LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12.1, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Yes, I experienced this after I flashed gaps. I couldn't copy anything to phone memory. I had to install rom using mi flash.
I'm daily driving this for the past week. Battery life is good. Everything seems to work no issues.
Had to flash 2 times. I rejected location on the lineage setup and didn't know how to change afterward. Factory reset triggered the settings crash. So clean flashed and everything was fine. Dirty flashed 2 different fw versions and dirty flashed the rom again, but still running strong. I assume it won't get any Ota any time soon.
@Mr_A_Warner do you plan on maintaining or getting official status for this? I would love for my mix3 to live on lineage 19 happily ever after.
Thanks again!

Sorry, I'm running as little google services as possible, so not able to try.
Doesn't pass safetynet, but I'm not really trying to either.
Edit:
Tried a little, and it passes safetynet with some magisk modules (kDragon Universale SafetyNet Fix & Didgeridoohan MagiskHide Props Config). However Pay isn't working. It's giving the message: "Account action required to use Google Pay; Check your device notifications for more info"
Like I said I have only "core GAPPs" installed, and cordoned off my G account as much as possible. So you might have better luck.

I would love to be able to get Official status, hopefully I'll be able to once I've cleaned up any code etc. If I do get Official status, then you'll be able to get OTA updates working.
Thank you for trying it out, glad you're happy with everything
Did you put any thought in the camera app? It works fine, however it feels a little sparse.
Do you have any suggestions to which GCAM version works best?
I love the feature where it launches the camera app on opening the slider, and swaps camera's accordingly. I've seen it working in other customs like ArrowOS, think you would be able to implement?
Not sure about the telephone. I don't think I ever saw it working in a custom rom before (or haven't missed it. Have had my Mix3 rooted and customed since I got it)

The camera app is the default one provided by Lineage (which I believe pull from AOSP) so nothing I can do about that. I would recommend using the GCam made by Parrot043 (link here: https://t.me/googlecamera_mod/2137)
I believe if you use GCam as your default camera, then it will do as you say and switch to front-facing when you pull down.
I'm looking into whether I can get the telephoto working, as it has been seen to work in a couple ROMs before
I'm using the Gcam you suggest. Seems like a good version.
However the "pul down" function doesn't work.
Paypal instant crashes for me, otherwise this rom seems fine so far.
Oh excellent, I was hoping to see a good Lineage build for this thing! Question: During install, it offers to install Lineage Recovery. Does this include a working build of that for the Mi MIX 3? I can't find any builds of that on Lineage's site and don't wanna break anything by checking that off if it's not actually included in this ROM.
Edit: Got a bug, unfortunately. Audio playback from any MP3 player software (including Poweramp and the built in Music, possibly any music player, but I haven't installed yt music yet) cuts out randomly, and stops completely when the screen is off, and turning off battery optimization doesn't fix it. I am on V12.5.1.0.QEECNXM firmware.

Likely due to Lineage not having the builtin features to pass Safetynet. If you could get logs, I can take a look

As it's an unofficial build, you won't find anything on their site for our phone.
Suggest you stick with TWRP.
I haven't experienced any issues with audio playback. I've used YT Music, Apple Music, Poweramp with no problems. Could you get logs so I can see what's going on please?

