Hi fam, I have a Note 20 Ultra that I only use to control my drone and -since I haven't used it for so long- I forgot my unlock pattern.
I'm using Samsung Find my Mobile to try unlock it, but I'm constantly encountering a "Something went wrong." error.
My phone is connected to cellular network and WiFi, Find my Mobile is able to track it to my house, make it ring, and I've restarted it several times.
Any ideas? Can I bypass this lock anyway? If not, is there a way to restore the phone to factory settings and set it up again?
Thanks

I don't know why, without reason, my 3G connection doesn't work anymore. It isn't the interop unlock, because i had already this problem before. I tried to use 3g repair.xap, network profile a lot of time and to set the apn, but i can't connect. What should I do?
Take it from me, do a back up and then soft reset you will spend less time doing it that way than trying to fix it; I speak from experience. Also how did you preform your interop unlock? On mine I use the HTC Connection Setup deal and it freak out for no reason and my 3G would be gone, this time after I did the unlock I simply uninstalled it, the unlock remains but I don't have to worry about my 3G anymore.
So, I bought a cheap "4k action camera" to play around with. It has wifi, and I was working on getting it connected to my phone .
While doing so, the wifi on my phone sort of.. hung. I couldnt switch to my usual wifi network, it was just sit and spin, eventually wifi stopped showing my networks altogether. If i open ip the wifi settings, the indicator just spins, i cant turn off wifi, and no networks are listed. After doing so, I cant even shut down my phone without holding the power button for 10 seconds.
I'm just trying to get this cleared up, anyone have any suggestions? I have my phone connected via ADB, but it's stock, no mods, no root. I've considered a factory reset, but I'd like to avoid that if I can.
Thanks!
Well. After a few hours of fighting with this, I ended up unlocking (which of course wiped my phone). This way I'm free to root or flash in the future without that being a barrier again. The wipe, of course, resolved my problem.
I'm trying to decide if I want to jump straight to a custom ROM now or not, before I get too deep into getting my phone set back up. Any suggestions?

Hey everyone!
Hopefully you can help me with a little problem:
My Huawei P9 fell. Now, no device can connect to its hotspot - two laptops and a phone say "Connection not possible", another phone falsely claimed "Invalid password entered" (and when i removed the password from the hotspot the error message switched to "Connection not possible" as well). The day before the fall hotspots were working just fine.
Also, each time I restarted the phone some settings were mysteriously reset. First I see a pop-up message reading "Some applications require data connection. We recommend hiring a data plan." - even though my provider is being recognized and I have working mobile data. Then, after every restart the 24-h-clock format, the percentage display of the battery, the auto-rotate and a lock-screen setting are reset to default. One time, I changed the SSID of the hotspot and after the reset it was just changed back to default.
After I took out the SIM, I tested if the settings reset happens without SIM. It did not. After that it did not occur again with inserted SIM card, neither. However, the "You should get a data plan" pop-up still happens and the hotspot still doesn't work.
How can I fix this problem, or more specifically, make the hotspot work again? I have tried a bit with different APNs, but to no avail. I also did a network setting reset.
I am not even sure if the issue has to do with software or hardware.
Any help is very much appreciated, thank you!
Kind regards

Okay so the other day my phone just stopped connecting to my wifi. This is an open network that you have to have an account to gain internet access after you connect. I have no access to the settings on the network side. It gives me the above reason nothing else. I know the the problem is on the phone side because i have numerous other devices connected. Also my phone ( LG X charge {SP-320} 7.1.1 stock no-root) connects to every other network with no problems. Ive done factory resets. Ive done network settings resets. Ive done resets via dialer codes, via pwr+voldown. Ive gone into the settings in my account fir the wifi to which i could not find even something alike to enable/disable, blacklist etc etc. One time i got the network to connect for about an hour by using the dialer code to enter the hidden menu and entering the SSID into the "enablenetwork" section which has not worked sense. Theres a "disablenetwork" also whoch i tried to disable then enable, nothong not even a toast notification. No matter what i do in the wifi section of hidden menu the app stops and has to restart. Ive read a few post about trying to connect with airplane mode on, useless lol, no effect. My favorite part lf all this is i can enable one of my other devices as a "repeater" and connect to the network through the second phone. Thank you all in advance for any and all help.
As of yesterday, I too, am having the exact same issue with my LG X Charge!! Never had this happen before. Totally stumped. . HELP!!!
Hi everyone.
I hope someone can help me please. I have an old Moto G3 phone I want to give to someone so I’ve uninstalled everything personal off the phone and then done a factory reset.
Now for some reason I cannot get it back on to my home wifi to finish setting up the phone. Initially, I selected my network and then input the password but all it returned was ‘Authentication Problem’. It then stopped even being able to find my SSID on the available networks but eventually it showed up again but still doesn’t connect. I originally bought the phone second hand from ebay a few years ago and it had been factory reset by the seller. It isn’t rooted or locked to a network. I’ve never had an issue connecting it to my network before tonight.
However, the phone has been turned off in a drawer for several months. About 7 weeks ago I had to install a new Virgin Media Hub-3 modem as the previous modem was dying of old age so tonight was my first time attempting to connect this phone to the new modem. I normally have 11 different devices connected to my wifi at any one time and all of them work perfectly.
I’ve tried absolutely everything I can think of. My other devices all see and are connected to the network completely fine. I’m literally sitting within 2 feet of the modem and it’s showing a very strong signal.
I have tried the WPS button, WPS Pin, rebooting the phone, rebooting the modem, resetting the network settings, rerunning the factory reset, making sure the modem is set to broadcast the network name, inputting the SSID and password manually. I even tried disabling the modem firewall in case that was blocking the phone and I must have manually typed in the wifi password over a dozen times which I keep noted down and I know is correct. Basically I’ve run out of ideas. As the phone isn’t locked I also tried my the sim from my current phone to test it. Although it can make calls no problem, I still can’t get on to my home wifi.
I’ve tried turning off the wifi and shutting down a couple of my other devices and then turning them back on and they reconnected to the wifi straight away without a problem. I can’t believe the problem is with the modem as it’s only 7 weeks old and everything else is working perfectly on it.
I’ve also tried googling the problem but still no luck so far.
The phone is on Android 6.0.1, it’s a Motorola Moto G3 with a 16GB microSD card but has no sim card installed.
