Hi everyone! I want to buy a new phone and I'm in for these 3. I'm a moderate user, focused mostly on YouTube and Netflix, some games (arena of valor mostly), and general Web use. I want a good screen, good battery life and decent performance. Mi8 don't have a headphone jack, but have a AMOLED display. I don't know about the quality of pocophone screen, and the Mi9T screen seems to be so gorgeus. Anyway, what you can tell about this three, especially for videos and games?
Get the poco add me on aov my name is GRAZED
Mate, go to a store, look at the phones your interested in and make a decision...
Each persons view is unique and what sells me a phone may be unimportant to you... You will probably find people here are a little biased towards the Pocophone. If you go to those other phone forums you will probably get most people saying to get their phone as they will be biased there, and most people won't downtalk their product (unless it's REALLY bad) due to the fact we like to think our product/advice is best...
There is a myriad of videos on youtube extolling the virtues/problems with each phone...
In the end it comes down to you...
lets reverse the analysis
why you should not buy Mi8 (over Pocof1)
- it has similar soc
- no 3.5mm jack
- no expandable storage
- lower battery
- same big notch like pocof1
why you should not buy mi9
- where its SD855 & larger Screen to Pocoft & Mi8.... the battery is even smaller than Mi8
- No 3.5mm jack &
-no expandable storage
- the chipset has broken in to more complex setup where 2.4ghz x1 single and rest stays on lower end unless required, perhaps this way mi9 is saving batter
- poco f1 &mi8 chips set is gold/sliver plated but mi9 specs on gsmarena doesn't mention any such
now why you should buy POCO f1 in 2019..?
- other MI successors are usually missing headfone jack and expandable storage (this is v imp for me / i don't know about u )
- with a few niptuck differences on mi8 / mi9 you will pay more on these devices where Poco f1 is relatively cheaper now.
- soon 5g devices will be out THEN it makes more sense to upgrade and if you buy Mi8/mi9 .. they both are 4g devices only then you will left with no choice to force upgrade yourself! , so its better to buy Poco f1 on cheaper prices NOW so that by next 6-9 months when market is saturated with 5g devices you can easily upgrade.
another angle for pocof1
- local shops have many accessories and you will able to find covers/wallets/protectors etc (poco f1 screen protector is same as Iphone XR ) ( my poco has Iphone XR 9h strong screen protector, fits 99% accurately!
- POCO F1 is Very popular device (after Redmi Note5 / 5+ / 5pro) and XDA has so much on Pocof1 already, many rom, methods, easy to root tips! where for Mi8/mi9 you will have to wait many weeks for developers to release stable roms! ,,
i always check these things before buying any device(s)
dont buy anything from xiaomi see damn freeze thread and youll see the pain if you got corrupt xiaomi device like ****y poco

i have used mi 9t, mi8 and poco and i can say mi 9t is the better option overall. Especially with with your use, there are no reasons to buy mi8 or poco, because arena of valor run smoothly on mi 9t and is the better option to play it thanks to the gorgeous display it has

There is no reason buying MI 9T if its not PRO. Poco and MI 8 actually the same but MI8 is a flagship and gives better experience using of it... but at the same time it has lower battery capacity. Im using Poco F1 for 7 months for now and thats the best phone i've ever used just because of SD845. So i definately recommend it.
I have the Pocophone F1 and I would say it is a decent phone.
I'm gonna say between Poco F1, Mi 8 and Mi 9t, there's not much difference. But i'll try to look at the best feature in them.
Mi 8? It has the Super AMOLED, corning glass 5, HDR10 screen, best screen. Great camera (+telephoto, OIS), sufficient enough. SD845 Adreno 630 on par with Poco F1.
Mi 9T? The latest device. AMOLED, corning glass 5 screen. Camera is supposed to be the best. 48MP (+telephoto, ultrawide), under display fingerprint (if you like that, idk for me). Headphone jack. USB OTG is there to compensate for the less expandable storage. 18w 4000 mAh battery.
Poco F1? SD845. Expandable storage, headphone jack, stereo speakers, USB OTG, 18w 4000mAh (QC 3.0) battery. The lowest cost among these three, or probably the same cost as Mi 9T (depends on your country, idk)
Of course there's pros and cons between them. And I saw a lot of pros in Mi 9T that actually makes me eager to get it (if only I hadn't buy Poco) Anyway choose one that fits you.