Tips and Tricks
Go to Settings\Performance and enable 16bit transparency
FROYO KERNEL - Change the Overclock values to [email protected]\[email protected]\[email protected] for better battery life and vsel2 usage.
[*}All Kernels - Select "Use Default Values" in oc config to use my values for all governors
Restart the system once you're done changing values (dpi, layout, etc) in Paranoid Preferences to prevent glitches.
System App "Bugs" -- Valid for any CM10 Rom and CM9 for Apollo
If the AOSP keyboard keeps taking preference and you don't want it to, delete LatinIME.apk & LatinImeDictionaryPack.apk or rename to *.apk.bak
If Apollo intercepts your long press volume track change or the lockscreen music widget doesn't work correctly, delete or rename Apollo.apk
This rom includes (and always will) a 30 step volume mod, if it messes with your player then uncheck "Direct Volume Control" or the appropriate setting in your music app. I'm an audiophile and prefer the 30 step mod over the default 15.
Updating the Rom
For Dirty Upgraders (non-Factory Reset install) all you have to do is flash the rom -- no dalvik or cache wipe is required -- they're built in.
This rom includes GooManager and it will let you know if a new version of ParanoidAndroid available.
The roms in Rom Manager are from Quarx's server. I'll be removing this in later versions of PA.
I recommend a full factory reset when installing new versions; but I do that with every rom I flash.
Use GooManager to update this rom -- It'll automatically reboot into recovery, wipe what you selected it to, flash the rom, and flash gapps. The only thing you have to do when updating is say yes to wipe dalvik cache and reboot.
Bugs
Settings>Storage has the SDCard listed as Internal Memory
Settings>Dev Options>Force GPU Rendering -- can cause the Status Bar to not appear
Settings>Display>Enable On-Screen Buttons -- does nothing, use Settings>System>Navigation Bar instead
Settings>Display>Change Height -- doesn't work with Navigation Bar (see the above bug)

I had this problem for quite sometime on several roms, and I've found the solution just yesterday.
The problem on the Play Store is because your LCD Density change. I'm not sure on how you have configured your phone, but what worked for me was to keep my build.prop with lcd density of 240 dpi, and then make changes by app using Paranoid Settings.

thats right. (-:
pa does not change build.prop or system dpi at all. systems running always in default dpi. we are strongly against touching build.prop, makes simply no sense. if everythings configured right the market should be fine in whatever dpi you drop it via PA panel.
i heard from a dev that missing vendor files can cause problems, it was recently the issue on the s3. when that was cleared their market started to download happily again. gokussjx was the one that solved it. if vendor files are fine the problem is most likely on the side of the user, maybe he really changed build.prop or did something else to it.
i have mine set to tabUI btw and 200 dpi. normal for my phone is phoneUI and 320. not one issue. (-;

Its already been said, but I'll repeat it -- Change the dpi back to stock in the build.prop (240) and use all the settings in PA to change the dpi without breaking market functionality.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll be releasing a patch later today to address the init scripts & the build version. Its still officially 1.992, only the build script sets the values to 2.00 so that's why we labeled the threads as such. I'm going to fix the roms on goo.im to reflect the same changes to minimize issues with GooManager and not have to use the patch I'll eventually release today -- I have to pick up my Dad from the hospital later today and I'll do more than post in the forums until then.

Go to Settings -- Paranoid Settins -- Apps -- Gmail
Set the layout higher than the 360px default. You'll probably want to lower your dpi for Gmail as well -- I like 160 - 180 myself.
My Gmail is on 160dpi and 720px layout.
I should have added in the first post -- If you were using the old Defy PA, you should factory reset before switching to my PA -- it has a completely different framework with more changes and merges from both PA and Quarx.

