Welcome to XDA
It's always screwing around in the background...
I normally keep Gookill Play Services disabled useless I need it on my Note 10+.
Gmail needs it as does Playstore which I rarely use. Some 3rd apps need it. Backup Transport needs it which I don't use.

My 2 cents:
Google Play Services is tied to the very core of Android OS, and disabling it (or its permissions) can have radically negative effects on your device and its performance.
Google Play Services internally holds a list of all supported APIs an app - downloaded from Google Play Store - may make use of. When an app gets launched Google Play Services is queried whether the permission the app requires are granted or not.

Google Play Music is currently only available for United States for now.
But there is a way of using Google Play Music from different countries!
How?
Now I will try to tell it;
As first, the system is beta for now So it only works with invitation. But getting one is so easy.
You need Fire Hide IP freeware software for your PC.
Download here
After installing program click to Hide IP button and you will get a United States IP.
You can request invitation from Internet Explorer 9 or Mozilla Firefox 5.0.1.
Login your Google account and go to Google Play Music website.
Click to Request Invitation.
[*]This part is only needed for invitation. Now you can delete this settings if you want.
Now you can download 20.000 mp3 from there.
You can sync and manage your Google Play Music using Itunes.
Enable Sync Google Play Music from Account settings of your phone and enjoy!
From my blog, for more tips see here: TechnoRumor Blog
I don't get any request ivitation button

I'm running stock, rooted Sense 5. 4.2.2/Sense 5 wasn't released too long ago. Is it possible for manufacturers to just update system apps from the Play Store BEFORE they announced support for this with the M8?
Now, I don't download very many apps on the Play Store, so my Play Store Installed Apps list is quite short. I've never seen this app on the list. Perhaps more can pop up when it finds updates HTC pushes?
The update was found yesterday, though the update day reads 20 March 2014. Filtering by device model, it seems all comments on the Play Store listing from our very device were made within the last two days.
What I hope this means is that HTC will update Sense components for our devices via the Play Store, if this app's update indicates any possibility in doing so.
HTC is following in the footsteps of what Google, Motorola, and others have been doing recently...uploading their "stock" apps to the Play Store.

Google Fit App

Google Fit
Google Fit is about to redefine the way we see smartphone health. Closely tied into Android Wear but functioning perfectly fine on it's own, Google Fit will help you achieve your fitness and activity goals.

Google Fit is the simplest and easiest to understand health app I've seen.

Hi,
on my Samsung S4 with Android 5, this App measures totally wrong distances, even I have allowed high detail positioning, including GPS. Generally, my tracks are recorded way to low, when I go for a walk, my Garmin GPS says 6.1km for example, and Google Fit says 1.2km. Or I was wandering last weekend, GPS device says 20.1km, Google fit says 12.5km, and so on.
The only way this seems to improve is when I run a logging app like "My tracks" at the same time, but when only Google fit is active in the background, the values are totally randm, but always too low

Since the app to install Google is malware I wouldn't trust anything that is installed by it. GMS core services are supposed to be system apps not user space apps so these Google APK files this app is installing are NOT legit Google apps. Since Huawei is providing the unlock code for the mate 30, do it the right way and get the real gapps, not this hacked Chinese bull****
better wait for better options. im currently using mate 20 pro. and interested in upgrading to mate 30 pro.. waiting only on the gms issue and work around.
Seems the door to install Google apps may have been closed today.
