I'm new here, and I want to make a custom firmware for my LG BL40. When I extract the .kdz file, there's a dz file. When I extract this file, there are many mbn files (like apps.mbn) and 3 .bin_1/2/3 files. It's the same with the LG GM750.
But how can I extract these .mbn files and the .bin_x files?

The little I've found is that mbn is an executable format.
Would seem to need to be decompiled.

I need to extract files from the t-mobile sda ROM. I extracted the .exe file, now how do I extract files from the nk.nbf file? I a noob at this, please give simple instructions. I think it has something to do with typhoontool.exe or something. PLEASE HELP.

I don't know if this works for your device's rom(its for ipaq hx2xxx series), but you can try it:

You push the unpack button, navigate where the nbf file is, push open. The unpacked file its in the same directory as the nbf file.

If you cannot figure out what to do with RAR files, you should not even be here.
Rar's need to be extracted. Find WinRAR and extract the .nbh file.

I've extracted the files in to a phone , after this work i found AMSS.MBN and AMSSHD.MBN files , i search in internet and find cygwin software for extract .mbn files ,
my question is how i can extract .mbn files ? is any command for cygwin ? is any software or guidance for these files ?

Does anyone know how to extract the .mbn files- usually contained within the .sbf files on older Motorola firmware? I believe you can do it using Cygwin and unyaffsmbn but I haven't figured out how yet. Is there any documentation or threads on how to extract these files or the commands for unyaffsmbn? I haven't been able to find anything on this. If anyone can help me please let me know.... Thanks.

Same problem here, the tool I use easily unpacks .dat file but can't repack .img to .dat! So wierd but the problem is with nougat/oreo. You found any solution?