GUIDE, FAQ and Useful Links
Much of what follows applies to many ROMs. If you have suggestions for things to be added to this guide or find any errors then please let me know.
Purpose and Rules of XDA
XDA is a developers site. It is for learning and sharing. It is not here to "provide" apps or support to users. Most of the people that develop or help or support do so in their free time. No one "owes" you anything. You are not "entitled" to anything. Those that help others, are polite and try to help themselves will be more likely receive helpful and polite assistance.
Rule number one of XDA is : Search
Other rules include:
Be respectful
Be tolerant
Be hepful
Don't be an ass
Q&A or Dev Thread?
The development thread is for development issues, "bug reports", where something clearly doesn't work or doesn't work as intended.
But you should only report on the development thread if you have clean flashed.
A little banter is accepted in the development thread, but please don't turn the thread into a chat room.
The Q&A is more "free". There you can mention issues after a dirty flash, but we might ask you to clean flash if we suspect that may be the problem.
Anything related to third party apps, kernels or gapps should be posted in the Q&A, as should any general questions like where is this option, how do I change that setting, does this ROM have this feature etc.
Flashing
You should clean install for best results. If you "dirty flash" then at least wipe cache and dalvik/ART and you MUST provide logs with any issues.
Clean v Dirty Flash
There are a number of interpretations of clean flash. In recovery you should factory reset or wip everything except internal storage. This will wipe your apps and most app settings.
Whilst there are ways of backing up your settings they are not recommended because they can cause issues when there are changes to the ROM which affect how settings are stored or recorded. Do not restore system data: this often leads to forced closes and constant error messages.
You can use a backup app like Titanium Backup or Parcel. Sometimes restored apps can cause issues, and it is better and cleaner to re-download them, although not everyone has the time or inclination to do this.
If you do not wipe as per above, then you are dirty flashing. This is quicker and often works. But because things are left behind from the previous flash this can result in weird issues. When you dirty flash you really should wipe cache and dalvik/ART, so that there aren't residual
Reporting Issues
Before Reporting Issues
If you have issues with your new flashed system there are a few things to do before you report them.
First, if you have dirty flashed then try a clean flash to see if the issue remains - many issues are cleared this way. Also, it is very difficult to pin-point certain issues after a dirty flash.
Also, if you have Xposed installed then remove that before reporting. This is because Xposed can change things deep within the OS and make things behave differently, which in turn makes it very difficult to troubleshoot and resolve issues. This is Xposed hate - many devs require this and will not offer any support if Xposed is installed.
Reboot. It's surprising how many issues can be resolved by this simple step. Especially if an app is misbehaving or using a lot of battery.
How to Report An Issue
Report them in the Q&A. If relevant they will be promoted to the dev thread or we will inform the devs.
The biggest bugbear of those trying to help with issues is when they are not properly reported and require to have the same questions answered over and over. The circumstances may require different information, but here are a few common items to consider posting:
Version. Often people miss this and are reporting something that was solved days or weeks ago. Others say "latest" when it may not be. Quote the version number and/or build date.
Firmware. Again, quote the date or source.
GApps. The GApps version can affect which version of Google Play Services and PlayStore, amongst others that are used. Whilst often GApps can be "out of date" without any issue, when there is a lot of development by CM this can be very relevant.
Whether you clean or dirty flashed.
A log. Necessary if you dirty flashed, very useful even if you clean flashed. See below for how to do this.
How to replicate the issue. The more specific about how the issue arises and when, the more likely you are to get a quick resolution. If no one can replicate the issue it is unlikely they can resolve the issue.
How to Take a Log
This is an excellent guide.
Some kernels have their own log/bug report option to make things easier.