my poco works perfect? might be some of your apps making device hang..
you need to explain what's installed and which rom you are using? even Miui10 which build? ( Stable (china/global) / developer (china/global) ) (rooted /nonrooted?) etc
Don't believe any positive comments about poco here. Poco is one of the ****ty device i have ever seen. It has famous touch issue that's still not solved and can't be solved through software updates. Camera is below avg. Phone hits up when its a plastic body. Durability is bad. Software updates are bad. Only battery backup is good because of it's large battery capacity.
Have my poco since it was out, am very pleased with it, no problems what so ever. Will trade it up for mi9t pro once it is released.

I am fine with my POCO so far!
Keep in MIND that POCO is NOT flagship device ! and like any other high mid range android devices it has pros and cons! but you are highlighting CONS only! ?
-POCO is highly managable and xda has many roms/mods! since i am using my Poco on HAVOC I don't have hanging problem but I had used poco on MIUI initialy and It was fine too!
- camera is OK, the highlight of this fone was never camera, infact the camera is better than many midrange Xiaomi Phones
- All phones heats up! but the good part is , on havoc , even the phone feels hot on touch! it never hangs!
- yes i have noticed touch problems BUT on Franco/Twisted loop kernels because they had been changing kernel drivers , and even on franco, the touch problem is rare and if you switch on / off screen, it fixes it self! however if I use any other kernel, it stays just fine!
I have adjusted myself to many devices because of their limitations! but poco is so far best device that i have able to customized according to my wishes

you are forgetting the main thing. we have no enough time for unlocking bootloader, flashing rom, modification etc etc. we are giving our hard money to Xiaomi not xda devs. xda devs are best in all way. we want the best in stock like OnePlus did.
all of us don't know how to flash roms and not even interested. we got poor lcd panel and they should admit that. instead of it we are being told to remove screen guard to solve touch issue. this is bulls*** man.
poco isn't flagship but not even close to flagship killer dude.
look because u watch netflix get mi9T global verison because its support widvine L1 and it will support HD playback i am useing pocophone f1 even after they add the widevine support its doesn't play hd so i think it should be on the phone from the factory to work and mi 9 also has the same support with better soc but less battery so choose between thoes 2 forget about pocophone the screen not good with video playback

