SM-W2015Is there any way to upgrade to system 5.0? - General Questions and Answers

I have been trying to upgrade version 5.0, although I use don't use samsung's upgrade software, you can upgrade from 4.4.4 upgrade to version 5.0?

Does anyone know how to do this?TAT

IMO to replace an existing Android OS by a newer version both a suitable Custom Recovery ( like TWRP ) and a device matching Custom ROM ( like LOS ) is needed.

MT-L09 B137 update and root

Hello,
I want to root it ,but if it is possible then to install a newer version of android first. I currently have 4.4.2 .
I saw SRKTool only work with 6.0 . kingroot hasn't work. I did unlooked the bootloader (afterwards).
So, if I saw correctly , there is no OTA update for the firmware, just full firmware to install , from here :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/general/huawei-mt7-l09-l10-stock-firmware-ota-t3275784
But any full firmware (6.0) would work , right?
And there is no TWRP 2.7.8.0 for my specific version, but generally for android 4.4.2 , there is . So, I am too afraid to install it right now.
Is it justified ?
There is also a tool that installs MT7_CWM_CN_EN for android 4.4.2 on this device (don't have a link) . should it work?
Thanks,
Eyal

Please clear first you want to upgrade or root..?
if You want to root then no need to upgrade Android to have root simply flash custom recovery eg: twrp for kitkat that's it when you flashed it before reboot it'll ask to install supersu you can also flash supersu by yourself just flash twrp recovery then flash supersu.zip
Twrp for kitkat

Need further help please ask...:good:
"Thanks. I got it myself, when I stopped worrying and installed twrp. No way to update without erasing my data, I see.

How can I put Android 11 on a rooted phone ?

I'm going to root my phone (Motorola One Fusion+). After that I want to put Android 11 on it, because it is running Android 10 currently.
So I am asking how can I put Android 11 on it after I root it ?
To upgrade a phone's Android it's not required that Android got rooted.

I want to root it anyway.
So I use TWRP to put Android 11 on the device, okay.
Two more questions:
-Where I can find Android 11 installment to download ?
-To install Android 11 before rooting or after rooting ? Or it doesn't matter ?
You
1. Install TWRP
2. Via TWRP flash a Custom ROM ( based on Android 11 ) like LineageOS what must at 100% match your phone
If flashed Custom ROM isn't already pre-rooted then you root it

Room android 10 or later for oukitel k6 is posibile?

I have android 8.1 Roon arm64 a only MT6763v/v , 6g ram
If you can unlock phone's bootloader, &
if you find a Custom Recovery ( like TWRP ) that's suitable to phone, &
if you can find a Custom ROM ( like LineageOS ) that's suitable to phone
then you can try to upgrade phone to Android 10 or higher.

I need a little help with rom

Can you flash android 12 based Evolution x rom to twrp 3.6.0?

Is it okay or i can only use android 11 based custom roms?
TWRP is a Custom Recovery and NOT a Custom ROM.

What i mean is I'm going to flash android 12 based custom rom which is evolution x, i am wondering if there will be a error because twrp is not yet compatible with android 12
TWRP doesn't depend on Custom ROM you intend to flash, but on version of existing Android OS you want to have TWRP installed on.

So it's okay?

SM-J710FN downgrade binary or downgrade adrod 8.1.0 to 6.0.1

Is there any way to downgrade binary 6 to 3 or just downgrade android oreo to marshmallow (ik its the same thing)
If someone ask "why?" touchwiz
It is not possible to lower the binary. This is what it was introduced for.
If the phone allows you to unlock the bootloader and flash TWRP and Custom ROM, then you can try to find a ROM based on an earlier firmware version, but it will no longer be a fully trusted firmware.
