Pre-requisite :

I managed to get the CWM recovery of similar specs Chinese phone which is working flawlessly but it gives little graphics jerk during very first time
entering into recovery..but all the features works perfectly fine.If some developers can help me fix that will be great ..suggestion welcome

Basic GAPPS Flash Tutorial
1.After first boot reboot your phone to recovery again.
2.Select [install zip from sdcard] → [choose zip from sdcard]→ [XXX-GAPPS.zip] → [YES]
3. Wait flash finished, press Back and select reboot system now [], the phone going to automatically restart with installed GAPPS.
4.Set up your Google and Xiaomi Accounts(for themes).

some people asked me CWM flashing method ..so here are some of the instructions those who are not aware of the Fastboot
You can use Fastboot methoed to install the CWM recovery with following command
fastboot flash recovery your_recovery_image.img
But most important part is how to setup the fastboot working folder and fastboot detects your phone .
Follow the instructions :
1. Install the device drivers of Vollo Vx98 ( which you get when you connect your phone with stock rom in CD icon )
2. setup fastboot working folder , extract the files in some working folder .
3. Now Turned OFF phone and after that hold VOLUME – button and plug phone into computer while powering on phone .
4. Now Phone should be in fastboot mode with no sign on the phone ( does not display anything ).5. Lets assume you are in C:\fastboot (working folder).check your device whether it is connected to fastboot or not .execute this command
" Fastboot devices " . you should see serial number of the device " MSMSKUD" .. If it says " Waiting for devices " then Your fastboot is not setup properly .
6 .Put the recovery file in the C:\fastboot folder .
7 . execute the command " fastboot flash recovery your_recovery_image.img."
8. Reboot into recovery .. There is some initial graphics problem in this recovery during load once loaded everything works fine .
How to enter into recovery : Press Power On +Volume up key ( Indication - phone vibrates when enters )
How to enter into Fastboot : Press Power on + Volume Down key ( Indication - phone vibrates when enters )

Many thanks for manual. I maked one another package for my sister with polish language. Now only testing phase hope that phone functions will work fine now, because orginal vollo rom is realy bad.

I found one bug - after some time, the phone stopped ringing on incoming calls. It only vibrates. No settings seems to change this.
Also, I forgot to backup the old ROM, so if someone has original rom for this phone I'll be thankful if they share with me.

One-Time Boot
Enable ADB debugging (in Developer Options)
Reboot into bootloader / fastboot mode (adb reboot-bootloader)
Boot into recovery.img (fastboot boot recovery.img)
Done!
How To Flash
Install ADB+Fastboot with drivers (I recommend this installer)
Enable ADB debugging on your phone (in Settings->Developer Options)
After connecting the phone to the PC, pop up may appear, tick Always allow from this computer and click OK
Extract downloaded recovery zip and copy .img file to C:/adb
Now open cmd line (press Start+R, type "cmd", press OK) and go to C:/adb (type "cd C:/adb" and hit Enter)
Reboot into bootloader (fastboot mode) (type "adb reboot-bootloader")
Your phone should now reboot into the bootloader (Little green android logo in the middle of the screen)
Flash the recovery.img (type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img")
(*) Now boot into the recovery (type "fastboot boot recovery.img")
(*) Mount /system partition (In TWRP go to Mounts and tick System)
(*) In TWRP open File Manager, go to /system and rename recovery-from-boot.p to recovery-from-boot.p.bak
Finally, reboot!
Done!
* You should do these steps only if you have Lollipop firmware (to prevent from TWRP being overwritten by stock recovery on each boot)​

Yes, for now. There is still no way of unlocking the bootloader.

On K920 CN version I can't backup some addtional partitions
ROM: ROM VibeUI_2.5_1526_5.574.1_ST_K920
TWRP: K920_TWRP_2.8.6.1_LP
I can mount: System, Persist, Cache, Data, Modem & OTG
but NO NvRam! The Preload is available, but not checkable
I can backup: Aboot, Boot, Recovery, System, Persist,
No modem neither nvram

Uploaded 2.8.7.0

Lolipop 5.0.2 here. Rooted Z2 Pro, unlocked boot loader but still do not understand how to install twrp. No clear procedure ......

Have you read the first post incl the instruction "How to flash"?

I know it's not that straightforward. You have to have adb and fastboot installed somewhere, then copy the .img file there and execute those commands in cmd line from that location.
One thing I forgot to mention is that you have to delete recovery-from-boot.p file (i think it's in /system) before booting into android, otherwise your custom recovery will get replaced with the stock one.
I'll try to rewrite the guide tomorrow.

Confirm problem
I have the Chinese version of K920.
Everything was ok until confirming the system/recovery.from.boot.p file rename.
I can not confirm. I should swipe to confirm, but it do not work. And when I unfortunately touched the power button, the whole operation was locked. Now I have a kind of an Icon in the lower left part of the screen parly hidden. It is a padlock and a text saying "...t to Unlock".
How to solve this?