TLDR: Buy the Mi 9T, don't even wait for the Pro version. You won't miss anything on the Pro given your declared use-cases, all of those that you mentioned you can do on the 9T + more money for you because it's significantly cheaper.
Here are the things I noticed about the Mi 9T:
1. As we all know, the build and the cooling system of the Mi9T-series were spec'd to deal with SD855 high-performance SoC which is and certainly an overkill for the SD730.
2. As explained in #1, what you would get is significantly higher run-time for the performance cores + GPU on full load (max clocks) when you have a lower TDP SD730 SoC.
3. SD730 also sips power at full load and is overall having lower power consumption (then the Pro) which also converts to longer run time per single full charge.
Remember that you have a phone with passive cooling which could always be saturated especially during summer. The question is that for how long before saturation? Simple, SD730 would take longer time to saturate a cooling system designed for SD855, that's it. I always notice people getting disappointed gaming on a phone with SD845 (for example) and got mad because it could easily throttle at FULL LOAD, where is the liquid cooling? What the cooling system is doing? My answer would be: With great power comes faster passive-cooling saturation.
Forget Mi8, very small battery for gaming, lowest runtime of the 3.
Forget Poco, it's overkill for your use-cases (SoC-wise) and it's camera is dated and offers less utility as compared to the cameras of the Mi9T.
Buy the Mi9T, it's best for the price and the use-cases you have stated. I also has the overall highest battery run-time of the 3.
Oh, the Mi9T Pro? Forget it, just buy a Mi9T with the biggest storage space and call it a day.
I am using a POCO F1 since September 2018. It had its own set of problems like screen touch issues etc.
Right now you should go with Mi9T because:
1. Better Screen. Poco screen is **** literally. If you dont bother about touch issues, even then the poco's display is very average.
2. SD730 is more than enough for a 1080p screen. Although Sd845 is stronger on paper, you wont make out much difference in performance unless you are into heavy gaming.
3. Design.. Poco's design sucks literally.
4. You get better camera, same battery but more power efficient chipset leading to a longer battery life.
5. Mi9T loudspeaker is louder than poco's speaker.( Poco's secondary speaker is barely audible and just for the surround effect)
6. Mi9T will get updates longer.
Poco will have less resale value now.
Unless you are into gaming, avoid poco f1. But beware that none of these will play Netflix in HD.
However if you can wait a bit and willing to spend extra, get the pro version.will be worth it.
DISCLAIMER: I am using the Indian variant of the model and hence some stuff may be different for you
So i was a Poco X3 Pro user until about a month ago when my motherboard died and since they couldn't get a replacement motherboard for my device nor was poco x3 pro available as a replacement, I was being offered the Redmi Note 10 Pro, I was furious as that is a serious downgrade from my Poco X3 Pro and after some bickering I had to pay around 3000 INR extra for a Poco X4 Pro
I am using the 8/128gb variant for about a week now and here is what I have to say
This is a massive, no. HUMONGOUS downgrade from the Poco X3 Pro in probably every way possible
Camera: the global variant comes with a 108 MP main camera, however the Indian variant only gets a 64 MP main camera!
Obviously the snap 695 doesn't support 4k video recording but I did hear that it supports 1080p 60 fps recording however for some reason xiaomi only allows 1080p 30 fps
So please do not try to record videos on this device
Photos - Since I have a 64mp main camera it might be different for you
Seriously? The quality of photos better on my 4yr old Oppo F9 Pro
Performance: obviously quite a downgrade from Poco X3 Pro, lags and stutters are very noticeable
Poco X3 Pro could run Genshin Impact at Highest graphic settings at around 40-45 fps
Poco X4 Pro, just no don't even try you can literally count the frames on your screen
Thought it would be good as they literally just said during their Poco X4 Pro reveal that the massive sale for their X3 Pro was because of its performance
Display - Although it doesn't support 4k I am satisfied with the 120Hz Amoled display
but I do face a weird problem every now and then
I feel like the display is too sensitive
I hold my phone when using landscape mode with 4 fingers and sometimes when my fingers just get a bit close to the screen but not touching the screen it thinks I am touching the screen and performs tasks according to it
for example while watching yt this happens and the video either gets forwarded by 10s or goes backward by 10s
Battery: Good battery life and the fast charging is pretty nice
Overall
I don't exactly think this is worth your money...
atleast not the Indian variant
Indians are crazy for performance as 90% of them play demanding games
p.s when I got the phone it was running Miui 13.0.2 and like 5-6 hours later I got the miui 13.0.4 update and it's laggier than 13.0.2
atleast for me
also would like to know how the Non Indian variant of the device is
Global version here with 108mp cam. Granted I've never bothered for mobile gaming as I use consoles/pc for that but I've had zero lag and stuttering, screen is awesome, speakers are great, SOT is 2 days with moderate usage, camera pretty good once you use a modified gcam and I've got no interest in taking videos so lack of recording in 4k doesn't worry me.
I think people are quick to complain about a phone that's only just been released and the stock apps/firmware need some work. Just said on a previous thread - after installing MIUI EU, rooted and running multiple magisk mods I'm more than happy... People knew the processor was mid range before purchasing so stating it's slower than a high end SD processor is kind of obvious right? This phone is a decent and it focused on different areas than the previous model which has attacked some people and put off others.

