Hi Guys
After moving to an A12 rom, I'm not receiving text/sms messages. Is this a bug in Android 12, or is there something I can do to fix this?

I'm no expert, but have you checked your APN settings? You could either try Googling your carrier's APN settings and adjusting them, or maybe try pulling your SIM card, then rebooting your phone, then re-inserting your SIM card to let the carrier auto-configure your APN settings.
I've been in that situation before and it sucks. I'm just throwing a couple suggestions your way in case you haven't tried them yet.

Hey guys,
I just rooted my phone and I believe I unlocked it as well, however, after putting in the Tmobile SIM card,
I get this Notice:
"Non-Verizon SIM" -- Sorry, this SIM card is not supported. Please....
At the same time, although I can make calls, I can not sure the internet. No Data connection shows up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

MindArchr, thank you for taking the time and trying to help me.
I did change the APN, but I still do not get anything, but on rare occasions the Edge Network shows up.
After you changed you APN Settings, what kind of connection were you getting? 4G?
Also could you share you APN settings, if they differ from these :
Access Point Name (APN): epc.tmobile.com
MMSC Server: mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
I noticed that under Network settings for Global or GSM, the New APN feature to manually add an APN for different sim is gone. Looks like it's an auto detect feature now. I travel overseas for business alot and use pre-paid SIM cards. Not all prepaid sim cards have the data APN coded. I just found out on my trip here to Taiwan and couldn't get data on my phone because the option for adding the APN is no longer available. I tried multiple settings, different ROM's and no good. Only when I downgraded my firmware did the option come back. Glad I'm rooted, it sux, but had to downgrade and reflash back to the old 4.4.2 firmware/rUU and run custom ROM. Until this is addressed by verizon, there will be no way to manually add an APN.

Update: Figured the APN issue thing out
Thanks to member DOTTAT for giving me the direction I needed to get the APN assignment issue resolved. I just needed to do things differently for getting the APN to load up. Basically had to to to the 'Network Preferences' section to add the network my SIM cards are registered on. This is a long list to scroll through. After I selected the network, there is multiple options to add the network type (GSM,UMTS,LTE, etc.) Had to enable three different versions then reboot the phone. After, there were two APN's that automatically populated and I was able to edit. Thanks again to DOTTAT for the direction.:good:

I apologize but I did not see the steps to get the apn settings access. I've got the HTC One M7 for Verizon on 4.4.3 and can not change apn settings. What would the steps be? Thank you so much for any and all help.

I figured I'd bump this thread rather than start a new one... It seems I and many other Verizon M8 users have encountered the same problem:
I get no list of network APNs under "Network Preferences." There are zero entries, even though a message pops up to say the list is full.
I tried manually entering the MCC/MNC numbers for my carrier abroad (Claro Brazil) but this doesn't resolve the problem. I am stuck with only voice but no mobile data service.
Has anyone found a solution to this? Verizon tech support of course insists "just pop in the SIM and it should work automatically" as does the Brazilian carrier.
Does anybody know where in the phone the APN settings are stored, to edit them manually?
I recently bought a new DZ09 smart watch. As I wanted to use the browser and Facebook, etc., I inserted a SIM card. Calls and Texts work fine but I knew I'd need to set up my APN settings to be able to use data.
I googled what to do and went to my phone settings, expecting to see a section where I could enter my SIM provider's APN settings. But it was missing. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is it going to be a case of updating the firmware?
Thanks
Ditto
Usually this is in the connectivity settings
same problem is mine . in my DZ09 Smartwatch Connectivity setting missing. i wants to use internet please help me to solve my problem

Go to setting then APN setting click on option and click on reset to default. I hope these solve your problem.
My aunt just moved back to Canada, and brought her Verizon S6 with her. It was deactivated from Verizon, and activated with Telus. It does not seem to be able to send or receive pictures via text.
Can I flash Telus firmware onto the phone to fix this problem? If yes, is the process as simple as downloading Odin, and the flashing latest Telus firmware?
Thanks in advance.
So, I tried messing with the APN settings this morning, but they were essentially correct. Nothing changed.
I just tried flashing the Telus software, but it fails. I assume because the phone is a 920V, and not a 920W8.
Does anyone have any suggestions to get the MMS working?

I know you've said you have checked MMS and APN settings, can you show a screen shot of your settings or have a look at this and compare:
https://apn-canada.gishan.net/settings/988_3_telus_mobility_apn_settings_for_samsung_galaxy_s6.php
And yes you have a different variant for that firmware so your assumption is correct
Fixed. Thank you.
The very last line, "APN type" was simply entered as "default" as opposed to "default, mms."
Cheers!

I had a similar problem after 8.1 Verizon carriers like straight talk and us cellular have a issue with pixel APN settings. I had to put in a att sim card to edit my apn. After swapping sim card edit the APN but don't save until after putting your active sim card in. The att one I used was not active it came with my bring your own phone kit. I found the post up here but could not find it again to send the link. If I find the link I'll link it.

My problem was I had no APN after the update so I had to manually add one. If your able to add a new APN write down all the APN settings on the one you want to edit and make a new APN with the same settings. I was not able to add my APN until I put in the other sim. Then it let me so that might be the best case to just add a new one and delete the old one. I'm not to knowledgeable with APN settings in general so there might be a better way to edit an existing APN on the pixel. Hopefully someone with better knowledge will see the post to give better help. Ill keep seeing if I can find anything that can help.
