Question, do you have touch sensitivity in that area of the screen? Have you tried doing a factory reset and try from scratch? I think there is a code to go to the testing menu in Samsung and you can test the touchscreen
Screen works fine with fingers. I will try with factory reset.... But. Is the same problem i have with my Note 10 S Pen on my Galaxy S 21.
It's good. Cause it helps us appreciate the decent people in the world. I was surprised by that response too. Op keep us updated

So finger touch sensitivity and SPen reception are unrelated. One can be broke and not the other.
Make sure you are test the SPen without ANY case on it, and without it on any stand. Hold the naked phone in your hand. If it works without a case, then there's a magnet in your case causing interference. Same with those magnet stands.

Brought back old memories of using really tight fitting case on older devices and it would affect touch response.
Glad my OtterBox Defender with Belt Clip doesn't have any magnets. Best way to tote this monster around is on your belt. At least you won't be sterilizing your nuts with it in your pocket.

Magnet case affect to SPen in Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22. Only the SPen not fingers and only with magnet cases without clip.

Looks good, care to post a link to where you bought it?
Problem with these is that the top and bottom are not fully covered so can't see the case protecting those parts very well.

This is the one I bought, really good case for the price. Rubber back and protects all sides, just a bit of a shame with the 2 materials being different [back and sides].

I've already got one which is the same material all they way around:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-Epik-Ca...vo-/300423044647?pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL
I wanted something that was specifically thin and didn't conceal the shape and colour of the Desire.
It's the same design as Capdase's Soft Jacket 2 Xpose Tinted
I would say it's a well designed case and fits nicely in the phone without any free play

No thats a different case. That material is on the edge of the phone case that I have so it is flexible, but the main part is a plastic material so it is solid but a rubber coating so it feels like the back of the Desire rather than being smooth. Can take a picture for you tonight if you want.
So I was always jealous of OnePlus' wooden battery covers. After realizing that the mi 5 has a removable back, I had no other choice but to buy one myself.
A brief search on ebay provided me with a few choices, and I bought a mahogany one for 9 bucks.
Of course for this price it is nowhere near wooden, but the feel and warmth are kinda same with polycarbonate, instead of the cool glass.
The shipping was terribly slow, but eventually got here, and to be honest it's not half bad. The texture is nonexistent, but the printing and smoothness makes it look like the real thing, unless inspected with macro lens. With the luphie bumper case it pairs up really good.

As it is made of polymer, it absorbs shock, but I don't think a back cover would make much of a difference when dropped, hence it usually lands on the corners. If I were you, I'd buy a bumper case or just a normal case.

Thanks in advance for anyone that happens to read and/or respond this thread.
So, my S7 slipped and fell to the floor last sunday. It didn't fall a great distance, neither did it hit the floor with violence. But on the bottom of the screen something appeared, seeming like "a bubble of air".

Should I send it to Samsung? Did I lose my water/dust resistance? And, most important, should I worry about it?
Thanks again.

Hi Mate
On top of the amoled screen is a layer of glass , it seem it broke or it detached ( cant distinguish ) , that glass is part of the water resistance scheme , most like it is compromise , I do not know is warranty will cover it.......if i am not wrong in order to fix it they will have to replace the whole display

Yeah, I mean, that's what I fear. Should I take it to Samsung?
hey bro ,
first of all i feel your pain :silly::silly:
second of all i think if you take it to Samsung they will replace the screen so you're going to lose the water/dust resistance anyways (cuz we all know that if the screen is replaced the resistance won't be as good as new at all )
so i recommend you to keep it like that and just buy a good protective case so it won't get worse if you drop it again
hope i helped

don't forget to hit the thanks button
Happened with my S6 as well, I think the layer indeed got loose there (prolly it will gather some dust and stuff).
In my case it didn;t really seem to spread further, but as it is the result of dropping it I guess you'll have to pay to fix it (for me not worth it as it was about half the price of the phone).

Mate it all depends on the cost of the fixing....if is free or cheap enough i would do it...if done by Samsung....if is too expensive i would think about it
I am looking for a suitable case for my Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021.
Ideally ones with built in Landscape and Portrait stand mode included.
Are Lenovo P11 Pad Pro cases compatible with the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021?
Yes, they share the same dimensions. If you can't find TB-J716F cases locally, try finding TB-J706F instead.
Thank you so much! That makes it much easier!

Is the thing on the back also a stand? does it work both in portrait and landscape mode?
If so, i want this case, too!

it IS truly amazing. there is a stand and a strap for your hand. both can be 360 degrees rotated, meaning you have two height available for the stand in landscape mode. for portrait, mine stays put but it moves a bit
buy one that have like a semi circle in front of the button to retract the stand or you will find very hard closing it.
That really is extremely helpful, because thats exactly what i need!
Thank you!

no problem. fyi the one I bought on aliexpress has the semi circle, while the one on amazon doesn't.
there might be cases with the semi circle on amazon, just be sure it's here.

Highly recommended.

Replace the whole phone. At least you could use the old one maybe for some parts in the future.
Unfortunately there's no way to repair a AMOLED display as it is comprised of thousands of semiconductors in its matrix that controls the individual OLEDs. The touch screen circuitry was also damaged.

This phone won't survive without a good case. Not much help now, but bear that in mind if you replace it or haven't damaged it yet. With no case they are harder to hold too... slippery fish.
There's almost zero bezel... and the only thing they do more than corner hit when dropped is face plant on the display side. The spen corner seems to take more hits than the other corners too.