Great to hear that the global variant is better than the Indian one, personally I'm not a heavy gamer too I just put in the part of performance since Poco during their x4 pro reveal just said that the massive sale of their x3 pro was due to its good performance and well then they just took a 360° turn and were like here we do not care
Gcam does make the camera a bit better but the Indian variant has a 64mp camera compared to the 108 on the global one so that's sad
have been able to get rid of a few stutters on the UI by installing Poco launcher 4
about the speakers
Is it just me or is the sound too low?
but the clarity is pretty good
edit: I'm not so interested in 4k recording but hoped a 1080p 60 fps recording would be possible

Hmmm I usually keep my speakers about halfway because they are very loud (and have decent quality imo) I further increased my quality by installed jamesdsp and with the speaker profile I use a viper DDC file called arise-army. I use a custom version for my Bluetooth audio too

I got the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus Indian variant because thats the only one available right now unofficially. From what I heard its the only one that will come officially too. From what I've seen the performance is really good. I can play every single high graphics game at good fps. Genshin too runs 40-45 on medium settings. Its a great balanced processor if you're looking for a phone that you can game and take great pictures with. Usually if you go for a gaming device everything is sacrificed for the soc but, at least on the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, you get a great soc for gaming and emulation (Can emulate PS2 and Wii games with 60fps!!!), a great looking if a bit fragile body and a good main camera sensor (same as previous gen Note 10 Pro Max) and awesome battery life with fast charging to boot.
Coming from the X3 Pro to the X4 is a definite downgrade but coming from Redmi Note 10 Pro Max it is definitely an upgrade.
Coming from a 2019 $100 phone here — the experience has been very good compared to my old daily driver. Everything's smooth and the camera's really comparable to a flagship with some drawbacks of course. However knowing that the hardware is a heavy downgrade from its predecessor, I'm starting to have second thoughts on this one. Sure the AMOLED screen and 5G is great and I don't really do mobile gaming as my iPad does the job for me but no 4K recording and playback? Heck, 1080p60 recording isn't even possible. Genshin Impact runs barely 30 FPS on lowest settings. I'm a bit disappointed. I definitely should've done more research on my part.

from a 2019 $100 this is definitely a massive upgrade
sadly camera is no where close to flagship store infact it's worser than almost all devices in this price range (excluding devices with the snap695 ofc)
It's predecessor was a one of thing
it didn't last long though as it had major flaws like severe ghost touch and hard bricking randomly due to cheap PMIC
but for performance it could easily beat devices tha cost 2x the price
it was a beast in terms of gaming
if you got rid of the perf kernel you're basically looking at a standard laptop
with LYB kernel i managed to always maintain an fps above 50 on the max graphics possible in Genshin Impact
Sadly the 5G aspect is totally useless to me as my country doesn't even provide stable 4g speeds so 5g isn't coming any time soon
Screen is good with a two small (most likely software based) flaws being flickering and backlight bleeding
4k video recording is even available on rather cheaper devices nowadays so yeah that's a bummer
You can actually record at 1080p 60 fps using Gcam but it's actually more of a 1080p 45 fps
Happy with the 1080p amoled display
if it was 4k then it would be an lps display
and people think that amoled 1080p displays are better than 4k lps ones but this controversial so I'd rather just leave it at that
(I personally like 4k lps)
Gaming (like real gaming not just candy crush level stuff) is sadly almost impossible on this device with it even lagging severely in apex legends mobile on the lowest possible graphics
But hey it could be saved by 3rd party development though the chances do seem slim as of now since the account that used to release kernel sources for Xiaomi devices has been inactive for a while now
i kind of feel like the device was a flop
you can disagree and it's totally fine but just look at how poco went back to the performance before everything else standard on the Poco F4
I saw this video focusing on various Poco X4 Pro problems including problems with display, camera, fingerprint scanner, microphone and lagging problem on the phone.
<Moderator Edit>: Self-promoting video link deleted.
Can someone explain the Poco X4 Pro Display problem in the video where we can see backlight bleeding on black images under low brightness in dark rooms, Poco X4 Pro camera problem and microphone problem where the camera lags when choosing between various camera modes and how the microphone problem is present whereby the quality of audio recorded by video camera is very poor.
The only problem that I've experienced so far is the Poco x4 pro lagging problem and Poco x4 pro heating problem is also present when playing games like Call Of Duty or PUBG.
I want to check my phone for these problems and get a refund before it is too late if I'm having these.
So my question is where the problems mentioned in the video can be solved by software updates or not ?
Also are these problems present on all Poco X4 Pro phones ?
Sounds like you're having to thoroughly test a phone in strange conditions to look for a problem that doesn't effect you... Can't say I've got any issues with my phone. Fast enough and fluid - use my phone alot at night time and haven't noticed screen bleeding on a pure black image etc but I've not gone out of the way to look either. No lags swapping between camera modes, not a phone gamer so don't care about overheating either.
<Moderator Edit>: Adjusted quote to reflect changes to the OP.

