I'm running stock, rooted Sense 5. 4.2.2/Sense 5 wasn't released too long ago. Is it possible for manufacturers to just update system apps from the Play Store BEFORE they announced support for this with the M8?
Now, I don't download very many apps on the Play Store, so my Play Store Installed Apps list is quite short. I've never seen this app on the list. Perhaps more can pop up when it finds updates HTC pushes?
The update was found yesterday, though the update day reads 20 March 2014. Filtering by device model, it seems all comments on the Play Store listing from our very device were made within the last two days.
What I hope this means is that HTC will update Sense components for our devices via the Play Store, if this app's update indicates any possibility in doing so.

HTC is following in the footsteps of what Google, Motorola, and others have been doing recently...uploading their "stock" apps to the Play Store.

The last time the Google Play Store app got a major redesign, it was still called the Android Market. So we're about due a visual refresh, and it looks like a new version could be headed our way sooner rather than later.
YouTube's Eileen Rivera posted the screenshot above on Google+, showing a lighter, more colorful design with more prominence given to the main store areas, and larger app icons below. "Games" also gets its own entry, whereas before it was found under "Apps."
Right now it looks like Google's just sharing the new Play Store among its employees -- check out the little dog bowl icon on the top left -- but if Googlers are posting pictures of the new app publicly, chances are we won't have too long to wait for the public roll-out.
OMG IM SO EXCITED, I HOPE THERES A TABLET VERSION!!!!!!,,!!,,!,

Moments ago, Google officially flipped the switch on their completely redesigned interface for the web version of the Google Play Store and it looks… glorious.
Besides a look more in-tune with the Android application, the new Google Play interface FINALLY makes user Wishlists accessible via the web, making it easier than ever to save interesting apps for later downloading. Lots of new stuff here, folks. Make sure to check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.
but I keep getting "An unexpected error has occurred". Looks like they need a little more time to work the bugs out, or, less likely, a flood of people are checking out the new design and google can't handle the load.
How many of you facing the same Problem ??
Please Comment below!!!
It looks good, I don't get any errors, but the menu display is broken in Opera:

Since the app to install Google is malware I wouldn't trust anything that is installed by it. GMS core services are supposed to be system apps not user space apps so these Google APK files this app is installing are NOT legit Google apps. Since Huawei is providing the unlock code for the mate 30, do it the right way and get the real gapps, not this hacked Chinese bull****
better wait for better options. im currently using mate 20 pro. and interested in upgrading to mate 30 pro.. waiting only on the gms issue and work around.
Seems the door to install Google apps may have been closed today.

Play Store Not Updating Apps on Multiple Devices Help

I'm finding multiple apps are not allowing updates in the play store. It's always the same apps that are an issue. First it was one app, then two, now I'm up to four. It's always the same applications that refuse to update. If I click update it'll start the download and then randomly stall at a certain amount and hang. I have to cancel the download or it sits in eternity on downloading and hangs at a certain amount (usually in the 80-98% range). Any ideas why?
I've tried the following to troubleshoot and none seem to fix it:
- Clear data/cache and relaunch the Play Store (including with reboot of device)
- I've tried on a stock non-rooted OnePlus 6T (my personal device on Android 10)
- I've tried on my wife's rooted OnePlus 6 (which is under a different login I might add and running Android Pie)
- I've teried on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 (custom AOSP Pie based ROM)
They all have the same issue. I'm getting concerned it's slowly effecting more and more apps. All three devices otherwise work fine without issue. I'm perplexed.
See photo below how it's hanging on one and the other I cancelled it still sitting hanging. Those apps in the picture are all the apps that will not update.