Frequently Asked Questions
No one answered my question.
Maybe no one has read it yet - you may need to give it time. Maybe no one knows the answer yet. Have you already tried to solve the issue? Were you polite? Did you give enough information? There is no need to keep bumping your post.
Which folder does the OTA file get downloaded to? Is it the full file or just the incremental update? Are there nightlies?
/sdcard/Download and it's the full file. They aren't nightly but they are normally very frequent.
Which firmware / modem should I use?
The latest firmware used by the dev is listed above. There may be newer versions, so see the linked threads for firmware and modems. It's important you read up about what you are flashing at this level and this thread could never be totally up to date. Many people flash the latest CM12 nightly ROM which includes these files.
Does BlissPop support Layers / RRO?
No. It has the CM theme engine.
Can I use Xposed?
Yes. But please don't report issues if you have Xposed. It changes things deep in the OS and needs to be kept patched. Devs can waste days looking for a problem that isn't related to the ROM.
Here are some instructions for installing Xposed from @magnamentis:
a) nandroid
b) flash rom, kernel, gapps & whatever is due or wanted and at the very end "EACH TIME" flash the sdk22.zip provided in links above.
c) boot and install app (xposed apk povided in links above)
d) SOFT-reboot and don't pay attention to the red text indicating that it can only be installed manually. just SOFT-reboot
.... it must be a softy otherwise one could get a failed attemt, have heard and seen various versions but with soft reboot it always works.
e) check the framework state i the xposed app, should be 61 green for app process and 64 green for xposedbridge.jar, both under active.
undre bundled must be triple dashes.
f) only then install modules and check them under modules and SOFT-reboot. albeit from here normal reboot would work, it's still safer to
...do a softy until all is proven to be up and running. this will map out one possible reason for eventual errors which in my case never happened.
g) to uninstall the available uninstaller zip has been reported to work while others say no. so it seems device specific. what you can do ist either revert back to the nandroid you made under a) or if you're using xposed for a while and will likely not want to revert back to an old rom+all version
LOL then you can use the uninstaller.zip available on rovo89's threads and which has been provide many times all over, or you can first uninstall all modules like apps, as well as the xposed app like any other app and then manually remove the following files BEFORE REBOOTING albeit there will most probably be no reason since all works well.
h) manually uninstall/deactivate xposed: remove /data/app/de.robv.android.xposed.installer folder/files in it. should you boot by accident before done or for some reason get into a bootloop ( never happened to me ) you can still boot into recovery and delete the above folder and it's files at least from twrp recovery while other recoveries don't have a file manager as far as i've seen.
Which kernel is best for....?
Stock, Boeffla and ak kernels all get frequent good comments, and there are several other good kernels. So much depends on you: your setup, apps, usage, signal. The list goes on. The real best way to find out is try them for yourself; give each one a few days to settle and you can observe battery usage, smoothness, speed, tweakability etc. But there is no Holy Grail kernel - one that gives the best of everything for everybody. "Performance" and "battery" aren't mutally exclusive, but akernel set up heavily to favour one will almost certainly compromise the other. Kernel governors and hotplugs also have an effect. If you are interested in a kernel, read some of the kernel thread.
One last point. When there are changes from CM the date and commits of a kernel can be important so the kernel and ROM aren't out of sync.
How is Battery Life
This often gets asked, but there is no clear answer that suits everyone. So lets start of by saying the team finds battery life to be very good.
There are however many things affecting battery life. Your apps, settings and signal all have a big effect. As does how often your apps are updating and whether over wifi or mobile data. Additionally, which kernel and it's settings also have an effect. As does screen brightness. Certain social and messaging apps can have a huge drain. How often you flash a new ROM has a big effect too. Ideally, from a battery life perspective, you should allow everything to settle and go through a couple of charge cycles. With the frequency of BlissPop updates I have never achieved this!
So every user will have different battery life and typical screen on time. Make sure when doing comparisons you really do it on a like for like basis.
If you want to investigate battery usage, consider apps like Wakelock Detector (WLD) and Better Battery Stats (BBS) as well as GSAM Battery Monitor. These will often pinpoint where battery is being consumed and what is waking your device. Quite often you will see an app misbehaving which can often be resolved with a simple reboot.

Optimising Your Set up
Floating Window
Notes from @tobitege:
Enable "Development shortcuts" in Developer options
Recents: long-tap on app icon on an app's title bar to get popup, select "Floating mode"
App bar and Omniswitch: long-tap an app to open in floating mode
Notification drawer: long-tap notification then tap new floating icon to open app in floating window
Baseband/Firmware/Modem
If you have come from KitKat, Oxygen etc you are likely on the "wrong" firmware and modem. There are several threads around XDA showing various options. @tobitege details the suggested firmware in his update posts, as well as the link above. But here is a simple one-size-fits-all, once only solution:
Backup your apps and app data using Titanium Backup. A nandroid backup is also advised.
Ensure you are on TWRP 2.8.6.0. Some of the later versions have some issues that can affect the success of this process.
Download and clean flash a recent CM nightly. No need for GApps or anything else. This will update various "partitions" including firmware and modem.
Boot. No need to set anything up, just reboot back to recovery.
Clean flash BlissPop and GApps.
Enjoy!

Sometimes these display as white on white. A quick fix is using a dark or transparent theme.
Go to Settings, Bliss interface, Heads up and change custom colors. You could tap the reset button to reset to Android colors.

That is low look at mine on stock kernel in main OP.
Is there a way to customize or disable the popup heads up notification in Android 5 version of this mod?