Unfortunately, switching between UIs is feature of stock recovery so clicking on that button in Settings won't do anything. I made a simple script for this -HERE-, just flash it in TWRP (and tell me if it works for you).

Installed script. After reboot device turns to pure Android. In order to change to Lenovo UI, you have to run script again !!!

Well, that's the purpose of the script. I can't really make that button in Settings work with custom recovery.
If you want to switch UI, you'll have to flash that .zip each time. It is not that hard.

Something's wrong with "3. Boot into recovery.img (fastboot boot recovery.img)" (One-Time boot).

i have a problem with 271 upgrade. Now after wiping cache when android boot and appear "starting app x of y" it takes little times and numbers runs quickly. When finishes booting appear an error "storage space is running out" or somthing like that. With 246 never appened. I have to format again to solve this problem. Why is this happening now?

Before you*proceed to*root Galaxy*C701F…
Please check these prerequisites before going forward to the root steps.
1.Download*and install USB drivers for Samsung on your computer
2.Go to*Settings*>*About Phone*>*Software info*and*tap for about five times to enable*Developer options.*You will get a “You are now a developer” message.Go back to*Settings*and now you will see a new*Developer Options*menu.*Tap on it and scroll down to find*OEM Unlock; enable it.Also, enable USB debugging*option from*Developer Options*>*USB Debugging.
3.Ensure that your phone carries more than 70% of charge. And all your internal files will be wiped
STEP 1
1. Download magisk and force encryption remover in to sdcard plz don't let me explain about magsik it's what that give u root access and its the best one right now .Period.And I love magisk very much thank you for ad free YouTube and black theme .

4.Open Odin on your computer. Connect your phone to your computer while your phone is in the Download Mode.If your phone is connected successfully, one of the ID:COM boxes will turn yellow with the COM port number. This step might take some time.
5.Click on ‘PDA’ / ‘AP’ and select the TWRP package file you downloaded in Step 1 for your phone.
THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT STEPS
6. In ODIN, uncheck the Auto Reboot and check F. Reset Time options, if not already.

7.Now click on the Start button in Odin. Installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.
8.When odin shows PASS u can remove cable and press Volume down + Power key to force reboot until u see black screen (If it boots then twrp will be gone u need to start the whole process again )Once it does, you need to let go of the Volume Down button and hold the Volume Up button while still pressing the other listed buttons. This will boot the phone into Recovery mode and you should now see TWRP. You will see TWRP no excuses.
9.Now is the best part if anything goes wrong you are literally Fished and I mean it. The screen will be for making TWRP permanent do these steps or your phone won't boot P.S. you can fix any Samsung phone very simply so don't worry
Do these --Select Keep /system RO. Tap Wipe> Format Data and type “yes”.
All what I said is there in screen so do these things perfectly u just need to read everything properly
10. Now go back to the main menu in TWRP and select Reboot> Recovery . Select don't install TWRP app it's annoying I know u can disable it in settings option in twrp
11. After rebooting recovery flash force encryption remover that u downloaded and then after Tap the Install button in TWRP, navigate to the location where you copied the the no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip and select it. Swipe the installation confirmation slider when prompted
12.Now go back to the main menu in TWRP and select Reboot> Recovery
13.When the device reboots into TWRP, tap the Install option, navigate to the Magisk-v15.3.zip and install it. Or the latest magisk zip file
Magisk will now be installed on your device and it will be rooted the next time you boot it up. If not installed download magisk manager and install APK when you boot up to system
When the flashing is complete, tap Reboot> system.
Congratulations! Your new Samsung Galaxy C7PRO is now out of warranty… err… rooted. Open Magisk to verify if your phone has been properly rooted or not.​

There is no fix for that and btw this twrp is now useless try the new one 3.2.1 it's in xda search for it

Warning :
This will certainly delete all your files. Make a backup of what you consider important and do at your own risk.
Ok Now lets start to root your Samsung Galaxy M12 :
-- Unlock Bootloader​

Requirements
- PC
- Backup All Important Data
1. Go to settings > about phone > software information > tap build number seven times to unlock developer options
2. Now go back to settings and open developer options and turn on oem unlocking and usb debugging
3. Now turn off Your phone
4. Connect Your usb cable to pc and press both volume buttons and insert Your usb cable to phone instantly
5. You will get blue colour screen
6. long press volume up to unlock bootloader and press volume up ( yes )
Now your phone will be formatted, After that phone will turn on and do Setup. Make sure you connected to Wifi or you have mobile data.
Now :
1. Unlock/Enable Developer Options Again
2. Check is there's Grayed OEM Unlock Options
3. If No OEM Unlock Options in Developer Settings, Close settings app from Recent Apps, and wait 1-5 minutes,
4. Check Developer Settings again
5. If there's a "Grayed" OEM Unlock Options in Developer Settings.. Your bootloader is unlocked