Display Issues - Yes indeed black is not true black under the circumstances mentioned in the video however this is because of just Miui stuff that enhances colors and tries to make stuff look better haven't found it on the (unofficial) Pixel Experience Plus rom
Camera Lag - yes have noticed camera lags and stutters and overall being not so smooth of an experience but i recommend you to use a Gcam as it has none of those problems and even lets you record videos at 1080p 60fps unlike Miui camera
Quality of audio recorded - Okay seriously? That was just dumb his phone might be 2 years old but the price is still more than twice than that of Poco X4 Pro so obviously it would be ahead
Gaming - Unfortunately this is not a gaming device they call it the "All around ace" but i don't see where is the all around ace in the phone?
The branding of this phone is so bad...
People will think since Poco X3 Pro was a beast of a gaming device the X4 Pro would be even better but no not in the slightest
Refund - if you want to you can... there really are better devices for this price segment
remember a good processor can make a lot of stuff good like camera quality, audio processing etc
Can these issues be fixed with a software update
Cough Poco X2, X3, F2 cameras just dying after a software update with no fix even after so long
Cough Cough Poco X3 Pro hard bricking due to system updates and no fix even after so long
Don't you worry mate Miui will come to your rescue to fix every problem you have!
Is it worth getting the Poco X4 Pro?

Depends really
If you're living in the Asian countries there's several manufacturers providing you a better buck for your money e.g Iqoo
but if you wanna definitely buy a Xiaomi product then going for the Mi 11X which costs just a tiny bit more than the X4 Pro
Even the 6gb ram variant is far better due to the snapdragon 870 being a beast
In my opinion go for any device that has a snapdragon 8 series processor or the 778G
A processor matters a lot in a device
A good processor can accomplish several tasks with ease
E.g camera quality will be better and you'll most likely have 4k recording
Audio processing better
Rendering is better
Everything will look better since a better GPU
Overall better performance
But if you've already bought the device and thinking if it was worth your buck
imo not really... It lacks several features devices have in this price range even though people coping that this is a great deal
Never trust in the 5g gimmicks people will keep on telling u that the snap 480 5g or the 695 5g processors are amazing but that is a heck of a lie those are old processors overclocked but still way behind the league

Thank you for this detailed information, I was still planning to get this phone but as you said iQoo new phones are good too for this price range and Mi 11X is expensive for my budget Also for me display to matters because I hate the LCD in budget phones, AMOLED is good for eyes! I'm going to see the best budget phone with good specs and with snapdragon 8 processors as you said.

