Not sure if anyone notice but if you are taking videos in a dark room or at night there is what appears to be a dead pixel (green dot) just above the center of the phone. However this might be a software issue because I do not see this dead pixel while taking pictures in a dark room in camera mode. But in video mode especially when the settings is at full HD 1080p you can see it clearly. If you set video settings to 960 by 540 then it is less noticeable but still there. Since it doesn't show up on camera mode I believe it could be a software issue. Could someone else try testing to see if they are having this problem also or is it just me. Just go into a dark room or place your hands over the lens and switch to video mode and set it to full 1080p. When you record in the dark you should see the dead pixel during playback. If I'm the only one then I probably need to get a new phone.
It would be incredibly helpful if you could post one more thread in relation to this matter.

I have a problem with the pictures taken with flash active, sometimes the pictures have a blue tint.

I notice that also. I admittedly haven't taken many pics with this phone but the other day I shoot a picture of the snow outside. It had a definite blue cast. I haven't had a chance to explore further. BTW, it was set on auto HDR.

I can not reproduce the problem, but I can describe the conditions under which the photo came out with a blue tint:
A) INTERIOR - 2 people full figure, white background of back-wall. On the right, out of the scene, the light of a table lamp (light bulb)
B) INTERIOR - Height of the table, to a person standing behind the table, white tablecloth, a wall of white background and halogen lights on the wall
Flash Always ON and HDR auto
It seems to be a problem with the automatic HDR. In case of Blue tint, try turning it off, seems to fix the problem!!!
I dont know if this is a Rom issue , kernel or am doing something wrong.am using Viper S 5.2.1 But wen i take pictures at night they dont come out nice at all. I have tried using the toggle flashlight feature but the light is not bright enough to illuminate properly. And if the light i use e camera flash the light is bright enough but because the picture is taken so quickly the camera doesn't focus properly.
Hi my screen crashed lost month, in service they repaired it, i installed stock cm12s, there was these settings - colour calibration, sunlight enhcement.. Then after few hours it dissapesred and even instalation of stock cm12s image didn't help.. So I tried nuclearom, jgcaap cm12.1 now iam on temasek, in jgcaap build i have only outdoor mode and color calibration was missing, so I moved to temasek and color calibration and outdoor mode is here, but iam not able to get outdoor mode in live display working (it changes screen colors saturation etc and then is screen more seenable) i tried in bright sun, i tried manually turn on this feature, but it doesnt Work. For me is this feature very important.. And also in every rom i have this fail in synapse with ak, please iam disgusted with this problem, thank you for help
For some reason after 1AM my screen gets a reddish tint to it like it would if the blue light filter was on. I've tried everything from safe mode to factory resetting and also turning the blue light filter off and on. The color filter doesn't even help either. During the day it's fine.
Whoops, wrong thread