NOTE: For those asking about an update of this rom to the latest QK1 baseband, it appears that you can now manually update this rom to QK1 in Settings without adding any stock bloat or damaging the rom. For more info, please refer to this post HERE.
UPDATE: The Xposed Framework works with this rom. You can find more info on that HERE.
Hey guys! I thought I'd make this super lite version of the new "N920TUVU4EQC6" Nougat stock firmware for all my fellow T-Mobile Note 5-ers out there. It's much smaller than the official stock firmware package, but please note that I didn't get rid of all the Samsung or Gapps stuff like many debloated roms do. I basically tried to make the rom as lite as possible without reducing any functionality of the S Pen, networking, Settings & Quick Settings options, image & video editing capabilities, S Health heartbeat sensor functionality, S Voice and TTS stuff, etc., so I left all the necessary stuff to do that. I left the Play Store installed too, so no one has to flash a Gapps package just to download apps. Any other Google apps you want you can just download from HERE or you can actually still install a Gapps package if you really want too. I've tested the ones from OpenGapps btw and they work fine with this rom.(Just make sure you're selecting "ARM64", "7.0" & whatever Gapps package you want.) Keep in mind too that anything Google you add increases your online footprint, releases a lot more data over the web and decreases your own level of security.
The main thing I focused on for this rom though was the personal security of the user.
Security Features:
- VPN/TOR support For Online Anonymity.(via Orbot)
To get started using this feature right away and secure yourself just:
1) Make sure you've updated to the newest version of "Orbot" from the Play Store.(Contains some fixes for some crashes that were happening for some.)
2) Open Orbot from the "Security" folder on the home page.
3) Hit the "Start" button.
4) Click the top left menu and switch on "Apps VPN Mode".
5) Click "Proxy All" Button at the bottom of the next page.
That's it. You're done.
NOTE: Some users have reported experiencing force closes in Orbot for some reason when trying to apply the above settings for the first time. If this happens then just open android Settings and go to Apps>Orbot and click on "Force Stop" Then click on "Storage" below and tap "Clear Data". Should fix the issue. The latest version in the Play Store says that it fixes some crashes, so make sure Orbot is fully up to date.
- More Secure Web Browsing & Web Search Options.(via Orfox & DuckDuckGo)
Orfox browser comes with Tor already built in and is best for remaining anonymous online. DuckDuckGo is good for private searches and doing things that Orfox may block for security purposes. You can enable Tor in the DuckDuckGo browser settings if you want too, though all your apps should already be running on a private connection(VPN) as it is if you followed the Orbot steps above.
- Private Calls & SMS/MMS Text Messaging.(via Signal)
INSTRUCTIONS(To See Your Text Messages):
1) Open the Signal app at the bottom of the home page.
2) Enter your phone #.
3) Click the "Register" button.
Your texts will then appear and will be private/encrypted from now on. You can make private calls through the app too.
NOTE: If you must have the stock messaging app, then please refer to this post HERE.
- A Secure Password Manager For Creating & Storing Encrypted Passwords For All Your Accounts.(via Keepass2Android)
- 2-Factor Authentication Support For Your Accounts Providing The Ability To Generate 2 Step Verification Codes For Secure Log Ins.(via Authy)
You will have to sign up for 2 Step Verification with your account provider(Facebook, Google or wherever) first before you can use this service. Then you will have to authenticate it with the app. Afterwards when you try and log into your account it will ask you for a 6 digit token # to access your account which this app provides. Makes it so no one else can access your account even if they had your password because they would need to have your device as well to access it.
- Functionality To Block The Camera From Being Opened Secretly For Anti-Spyware Protection.(via Camera Blocker)
Camera Blocker Instructions
- Real-Time Connection Monitor For Tracking Exactly Where Your Apps Are Connecting To Visually On A Map.(via SpyMonitor)
I just added this one as a fun little extra security feature. It is good to check from time to time where all your data is going though.
- Best of all though, if you don't really want any of that stuff and just want to further debloat, I added an option for people to delete whatever system or user apps they want.(via System App Safe Remover)
NOTE: These are all important features for protecting your identity online, for more information on all the features listed above, please just look the corresponding apps up in the Play Store. If anyone wants more information about deleting apps or restoring some of the stock apps to the rom for whatever reason, then they should read this comment HERE.
Other Features:
Aroma Installer
Roots With No-Verity-Opt-Encrypt & SuperSU on install.
Init.d Support
Deodexed
Deknoxed
Debloated
Custom QC6 Lite Boot & Shutdown Animations
Custom Anonymous/Guy Fawkes Theme
Latest Version of the S8 TouchWiz Launcher
Latest Version of Bixby
Known Issues(and their fixes):
Bixby- Needs to update ICS(Interactive and Customized Services), but won't when you try to update. This is an issue on Samsung's end that came about recently. To get it to work you just have to install Personalization Service Client from HERE. You can always just touch and hold on the homescreen and toggle the switch to turn off Bixby if you don't want it too.
Orbot- If you experience any force closes, then make sure you've fully updated it in the Play Store. Latest version contains some important crash fixes.
Gear VR Function- I removed this stuff originally just to further debloat some of the extra Samsung stuff, but if anyone has Gear or a Gear VR device and wants those files back, then just flash the restore file from the Downloads page in TWRP. Thanks!.
Voice Typing- To enable the microphone in Samsung Keyboard, then just check out this post HERE
Netflix- This app is not included with the rom, but just as an honorable mention, Netflix doesn't work right out of the box. This is not a rom issue. This is a Netflix issue. You may not even find Netflix in the Play Store because it is not technically supported for the Note 5 on the new Nougat SDK yet. To fix this though, then just first download the newest Netflix app(version 4.16.1 build 15145 or newer) from HERE and then use ES File Explorer to find and delete the file "liboemcrypto.so" from "/system/lib/" so you don't experience any service interruption.