No problem mate!
I recommend you to stay away from Poco in general though
Their specifications might look very appealing but almost every single phone of theirs has had a major flaw without any explanation provided by Poco
E.g X2, X3, F2 cameras just dying after a system update no fix even after almost 2-3 years
Poco X3 Pro which I'd say is the most appealing phone ever made...
Hard bricking after system update due to low end PMIC's
No fix after almost 2 years
side note: i was a Poco X3 Pro user until about 4-5 months ago when my Poco X3 Pro died after getting Miui 13 update
Luckily still 2 months of warranty was still left but it took almost 2 months to get a replacement and i got the X4 Pro
They were gonna give me the Redmi Note 9 which was absolutely disgusting compared to the X3 Pro so after a few fights here and there and paying about 50$ i got the X4 Pro...

The dark mode problem is in hardware or software? Because, in recovery mode, fastboot mode and on first boot poco logo, the display shows pure original black... But when it starts up on miui logo, display's upper side bocomes lcd black not amoled black.. so, what the problem basically is? On software or hardware?
@Mrajhacker0 I've closed this thread. Check the PM I've sent you.
Hello
I'm interested in buying this phone. I plan to import it from china but have many questions if anyone is kind enough to help:
1. How will network connectivity be in the UK? I'm on EE & only really use 3g & 4g. I don't use 5g. Is signal strength strong? Data speeds fast?
2. How is the overall camera experience? YouTube & online reviews are giving mixed opinions. Some are saying the colour is off, some are saying it's perfect & the best camera phone atm.
3. Is the front camera really bad? I know it doesn't have 4k which is actually ridiculous considering this is a high end device, but, how's the overall performance of the front camera?
4. How is the battery life? Especially when compared to the likes of s22 ultra, mi11 ultra, vivo x80 Pro etc?
5. Have Xiaomi released any significant updates for the 12s Ultra? Any updates that have made the experience better, whether it's for battery life, performance or camera?
6. As the 12s ultra is a china only device, does Google services work properly? Do notifications work properly? Banking apps? I don't use Android auto so not fussed about that. Are there any services/apps that won't work in the UK on this phone? Or does Google services run perfectly?
7. Are you happy with your 12s ultra? If you could swap your 12s ultra for any other phone of the same value, would you do it or would you say that for the price range, the 12s ultra is the best in it's class?
Finally, am I better off getting the 11 ultra or waiting for the Xiaomi 13 or just going for the 12s ultra? I heard that the 11 ultra has horrible battery life, is this true or have recent updates made the 11 ultra battery life better ?
I'll try to give you a complete answer as I can I have this phone since last month, I live in Israel and I use 5G but 5G here is awful in my area (same speed as 4G) even though I have a 5G plan but that is a different conversation,
I have the Verdant Green 12/512 Version I bought it for $1225 from Aliexpress:
1). I don't live in the UK so I cannot say, here the signal is good, even on 4g and 3g (there is no 2g in my carrier so I can't test that), I do have an issue of calls suddenly dropping for no reason (bug in software I assume)
2). The main camera is awesome, the camera experience is super fast and launches very very quickly and snaps shots very fast, also the camera is very detailed, the ultrawide and telephoto are of a lesser sensor and quality is lower obviously, if you don't mind the quality difference between all 3 then it is great camera, front camera is decent too
3), The camera is decent, does the job, yeah it's max 1080p30fs but it's enough for video calls and still selfie (most use of selfie camera), unless you are a phone vlogger you won't mind the resolution and quality
4). Battery life is great for android flagship type phone, why I write android flagship type phone? since there are tiers in phones with different battery life between all of them, iPhone 13 pro max for example is killing with battery life compared to android flagships, only android Midrangers can compete with iPhone 13 pro max, if you come from android flagships you will be satisfied, if you come from recent android Midranger or lower tier, the battery life is worse, to be expected since this chipset is very powerful but also power hungry, I have the mi 11 ultra before this phone, it was decent with battery life and not too good, the reason is the 120hz screen was very power hungry and 888 chipset not efficient,
5). As of writing, I am using latest stable version 13.0.7 and it has issues, camera sometimes laggs a tiny bit when opening, caller id doesn't always work, and even saved contacts show up as numbers, keyboard gets reset to chinese keyboard with every reboot, developer settings get reset with reboot, wireless charging is limited to around ~20w and doesn't work with 50w wireless car charger pro (I have official 80w, 100w desktop chargers and 50w wireless car charger and all don't work well with this phone and they work perfect with mi 11 ultra)
6). Google is available but there are location issues in GPS sometimes, Google Pay doesn't work at all for me personally some had it work, I couldn't, google location history is not working sometimes, issues here and there
7). I am currently okay and a bit happy with the phone due to the above issues, is it perfect? no, is any phone perfect? also no, this is a china import and you need to know what you are doing in order to use it, I plan to unlock bootloader and flash Xiaomi EU rom to fix all these issues above, it should all be fixed with a custom rom that adjusts the OS to locations outside of china and with full google support, I would not swap the phone since it is very good, just needs more fixing of the above.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra can be bought for less but you have many more issues with it, the phone drains faster and overheats allot, it has proximity sensor issues so taking calls using earpiece and listening to voice messages is a pain, the 888 chipsets is a mess of overheating and battery draining, you will lose battery fast even with basic use, and video calls for long make the phone lag and very hot, I would totally not recommend the mi 11 ultra over the 12s ultra since they fixed all these issues with the 12s ultra,
Basically if you don't like messing around with phones don't get this phone since you will have to do tinkering with it to fix the issues, if you don't mind tinkering like I do it's a great phone and very good competition wise, it has great cameras too, and battery life is wonderful,
I would give it a 9/10, and I only lower its score due to the software issues stated above, after flashing a custom rom and fixing the issues above the rom will be better and it will be a 10/10 in my opinion,
this phone is an ultra phone it focuses on camera, chipset, screen and overall quality and it nails all those points great! I would totally recommend it to phone tinkerers

