Question Samsung finance plus - Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

How to get rid of samsung finance plus app before the emi is complete.. I need the se ure folder for office use.

This is illegal and is not possible

This is what happens when you finance a phone. If you don't like it then pay it off. I never finance a phone, the terms are ridiculous plus the security hoops you have to deal with so they make sure they get their money.

Need help with a new phone

Like many, I am in cost containment mode. That being said, I am still a small business smart phone user (run my own solo business). I have had a Blackberry Curve for Verizon Wireless, which is coming up on contract in a week. I had downgraded in the last year from the corporate data (exchange) package for my small business, to the $29 data package, as I moved my solo business to Google Apps. I only use my device to check email, use my calender, and texting for the most part.
I am looking for the cheapest solution to get the most out of my google apps setup. An Android OS phone would be nice as I could easily synch my calender and email, but I am trying to save on the data package. I was looking at a decent messaging phone, as my wife’s plan on her LG Voyager is a little cheaper than mine, even with data ($10 a month for her as I recall). Would the XV 6900 be an option for me without the data package, or should I simply settle for a crappy messaging phone?? Could anyone suggest a possible option without shelling out too much for a new phone?
Thanks for the help!

The Vogue (XV6900) is a viable option since you could use Android on it. I would go with that if I were you.
if your contract is up and you want to pay less than you are with verizon go with a different carrier because verizon is pretty expensive.

[Q] Verizon Employee discount - Do they verify if i order online?

So using my work email, I can get discounts on VZW. My question is, do they require me to send proof to get that discount (like a badge, or pay stub)?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum.

[Q] Payout for apps to multiple people?

A coworker and I have decided to build an app together, we are certainly not a company and dont plan to be.
But I am the one with the google account so the sales will be attached to me come tax season. Does anyone know how I go about paying my coworker properly and make sure we also both get taxed properly.
Or is there someway to add him to my google account?

Samsung Pay on the Gear LTE requires it on the phone also

From the AT&T user manual...
Note: You must first register cards to Samsung Pay on your connected smartphone. For more information, refer to the mobile device’s user manual.
So no Samsung phone, no Samsung Pay on your Gear because Samsung Pay currently doesn't work on anything but flagship-class Samsung phones.
Thanks for the information, that's what I was very curious about.
With no disrespect intended, are you posting this based on personal experience? I'm asking because there's a lot of speculation, based on conflicting information posted online, and we're now (hopefully today) at the point where we should be able to get first hand accounts.
I have spoken with Samsung via chat. Picked up my watch this am. Chat guy says the Samsung pay app for non-Samsung phones will be released next week. He said it will show up in the gear app.

Here is a screenshot from my chat today with Samsung. They state an update will be available by the end of the month

Seriously? A chat with a minimum wage CSR that's likely in an Asian offshore call center? The same CSR's that have no idea about today's launch delivery schedule? What I posted was right out of AT&T's Gear S3 LTE user manual. I'd go with that over a chat with a CSR.
That said, if Samsung is launching Samsung Pay for non-Samsung phones app that's a whole different discussion. When/if that happens certain TBD non-Samsung phones can provide the tethering support necessary for Samsung Pay to work on the Gear. When/if is a big deal though. Samsung Pay for the Gear S2 was announced when it was launched. It took a year for it to be released. Hopefully Samsung Pay for non-Samsung phones doesn't suffer the same fate timing wise. It's kind of an interesting model when/if it comes to be. A NFC only Pixel owner with Samsung Pay installed could suddenly have MST access via their Gear in a gazillion more places. That can't make Google who is pushing Android Pay very happy.
But the reality is, until a non-Samsung phone Android Samsung Pay app is launched, Samsung Pay on the Gear S3 won't work without a Samsung flagship phone associated with it.

Breathe. It'll be OK.
No one says it's currently working I've asked multiple people and get the same answer. Take it for what it's worth. Multiple tweets from @samsungpayus say the same thing.
If it's only NFC and MST then oh well, buy something else if you're not satisfied.
There is a Samsung Pay app in the Gear App that is separate from the Samsung Pay app that runs on a Samsung smartphone. I can't say whether or not it works on non-Samsung phones because I have a Galaxy S7 but it is definitely a separate app. (I had to register my card in it, even though the card was already registered in the Samsung Pay app on my phone.)

Customer Service and Samsung Trade-in, PLEASE HELP!!

Hello Forum,
I'm interestted in the S10 preorder offer and I've been contacting Samsung customer service to get some info about the trade-in program and their answers has been completely contradictory. I've called at least 4 times and every time I received a different answer.
My case is that I have an S8+ that I would like to trade, I have this phone with tmobile under an EIP and still have some payments left on it.*In the trade-in FAQ here:*https://www.samsung.com/us/trade-in/frequently-asked-questions/* ...... you can read:
"The device I’m trading in is one that I bought using an equal payment or other financing plan, and I still have payments left on it. Can I still trade it in?
Yes – however, please note that all remaining payments on the device you’re trading in are your responsibility. You may also be subject to additional fees. Check with your current carrier for details."
However, every time I talked with the customer servive reps at Samsung they give me a differet answer, some says that I have to pay in full, another say no need, other say they can not guarantee that I will meet the requirements ..... whats happening here?? Its really confusing and I'm shocked with the lack of knoledge and / or training of the Samsungs CSRs.*
Anyone can help, PLEASE?? Anyone with a real experience about this matter?? I would appreciate any input ....... Thanks a lot!!
I'm wondering the same. Cant pass up $550 for a note 8 trade in. Sounds to good to be true. I went ahead and ordered and will take my chances. If they low ball me or wont take it then i'll have them send it back. I could send my s8+ but they only want to give $200 or maybe its $300 for that. It's paid for from ATT and sim unlocked. I'd rather keep that around as a spare. It's worth $300. The note 8 is not worth $550, hopefully they'll take it. It's still on someones ATT account because they wont let me unlock it. Said i still owed. I bought it new in box for $50 right before the Note 9's came out lol. Been using it as my daily driver. Someone probably got the buy one get one free deal then decided they wanted some Crack too. In the right place at the right time.

If it's under an EIP, then you can trade it in. (Logic is you technically own the device, just being financed) However, once traded in, your monthly fee for the device is still due each month even though you no longer have the phone. (Until it's paid in full) So at some point you will need to pay off the phone regardless
If you're under something like JUMP by t-mobile, these types of phones are considered leases, and are ineligible for trade-ins due to the fact they need to be returned to the provider at the end of their terms.
As far as requirements, mainly that the IMEI / ESN are clean. If at some point you failed to continue making payments or such and the device is blacklisted, they may deduct/charge back/return device.
It also depends if you plan on staying with T-Mobile or not. You'd be unable to port out your number with a EIP attached to it without paying off the device in full.