Well, I don't know about about Audio Mod, though it looks like you can just flash the file from here if this is the one you meant:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-note5/themes-apps/mod-tmon5surroud-sound-t3187359
Hadn't thought about tethering hotspot either, though, depending on what you want to do, I did leave the mobile Hotspot app in the rom for doing hotspot over wifi. There is always the Android Beam function if you just want to transfer files or share links, contacts, etc. from one device to another. It's not the same as tethering though I know. Maybe I'll look into incorporating that if I can at some point later on down the road if/when I get some more extra time.
thanks for the link.

Same happens with me as well, But I assure you the settings are still working if you changed anything. The only thing would be clearing the data and doing everything over again if you want to change your settings. I don't know why it does this but it's the only way that's been working for me so far.
As for the bixby ICS, just install the Personalization Service Client from APKMIRROR LINK and it will update it.
The only thing I'm having problem with is the bixby vision not being recognized on photos. I don't know if it have to do with installing the updated bixby files from apkmirror before updating the app, as I should of just left it as default since bogarty said it was on latest. So i'm unsure of that as scrolling to left works though, just not bixby voice and vision. Gonna Dirty Flash ROM and see if it fixes the problem.
Other than that, the ROM is pretty nice, enjoy the security done with this ROM.

Thanks Tray! You're right. Personalization Service does fix Bixby. I'll add the link to the OP. I haven't tried installing Bixby Vision yet, it's possible it may only work with the newest camera 7.0.x. I tried adding that camera to the rom actually, but it wasn't compatible.

You might also check and see if you need to update the app in the Play Store too. The latest update lists:
* Fixes for app selection screen layout and crash bugs.
* Fixes for native code crashes for some devices.

Just went through and further explained all the security features in the OP. Added some images too as a guide. Hope this helps those who want to fully take advantage of those features.
Info
This thread contains unofficial custom builds of LineageOS 17 for OnePlus 7 Pro based on official LineageOS repositories & PeterCxy's repositories. This ROM has a few additions.
- Includes microG signature spoofing patch
- Removes com.qualcomm.location which interferes with UnifiedNlp
- Added option to configure the height of the back gesture in gesture navigation settings
Please note that I am not an experienced ROM developer, these are simply my own custom builds I'm sharing with you all in case anybody finds them useful.
ROM instructions
If you want to spoof signature of Phonesky you must manually grant it. Do this through a terminal emulator by running the following commands.
Code:
su
pm grant com.android.vending android.permission.FAKE_PACKAGE_SIGNATURE
There is currently an issue with microG UnifiedNlp. If you ever get the "UnifiedNlp has no last known location" error, you must re-enable UnifiedNlp backends. This must be done after every reboot and whenever this error decides to pop back up.

