro, I have more than 60 fps when I play with config file, without config file I've 40 fps lmao this processor isn't bad, custom config file is ruining game yk?

i didn't use a config... I just used the iUnlocker magisk module which just unlocks the max fps/graphics for a game
running miui eu here with a few tweaks with the fkm app it's not the most smoothest experience ever trying to run pubg at 60 fps especially in intense situations such as final circle
The device never heats up which is great...
but fps stabilization is not the best infact it was worse when i was using a miui Indian rom
Imo poco just made us believe that the 695 would be great and all but it didn't deliver as per our expectations...
can't beat the X3 Pro but then again it had thousand and a half bugs
edit: on the other hand there is one good thing tho... The device will rarely throttle as it doesn't heat up a ton

Just read a review for G5, while its not my cup of tea it does wipe the floor with s7 in gaming due to less throttling and better coding.

It just super annoying
I think the solution will arrive when there is a custom kernel available. Then you will be able to choose which governor to use.
I think we won't have to wait too much...

They just found the one benchmark where the G5 is actually good and build an article around it. I have an xbox one and a ps4 so I couldn't care less about the s7 edge throttling my freecell. Have you even tried the G5? It is fast, the camera is great and that's it. I bought one on Thursday and posted it on Kijiji on Tuesday.
Sent from my SM-G935W8 everything stock...
the point is the Note 5 was the perfect gaming device for me, it the only phone that rank tekken 6 at 60fps on QHD resolution and never get too hot, fps didn't drop at all!!!
After 6.0.1 update it all went to hell, same with S7 and the S7 is capable of much more.
Fake for me because I had z5 and g5 and this device was hotter then s7 edge check YouTube g5 going to 46 Celsius degree s7 edge max to 40 and throttling is bigger on g5
Exynos on pe9
First run 32k I basemark x on hight
Second run : 18k
3 run: 26 k
4 run 32k
5 run 32k
6 run 32k
7.8.8.10 run 32 k
On outside with auto brightest
Sooo yeah phone was cool maybe 35 Celsius
benchmarks means nothing, test it in real games. it barely plays tekken dark resurrection and stutter endlessly, if ppsspp not crashing due to samsung stupid driver error, on Note 5 it works 60 fps ALL THE TIME!!!
All until sammy 6.0.1, that update ruined gaming for me on both devices.
I fix my problem with need for speed with bad fps.
Try this: open game tuner (instal it if dont have it)
Go to setings and then to aplication category. Search for your game and select that is not a game.
Then try again and see 60fps+

This trick will also prevent it from changing screen modes.
I think that made the trick that I hopelessly waited for so long, thank you, I will try it more to obtain a conclusive result but, currently my problems seem to have gone
Didn't notice any difference in games like Temple Run Oz - a game which used to run fluently with highest settings on a Nexus 2013... It's unplayable, regardless if set as game or not.
Changing to governor to performance temporarely fixes the problem completely though.

As another poster said, it doesnt work.
Marvel Champions still drops down to 30fps lock pretty damn quickly, killing the fluidity of it.

There is no need for a custom kernel. You can just disable GameMode with Package Disabler Pro.

it's not working for everyone, i disabled it and it didn't help at all, my games are cpu intensive and GPU intensive, but ran perfect on Note 5 before 6.0.1, there is no hope, samsung never gonna fix it.

Did nothing sadly.
Custom kernel seemed to just make it look like 30fps on crack (responsiveness of 60fps, with judder of 30fps).

Report it to Samsung if you haven't yet. I hope they're aware of this issue already though, and this is (luckily) a pure software issue though, so no need to freak out

i reported, posted two different video's on youtube, went through several sammy channels, and they said they will forward it further... but tbh nothing will happen.
I did the same with Note 5 on 21 Feb, when it got 6.0.1 and performance in games were poor, very very poor, going back to 5.1.1 made it perfect again, again samsung will never care for it.
its killing me on marvel contest of champions. thiking about returning the damn phone and that sucks... otherwise i love it but if u spend an hour a day or more gaming it becomes unbearable

that true, i wouldn't advise gaming on S7, it pure crap at that, on software level, at least with root u can make it managable, idk how sammy fail so hard at a simple task...
You actually need a custom kernel, set big cores to blu_active governor and everything works at 60fps
ondemand seems to do the trick too, but heck we need to root for this.

