Xiaomi MI10 Upgrade / downgrade EU ROM - Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra Questions & Answers

Hello all,
I want upgrade my phone - currently i have MIUI EU 12.0.10 - Android 10QKQ1, but i want install Android 11. What steps should i do to upgrade and i'm correct?
1) go to https://mifirm.net/model/cas.ttt#eu and found EU Rom with Android 11
2) go to twrp
3) Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
4) Install new ROM from phone memory
Is this correct? If i would back this operation it looks the same? I download miui with android 10 version and install using twrp?
Thanks in advance.

Problem solved - i've installed new miui eu version using TWRP. Here are steps if someone need
1) GO TO TWRP
2) Format Data
3) Wipe System, data cache and dalvik - overall clean all
4) Click install and select file with last MIUI EU downloaded from mifirm.net - i copied this file to USB-C pendrive first.
DONE Device restarted with new system. I had to install about 7 minutes to first boot.

Please follow the procedure and you will be surprised
?????
Detail please
I just gotta break it down into the steps I get :
First step:
- go to TWRP and do factory reset
- Flash supersu zip file in the link
- Flash MIUI OS 5.1 and wipe dalvik&cache
- Reboot then check for root with installing root checker app
Second step:
- Go back to TWRP and do another factory reset
- flash TWRP for OS 5.1 zip file and wipe dalvik&cache
- reboot then install NDR Utils and run a test with this app.
Third step:
- unpack the IMG file of the TWRP for OS 7 in the link
Fourth step:
- wipe dalvik&cache then install the unpacked TWRP
- install OS 7 ROM then reboot
- From Google play install TWRP app then install the unpacked TWRP again from the app
- go to TWRP recovery using NDR Utils app
- be surprised
I got few questions, just to figure out where is the magic :
1. Which ROM version do we start from ?
2. What if we already got root? Skip to second step? I use MIUI8 6.12.22 MS and it already have root. And play store.
3. Why we have to flash the TWRP OS 5.1? I mean it already what we use.
4. What test to run with NDR Utils? It seems that it only works with TWRP XZDR recovery (I don't know what it is)
5. What is the OS 7 ROM we can flash? Is it the update version? And what for? To retain root? What if the update got no root? TWRP app need root to flash the IMG file, if the OS 7 ROM got no root then we're finished.
6. What if we just:
-Flash TWRP OS 7
-Flash OS 7 ROM with root
-Flash TWRP OS 7 again
-reboot, install TWRP app, flash the OS 7 IMG
Will it give the same result?

Is it valid for the stable (miui_POCOF1Global_V12.0.2.0.QEJMIXM_ce099a7067_10.0) ?
Is it necessary to install DFE?
Actually i'm on Lineage OS 17
DFE is not necessary when using modern TWRP Builds !!
It was needed back in 2019, not anymore guys.

Can´t Install Any Custom ROMs Please Help [BOOTLOOP]

Hello, so, my problem is same as title says.
I´ll try to write it as short as possible.
I tried to install Resurrection Remix, Lineage OS, Arrow OS, BootLeggers ( All are unofficial builds for my Redmi 6 ), but everytime I got the constant rebooting bootloop, so I need to go to TWRP and flash Official MIUI ROM
Here are my installation steps for Resurrection Remix ( Pretty same as In this Tutorial ) :
1. - I went to TWRP ( LR. Team TWRP 3.3.1 )
2. - It was showing Internal Storage (0MB), so I click on Wipe - Format Data - yes
3. - After that also Wipe - Advanced Wipe - I selected Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Cache, Data, Vendor
4. - I moved RR Flashable .zip file and Magisk v19.3 from my PC to phones Internal Storage (via USB Cable)
5. - I clicked on Install - RR-P-v7.0.2-20200111-cereus-Unofficial.zip - Add more zips - Magisk-v19.3.zip
6. - After that, I clicked on Wipe cache/dalvik, checked if I´ve got any errors and clicked on Reboot
7. - After that, phone started to restart around every 5 seconds until I went to TWRP and Installed Official MIUI ROM
BONUS. - Tried also on second try to flash MIUI Firmware before RR .zip file, but the results were same.
Also I don´t want Gapps in my phone so i didn´t flash them.
With other ROMs it was same, always bootloop. Here are all .zips, links to forums, tutorials that I followed.
So please message me what´s the issue, especially while installing Resurrection Remix, because this is the ROM that I would like to install the most.
I know it's too late for reply I'm just posting this so that others (like myself) can see this. Lets keep the community for this phone alive!
Install MIUI V10.4.4.0 (I found that this version works for me), Disable DM verity (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ncrypt-disk-quota-disabler-11-2-2020.3817389/) and finally wipe data and install your custom rom.
It will bootloop on the first boot so wait a few seconds then force reboot