Thank you for this! ??
Update - 30-08-2019
Changelog:
Switched to official LineageOS device repositories
Merged latest changes from LineageOS frameworks/base
Switched hosting from MEGA to Android File Host
Update instructions are in OP
Hi gigatex,
I just wanted to thank you for creating this! I've been using it as my daily driver without any issues. It's rock solid, fast and great on the battery and it's the only rom that works superbly with MicroG, without the hassle of removing Google junk.
If I were to give you one suggestion, it'd be to include links to Magisk, NanoDroid (F-Droid and MicroG packages) and perhaps TWRP. If only for user ease.
Keep up the good work and thanks again!
Doesn't the lineage team provide an official microg version around a week or so after they have an official regular build?
Thank you for this either way! I've been waiting for a microg version of this.
I don't want to sound douchy, but it's actually the MicroG team that forks the LineageOS build and pretty much does to it what gigatex did with this ROM. They will probably add support for our device in a few days, but it's great that we don't have to wait for that, thanks to this ROM.

As far as I can tell by looking at the docker repo, LineageOS for microG just takes the LineageOS frameworks/base and applies the signature spoofing patch for their builds. If this is the case they might have the same problem with UnifiedNlp as every other OnePlus 7 Pro ROM.
Lineage only merged the "NLP Combo feature" commit in the last month or so, while most other ROMs have had it for a lot longer. If anyone here flashes their build when it becomes available I'd be curious to know if UnifiedNlp works correctly on their ROM.
I'm gonna give this a go tonight. Looking forward to it. Lineage has always been my favorite since I got into the rom community. Glad I can go Google free.
Side note: anyone know of good navigation app? For obvious reasons, I'm not wanting to use Google maps.

I've used osmand before, it's been awhile but for some reason there was something I didn't like about it. I'll give it another shot. Thanks!
This ROM is running great so far. Thank you very much for your work!
Only issue I'm having it getting the oneplus camera app. Whenever I tap the app to open it, it force closes. O can however long press on the icon and tap one of the modes in the pop up menu and it works from there. For some reason it seems to be the standard picture mode that crashes. Did anyone else have issues with it?
Edit: Double post
Sorry for all the questions, but what exactly is the proper way to set this up with microg? I've realized I'm not getting push notifications for email apps.
Basically for my install I wiped dalvik and data,
Flashed ROM and twrp
Reboot recovery and flash ROM and twrp again
Reboot to system
Reboot recovery and flash magisk and nanodroid
Then proceed to configure microg, signing into google account and enabling cloudessagimg, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

As for OnePlus camera, I simply downloaded the APK in PeterCxy's thread and I'm not experiencing any crashes.
I use the same installation procedure as you. Are your apps getting registered under GCM and is your "Current State" showing as connected? Also make sure you go through the entire self check. The "System supports location provider" is the only checkbox that's supposed to be unchecked.

I'm gonna try again from stock. It says current state disconnected and no apps ever register under GCM. Not sure what the issue is.

That's definitely the issue then. Also make sure you only open apps that use GCM for the first time after completing the microG setup and GCM is connected, or the app will never get registered.

Would it be better to flash MicroG through NanoDroid or by installing the Magisk MicroG Module?

I don't know what's recommended, but I ended up flashing the magisk module. My reason being is that nanodroid has a ridiculous amount of extra bloat in it.

LineageOS needs no introductions. This version of LineageOS-14.1 is a highly customised version solely for the Amazon Fire HD10
- EVEN MORE IMPORTANT: This ROM only works on devices using the bootloader hack. See <<< HERE >>> to unlock your devices.
- IMPORTANT: Do not update Magisk via the Magisk Manager App, your device will enter a bootloop if you do. Instead update Magisk via TWRP only. If you do this by accident then it is recoverable by just flashing the latest version of the ROM again (with gapps etc as required).