Heat? What heat? Huawei have achieved very good heat dissipation with this phone. Not sure how but they have. It also plays games just fine.

No issues so far and it doesn't get hot as other phones after long periods of gaming.
According to AnandTech's review this phone is a monster in GPU benchmarks. Should not have any issues. (Can't post link though as I'm a new user, but Google it)
Games work fine except for Dream league soccer 2016. On firmware version 126 it was obvious that something is wrong with graphics, but it was playable. After upgrading firmware to 138 game keeps crashing after max. 5mins of playtime.

Hardware is not a problem, nor heat is, but you have to take in mind that many games developers don't support Kirin processors and when they detect a Kirin processor, they just display ugly graphics.
I have tried many games with Mate 9, and all those with Vulkan run flawless, but if you try some other games, for example, CSR2, you will see the difference against a Qualcomm device. Is matter of time until the developers start giving support to Kirin processors and/or enable high quality graphics for them.

Hello there happy Op7 owners
In 3 days is my 40th birthday and I am in the search of a present for myself - a new smartphone
But, i searched the world for eons (i mean, the internet for a few weeks) for a device capable of playing full speed 60 fps, a certain collection of games.
I asked owners of Pocophone, Mi9, S9, OP6 to test this little game for me, and the results, while promising, were not the full speed that i want. All these phones are capable of runing the game, on paper, but the CPU throttling destroys the performance after a short while. The game needs a big core to run as efficient as it can.
All my research led me to OP7 which apparently, seen from tests with CPU throttling app, has an amazing way of keeing the big core full speed without throttling, or with very minimal throttling.
So, please help me confirm this is the chosen one (...or not) by testing for me the rom Espgaluda 2 (i can provide it in pm if needed, though is easy easy to find in google), using Retroarch emulator (PlayStore) with Mame 2015 core (2015!). The core is downloaded inside the app from Load Core menu. Don't forget to activate On Screen fps :good:
If played for like 5 minutes, we should have an ideea of performance. If one could record with a second phone the test, it would be perfect!
Thanks so much and forgive my enthusiast
That's minimum what I got lol. Constantly 60FPS.

Wow man! Could you please confirm that the smoothness remains even after playing more than 5 minutes?
And, very important; Are you rooted? Any special CPU related tweaks or just stock 100%?
Thankss!!

I tried it a few minutes and it was still great. Don't remember 5 or 10 minutes.
Yes I'm rooted with bluespark kernel, but I bet its the same with stock kernel, because there is no overclock with bluespark, so far I know.
I was looking in all forums yesterday and find this magisk mod, with it you can play Black desert at 60 fps and high resolution actually capped for Oneplus.
The mod change the build prop to spoof the device name and vendor to Samsung Galaxy 10, if you want revert the changes just uninstall or disable the mod.
the file:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/1869p7rvmq4qslf/BDM_Global_Unlock_Ultra_and_60_FPS.zip/file
the changes:
ro.product.model=SM-G975U
ro.product.brand=samsung
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
Hi, ¿You can tell me how to install? ¡And thanks!.
It works, thanks! You need to have magisk installed (root required) and then install as a module.
Thx works perfekt. Now I can play Asphalt 9 with 60 FPS on my Oneplus 6
Does this work only with Oneplus?
Yes it works for all devices not only OnePlus 7 Pro.

Thanks, I'm rooting now... 10 XR looks largely better than on ours.
Works like a champ. Game isn't as pretty as friends phone but it looks good and is much smoother with this unlock.
I think the hardware can do 120 fps but many games I had tried, demanding or not, all are locked at 60fps. Does anyone know any game that is not fps locked?
Unlike ROG, nubia or BlackShark... no locking fps.
Is the ColorOS to be blamed for?
(Currently I just want to streaming PC game via Moonlight Stream, and I have to re-build the app with chrome package name just to bypass the locked fps on ColorOS. Really frustrating at what Oppo did)

Fortnite hand select devices for higher FPS, not too sure why people have the assumption it's a Oppo or ColorOS issue, the Snapdragon 865 is more than capable, it's just whenever the game developers decide to add it..
I really hope that the upcoming Android 11 Oppo encourages devs to allow games to run higher than 60fps. I'm really not bothered about the battery considering the recharge speed.

It'd be great if Oppo implemented a feature similar to Sony Xperia devices, where when gaming we can use power from the charger, bypassing the battery for longevity.