Thank you very much for this detailed reply. I will hold off from buying it until the eu ROM is out. Can you please update your experience on here once you've flashed the EU ROM?
My opinion. I did cleared cache and data of System launcher and after restart developer mode still stays with 13.0.7 MIUI. Need to clear AOD cache and data to have notification on AOD and lock screen.
I had before Samsung S8 Active, Gsmarena says 111hours of battery juice, no way. Ultra 12s is two times more efficent with everything on performance and max.

hi, sorry for late reply, sure I can update, currently on 13.0.8 (latest stable as of writing) phone is working great for the most part, but only xiaomi eu rom will fix all these issues
Hi, I have both the 12s Ultra and Mi 11 Ultra.
Color balance is better on 12S Ultra but to my dissappointment the Mi 11 Ultra has a better camera. Big surprise to me but how much I WANT the 12S to take better pictures that is not the case.
Having a hard time deciding if I shall sell it or if I shall keep it and hope that they will fix it in future SW releases.
It should win hands down when they bring their c2 chip online. Let's hope it's not too long.
Hi all,
I noticed that my WiFi signal and cellular reception were slightly worse on my Pixel 7 compared to my older and €300 cheaper Xiaomi Mi 8 which runs the PixelExperience ROM on A12 so I made a comparison. I'm quite disappointed with my new Pixel phone when it comes to this. Also the lack of an infrared front camera for face unlocks in the dark is something I miss dearly along with the lack of a notification LED (aodNotify just doesn't feel the same & uses more battery).
Well, attached my findings. Notice that it's in dB, so logarithmic and thus quite some difference. The phones were laying next to each other and I SIM swapped, so same provider.
Anyone else experiencing this?
