Looks good, care to post a link to where you bought it?
Problem with these is that the top and bottom are not fully covered so can't see the case protecting those parts very well.

This is the one I bought, really good case for the price. Rubber back and protects all sides, just a bit of a shame with the 2 materials being different [back and sides].

I've already got one which is the same material all they way around:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BLACK-Epik-Ca...vo-/300423044647?pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL
I wanted something that was specifically thin and didn't conceal the shape and colour of the Desire.
It's the same design as Capdase's Soft Jacket 2 Xpose Tinted
I would say it's a well designed case and fits nicely in the phone without any free play

No thats a different case. That material is on the edge of the phone case that I have so it is flexible, but the main part is a plastic material so it is solid but a rubber coating so it feels like the back of the Desire rather than being smooth. Can take a picture for you tonight if you want.

So I decided that I got tired of Samsung's infamous glossy polycarbonate fingerprint-magnet casing and decided to do something about it. I think you'll find the results below are quite stunning if I do say so myself.

Neither, if you click the main link you'll notice this is actually a vinyl wrap that applies onto the device, effectively adding almost not thickness.
A vinyl wrap? I feel like that will eventually peel or catch on the edges with long term use... in and out of the pocket and eventually start peeling

Depends how you use it. The glue on it is really thick and tough so it does not peel easy. Also they recommend to use a heat gun once you're 100% sure you want to set it the way it is so the glue melts and bonds to the plastic (doesn't actually bond but sure feels like it afterwards).
I bought this instead, well see how it is

I don't see the point in it... but here we go. (Remember it's just a Tempered glass layer on top of the phone, no magic, nothing special)
And No, I am not bothered to set up my camera tripod get some proper light on it and then make a nice picture. Sorry.

The package and all can look nice, but in the end what matters most is how good it fits on the phone, which you can only see after it's been applied on the phone.
Thanks for the pic

Well, they fit perfect, and the quality of the glass seems good.
I would say you can buy an equal (or worse) for 10$ to 20$ on Amazon or local stores. So for a price of 3$ per piece, there is nothing to complain about.
And as 3$ is so very little, you can just get it, test it and throw it away if you don't like it. No harm done.
Fitting looks good

Actually the thread is pointless if people can not see clearly how the accessory fits and looks. Nobody cares how the packaging looks, one throws it away once glass is applied properly.

Okay.
So I was always jealous of OnePlus' wooden battery covers. After realizing that the mi 5 has a removable back, I had no other choice but to buy one myself.
A brief search on ebay provided me with a few choices, and I bought a mahogany one for 9 bucks.
Of course for this price it is nowhere near wooden, but the feel and warmth are kinda same with polycarbonate, instead of the cool glass.
The shipping was terribly slow, but eventually got here, and to be honest it's not half bad. The texture is nonexistent, but the printing and smoothness makes it look like the real thing, unless inspected with macro lens. With the luphie bumper case it pairs up really good.

As it is made of polymer, it absorbs shock, but I don't think a back cover would make much of a difference when dropped, hence it usually lands on the corners. If I were you, I'd buy a bumper case or just a normal case.

Of course it does, but it's still quite good.
So, I have always hated taking a beautiful sleek phone and encasing it in thick plastic or giant black cases. With waterproofing etc phones go more places than ever but I've hated most of the semi thick case options. Bulk, feel, thickness.
Enter the TORRAS crystal clear case (Amazon). I've purchased cheap hard plastic thin cases before looking for light corner protection but ultimately a good feel and no bulk. They were OK. This thing is exactly what I want. If you're a minimalist case person. Highly reccomend.
PROS:
Matches the whitestone screen cover near perfectly. No spacing on sides (goes straight from screen protector to case) and maybe a millimeter at top and bottom)
Raised lip top and bottom for screen protection
Its slick so slides in and out of coat pockets and jeans easy yet grips enough in hand
Rubbery feel has SOME impact protection. Especially in corners.
Has seperate sections for camera and finger sensor. It has actually kept me from touching the camera 100% of the time. Don't know why others don't do this.
Dot pattern inside keeps the "wet spot" look way
Colored edges (optional) give a great look.
It was 13 bucks. It's almost a no brainer.

When new it was good with grip. After a few days and the oils built up on the case it became more slick.

Finally came the carbon (aramid) fiber case for the xiaomi 12. This looks to be made by the same manufacturer as the Oneplus one's.
Build quality and fit are top notch, same as my old OP 6 case.
Don't know if links are allowed, but bought it at aliexpress.

Nice case indeed. Looks like a little bit more special than my standard black cases. What did you pay for it?
I’m curious if it block the access of SIM card?

I paid 23€ for it delivered. Yeah they were normal black ones, but having had the same in the OP6 I wanted a little change hahahaha. Both look awesome imo.

Yeah, unfortunatelly. But being a dual sim, I don't find myself changing the sim cards regularly.
Thankfully it's pretty easy to remove and clip on. Also it protects the full body, unlike the OP ones, so that's a big plus for me. All the holes cut to perfection
Another big plus it's that it wont interfere with any screen protector, as it clips just to the frame. Now I'm looking for a good screen protector that covers all the glass. If anybody knows one, please let me know, I'll be very grateful.
I also ordered the cover, I'm still waiting. Please, is it magnetic? THX
Thanks for the hint.
Loved that case style also on my OP 6T.
Ordered one from aliexpress.

It's pure aramid fiber, so not likely.
