G910N -> G900N - LG Velvet Questions & Answers

I have LM-G910N (Korean) variant of Velvet and I want to crossflash it to G900N (Korean). When I tried it in LGUP i get an error saying 0x6004 caymanlm_fg > caymanlm. I am using LGUP version 1.16.0.3 with common dll 1.0.40.2
Both Velvet 5G and LTE have the exact same hardware in Korea. Same CPU same ram size etc.
Am I doing something wrong?

D.I.Y. Upgrade Stylo to Nougat

I have the LG K520K carrier-locked (Optus) with MM and I just upgraded to Nougat using LG-Uppercut

You can use KDZ files from LG Firmwares.com regardless of nationality, I used the South African KDZ for my phone. The upgrade also unlocked my phone from Optus.
I just learned that Uppercut has a Trojan, use it to upgrade your phone but then delete it and run an ADW scan.

Can you change the firmware region from Korean to Australian?

Hey guys, i bought the Korean version of the V50 Thinq, what im wondering is can I flash another firmware, specifically the australian version, over to get rid of the Korean options and bloat? Im assuming if you can, that the dual screen will still work? As there is an Australian version of the phone with the attachment. And ideas?
Now, there is no suitable dll file for V50 to flash KDZ using LG UP.

Solved in another thread.

LG V40 405EBW couldn't catch signal.

I flashed my lg v40 with hkg 0922 kdz via lgup 1.16. No issue during flashing but when it started up, it couldn't catch the signal. Network locked to 22 and couldn't do the network search. I'm in Canada.
The phone was bought from Amazon unlocked international. Model LM-405EBW from HKG.

can't enable wifi calling on LM-G900UM

I have a velvet LM-G900UM. I would like to enable wifi calling, but the option is grayed out. Software version shows as G900UM20m.
I'm wondering if changing the firmware to one of those listed on this page will solve my problem?

If so, which would I use? I'm a rookie....totally clueless.
You can try European LM-G900EM Firmware using patched LG Up Tool.
i noticed that under the link that i provided above, there are firmware versions that say "Open" in the description....does anyone know if that indicates lack of AT&T locks in the software?
when i try to run lg up, i get a failure message. i tried using uppercut, and i see the phone connected, select the firmware file, and when I start, it shows progress going to 4% and then the software crashes (windows). I have read other threads indicating a similar problem. i was trying to change the firmware to G900UM20j_00_OPEN_CA_OP_1027.kdz
do i need to do something else prior to using lg up, maybe unlock bootloader? i've turn on unlock and usb debug in system options, and also turned off usb debug....no difference.
i have not tried flashing to the european firmware...i wanted to try the canadian version that has "OPEN" in the name, hoping that it might not have the at&t controls/locks.