[SOLVED] 4g Version (perseus) bootloop when trying to flash custom rom

Hi there,
after going through several threads, and trying for 5 days to get it to work I decided to open a new topic on my issue.
My goal is to flash PixelExperience for Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 [Perseus]. (I also tried [ROM] [11.0.0] [perseus] ArrowOS 11.0 [OFFICIAL] [NIGHTLIES] also with no luck) I think I am missing something since every time I try to flash it according to several descriptions (have stopped counting how often) I end up in a bootloop with the mi logo.
Here is what I do step by step in hopes that someone can show me where I am making a mistake / provide a working procedure:
A. Downloads (on my PC) and setup of PC
Magisk-v22.1.apk renamed to Magisk-v22.1.zip
miui_MIMIX3_V12.0.3.0.QEECNXM_b96755549d_10.0.zip from (here)
since Arrow and PE devs recommend this as a base for flashing their ROM´s. My Phone originally ran 12.0.2 EU. Flashing 12.0.3 works with no issues.
twrp-3.5.2_9-0-perseus.img which I flash
Custom Rom.zip (as described tried Arrow 11 and PE)
B. Step by step guide what I do:
1. Install Flash 12.0.3 Firmware, Enable Dev Mode, fastboot and flash twrp-3.5.2_9-0-perseus.img
2. Boot into TWRP
3. Wipe -> 1. Factory Reset -> 2. Format Data -> yes -> 3. Advanced Wipe (cache, system, vendor, data)
4. ADB-Sideload PixelExperience_perseus-11.0-20210408-0751-UNOFFICIAL.zip - also tried adb push to sd and then install - with same result
5. Wipe Format Data -> yes
6. ADB-Sideload Magisk-v22.1.zip
7. Bootloop - when I select reboot TWRP tells me no OS detected and it loops with the Mi logo.
I am sure I am missing something or messing something up (maybe in TWRP Wipes Step 3 or 5?) since either PE or Arrow work.
Any suggestion / help would be appreciated
Have a nice day

Project Treble Device goes into bootloop after any custom rom. Doogee N20

My doogee n20 goes into a bootloop after any android custom rom, like i tried phh treble, pixel experience and my device softbricked every time, Android 10,11 doesnt matter still bootloops, i am trying to update my android version but the phone has a-only partitions which restricts me from android 12 right now, i can root and/or twrp but custom treble roms are a no-no. Any help please? NOTE: no i dont want to get softbrick fixed, i have a sp flash tool backup and it works, i need a way how to install hopefully android 11 or 12, android 10 is ok too.
Project Treble has nothing to do with Android's partion-layout, what may be a A-only one or A/B one - with the latter there are two virtual hard drives that each contain a copy of Android.
Project Treble means Android is parted: part #1 what contains the lower-level code created by silicon vendors, and part #2 what contains main Android operating system framework. So device manufacturers can update the OS code without having to rely on silicon vendors to refresh the lower-level code for every release.
Phh treble work perfectly on my Doogee N20 and by the way it is A/B not A only. And, but one thing I needed to install vendor.img the first time I installed a Gsi.
Try this
1. Download GSI for Arm64 A / B and extract then.
2. Download firmware stock here
Firmware doogee n20 by 4pda
3. After downloading the Stock firmware extract the vendor.img
4. restarted in TWRP, go to clear, select Dalvik / ART cache, system, data and cache, drag flash bar
5. Go back, go to install, find the folder where the GSI is, select install with system image, go back and find the folder where vendor.img is and select install with vendor image
6. Reboot system
Sorry for bad English.
