Hi,
I'm new here, and I want to make a custom firmware for my LG BL40. When I extract the .kdz file, there's a dz file. When I extract this file, there are many mbn files (like apps.mbn) and 3 .bin_1/2/3 files. It's the same with the LG GM750.
But how can I extract these .mbn files and the .bin_x files?
Thank you
Felix
is there nobody having an idea?
The little I've found is that mbn is an executable format.
Would seem to need to be decompiled.
I'm not sure on this and still looking around.

you need to use cygwin to extract files from your mbn files.

Hi
i want to know if there is a way to extract and repack the OP6 rom
i found a way to extract the zip into .img files, and found a program that can extract the .img files into standard files/folders
but i still have yet to find a way to repack the files back into a .img to flash via fastboot
can anyone help please.
The best tool is currently Super R's kitchen. Great guy and great Dev, you should support his work.

edit* Just checked, working on OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_012_all_1806140300_e4bacf signed zip
you can extract the payload.bin with payload extracter:
windows:

Yes, the tool extracts payload.bin and further extracts boot.img, system.img, vendor.img etc and allows you to work on them and will repack them after :highfive:

I'll help if I can but it's Super R's work and I'm sure he is more than happy to help if you get stuck.
there's a folder named mcfg_sw in vendor partition.
could anyone share this folder packed from op6/t for me?
i'm a op5 user,but we don't have the hvolte_o folder

try renaming the file to a different extension. like zip, mp3, or mp4 etc. it can be possible that the file extension is not correctly set by the creator.
I have downloaded my device's firmware (sharp aquos r2 706sh) it's a tar.gz file I did extract it using zarchiver but i didn't find boot.img file can someone please help me out..
What file you got after extraction?

Try to extract the .tar.gz file using 7-Zip.
You will get .tar file, and then try to extract the .tar file too using 7-Zip.

Ramdisk size: 1789254 (0x001b4d46)