4. Go to Options in ODIN Software and Make Sure Options turned on only "Auto Reboot" and "F Reset Time"
5. Open Odin Software in Your PC and Add M12Root.tar in AP Block and Your Phone will automatically Reboot
6. Open Magisk App and Do Additional Setup
7. Reboot and Now your phone is Rooted

This method is not working and is not transparent at all. Please guide us on how to patch the boot and vbmeta ourselves. As you cannot possibly create the patched boot and vbmeta for all the firmware builds nor you have mentioned which build this patched boot belongs to.
I have been trying to root M12 with the official magisk way but it is ending up in boot loops. Any ideas on how we can genuinely root this phone?

No Same problem with me too, I think we have to wait for some custom recovery and custom rom to be build for the M12, until than we can not do any thing, please do not try to force the root as it will be result in bricked device.

Requirements
- PC
- Odin Software
- Unlocked Bootloader
- Drivers of Samsung Phone
- Patched Boot Image ( TAR Format )
1. Download RootM12.tar
2. Now turn off Your phone, Connect Your usb cable to pc and press both volume buttons and insert Your usb cable to phone instantly
3. Now Press Volume Up ( Download Mode )
4. Go to Options in ODIN Software and Make Sure Options turned on only "Auto Reboot" and "F Reset Time"
5. Open Odin Software in Your PC and Add M12Root.tar in AP Block and Your Phone will automatically Reboot
6. Open Magisk App and Do Additional Setup
7. Reboot and Now your phone is Rooted

DOWNLOAD MODE
1. power off your samsung m11
2. press & hold both vol+ & vol- keys and insert USB driver
3. now you are in Download mode
INSTALLING RECOVERY
1. open odin flash tool
2. make sure you are in download mode and USB is connected
4. now you will see Added logs in log Tab
3. click on AP Tab and select TWRP-3.5.x.x_10-m11q-goldfish07.tar file
4. now click on start & wait for recovery to be flashed .
5. if recovery flashed correctly you see pass message
NOTE: when you see pass message suddenly press and hold vol- key and power
6. Congratulations you are in recovery now
ROOTING SAMSUNG M11 (Android 10)
1. now flash Magisk 20.4.zip
2. after flashing just reboot
3.now your device will boot successfully
4. Congratulations
[NOTE:]
can't mount data & internal storage is 0
1. click wipe in recovery
2 . click on format data type yes and hit return
3. check, you will able to mount data [internal storage]
vbmeta error
1. download vbmeta-goldfish07-Odin-AP.tar
2. flash through odin
3 and reboot to recovery

-Internal may shows 0mb (temp fix go to back up and click refresh sizes )

basically what i said:
* i was unable to reboot to system
* i could not enter custom recovery either; the touch screen did not work (the swipe buttom)
I did not try again; I reeinstalled the stock rom and used the magick patch to get root

Yes, it is correct solution!
1. Install a new (latest) firmware /at current moment it is SM-M115F_M115FXXU2BUD9_R(Android 11)_SEK_Factory Rom (5 File)_20210517/.
2. Go to download mode (screenshots in attachment), start Odin, uncheck "Auto Reboot in "Options" and in "AP" put patched file from attachment to this post (magisk_patched-23000_Av3SK.tar).
3. Press start.
4. After finish go to Recovery Mode and run "Wipe data/Factory Reset" and "Wipe cache partition"
5. Reboot.
6. Install Magisk-v23.0.
Enjoy!
N.B. Patched file in attachment work ONLY with firmware that specified above (SM-M115F_M115FXXU2BUD9_R)!!!

It's just based on Android 10

stuck on recovery loop not booting to system despite complete wipe

Tolong solisinya, saya sudan install twrp m11 sukses dengan benar, tapi tidak bisa masuk home screen, cuma tampilan android is not runing, itu bagai mana ??

I'm not dare to take risk. will it brick by deviice ? i am a noob .so i am so confused

You flashed it??

Yes, I successfully flashed it, but the result is that the phone doesn't work, I've formatted the data and wiped the cache

I downgraded my latest firmware to android 10 stock rom (which had bit security level 2 because i couldn't downgrade to versions with bit security less than 2) to make this work, then I was able to flash the recovery by flashing vbmeta first then tried flashing 3.4.x.x as well as 3.5.x.x twrp recovery... I had a problem with /data partition but it was solved by doing nand erase in odin when flashing stock rom... but anyways I don't know if the problem is with modded twrp or unofficial lineageos cause in both versions of twrp I get stuck in bootloop on the lineageos loading...
Hope this helps anyone who comes here like me...
