What are those? and what's the difference between them?
I find it online but my brain couldn't understand it.

use vndklite
basically it allows you to mess with system files after installing which fixes issues like encryption, not being able to access data in twrp etc etc

Oh, thank you!

I forgot my password

I forgot my password
is there any way to remove it? im on android 4.0.4 . I really dont want to delete everything
What password did you forget? The lockscreen's?
Do you have backups of any kind?
If you have backed up your data with titanium or an equivalent than you can just reflash the ROM.
If you want system data you can use the Aroma file manager or TWRP file manager if you have to pull that out.
sent from me
Thanks for the info but i decided to wipe everything
I guess im going to try a couple of roms to see which one I like

WOW. Giving a lot of thought before creating a post that you solved yourself by doing exactly the opposite of what you create the post for lends towards:

After some further research, I installed "7-29_GApps_Minimal_4.4.4_signed". It was the only GApps version I could get working.

Status 6 means the updater script was written/edited improperly. Did you attempt to modify it?
No. No mods. I am far from that knowledge. Lol

Weird. Where did you find the gapps package that was giving that error? Are you sure it was status 6?

This one is too big for your system partition. That would explain why only the Banks minimal gapps worked.
Well, duh, that explains it. (Directed at me).How did I not see that. I could smack myself. Thank you very much. The minimal works fine, so I guess there was never a need for the bigger package.

Go to the "Custom Bootsplash Screen" Thread from JazonX and download the ZIP file, now open it with 7-ZIP (or WinRAR, WinZip, ...) and change the Image with the Image. Please press Thanks, if it helped you!
I'm not providing the original Splash Screen, you should have a Backup!!!
PS: The Google Logo is at the end centred
PPS: Only tested on APG
did it you try it on the latest BH6 bootloader ?

I know that the boot splash address is tight to the bootloader. And new bootloader have tendancy to sometimes changes the adresses. Therefore the bootsplash is not always compatible with newer bootloaders.
So guys if anyone tried it on BH6, please share you knowledge

LineageOS errors

Hey guys been trying to build LineageOS for Sailfish and Marlin but Everytime I go to compile I get ninja errors I fixed the memory issue for compiling AOSP code from Google compiles fine but other ROMs won't anyone know what I can do I'll post the error in pastebin if needed
Hi I'm trying to do the exact same thing!
Have you noticed that when you execute the command "breakfast sailfish" it doesn't download any drivers, kernel, ecc... for the small pixel? only for the xl version (marlin) and if you take a look at ~/android/system/device/google/sailfish you will notice that there are only 3 files.

In the readme you can find:
Device configuration for Google Pixel (sailfish).
Nothing is really here, all configuration is in device/google/marlin.