Its regarding media playback (OpenMaX)
Should be able to flash it over cm-12.1.
Be sure to install arm64 7.1 gapps the first time round.
Amazing, you are the man! Thanks! Lots of stuff already working nicely. The only thing I noticed in a quick test is video playback not working, Netflix won't even start, and YouTube just shows black screen.
Edit: WiFi also still drops occasionally, just like on CM 12.1.
I'm having a couple issues already. i dirty flashed over 12.1. installed magisk, then xposed-v89-sdk25-arm64.zip, and open_gapps-arm64-7.1-nano-20190926.zip.
Not Working:
1. Home and Recent buttons do not work. Does not work in navigation bar or in other apps such as LMT and FNG (Fluid Navigation Gestures)
2. when I open Solid Explorer, I get "requested file was not found. Path: /storage/sdcard1
3. Can't get into Developer Mode. Nothing shows up when I tap.
4. the Play Store does not download at all. it just keeps pending.
5. Plex does not work.
Working:
1. USB C Headphones (Earpods) w/ 2 adapters.
2. Amazon Prime Video does work but very choppy. Unwatchable.
3. YMusic. (gets a choppy slightly)
Update: I did a clean install and so far it's working much better. I'll have to reinstalll all my apps and test the rest later.
TLDR: DO A CLEAN INSTALL. a dirty flash from 12.1 will give you problems.

Looks like a clean install is the way forward coming from another ROM.

That's the conclusion I came to. The major issue is video playback. I'll start looking into that shortly.
Great to see Nougat coming to Fire HD10. Thanks!
Just have to unlock my bootloader and will give this a try.
Quick question: if it doesn't work as I expect, can I revert back to stock ROM without any problems?

If you have an unlocked bootloader and TWRP installed you can make a backup of your fireOS and then try any rom you want. If not satisfied you can restore fireOS. Go back to locked bootloader with stock rom is also possible (but why?).
PS: There is also a fully working Lineage 12.1 if you won't wait for video playback.
@retora Thank you. Tablet wasn't unlocked yet. Just manually debloated and rooted Stock ROM. But not many important things on it, so a factory reset wasn't that much of a headache.
Did the bootloader unlock, no problems at all. After it flashed this 14.1 ROM, GApps and Magisk. So far it seems to work really nice. I am just setting it up and will play around a bit.
Yeah, I saw that there is a 12.1, but I am sure @ggow will get the video playback working soon.
Is the download delay in playstore still present? This seems to be the most important issue as I learned in the 12.1-thread.
One new issue I noticed (was working fine on CM 12.1) is that I can't set up the Gmail app. It asks me to add an account, but if I try to add my Google account it tells me the account is already present on the device. Other Google apps like Photos work fine.
I did do wipe (but no data format) before installing the ROM, and I installed the pico gapps together with the ROM.

Haven't experienced any delay with the Playstore. First I installed some benchmarks to compare it with the Stock ROM. Seems to be 4-5% faster than the Stock ROM, if I look at the average of the benachmarks I used.
Just did an update to all apps for which an update was available via Store (YouTube, Google, Photos) - started downloading right after clicking on "Update all". No delay either with starting the next app after updating the first one.
So far I am very satisfied. Gonna try some bluetooth devices and see how they behave.

So if we're coming from your other ROM, we don't need to wipe? Just flash this and the newer gapps?
@GuyInDogSuit Some people are having issues with that so a clean flash is recommended

Grant gmail app permissions and all will be good.
Any idea why I can't install Google Play Games?
Did a fresh install of the ROM with GApps mini. The Games app is downloaded by the store but fails to install with a general "The app can't be installed" message.

@GuyInDogSuit i did a dirty flash. i encountered many problems. a clean install is recommended.
@ggow perhaps you can add a note in your post to do a clean install if upgrading from 12.1 to prevent further queries regarding this issue.
