Hi all, I bought a sony xperia l C2104 the last month in Chile, the phone is locked by the carrier and I used all tries for Sim Lock Code way ( Using IMEI ) so, my question is:
¿Any way to restart the counter?
¿Any way to unlock the phone?
¿Which is the way?
Considering Bootloader unlock allowed is no.
Thanks.
EDIT: The company of the carrier is Entel Chile.
If Bootloadee unlock is not allowed you cant unlock BL, thats all what i know

If your phone is simlocked due to company lock
1) Unlock Bootloader to unlock simlock
2) Change Motherboard
Hi guys I have SIM locked sony xperia e with locked bootloader. and in service menu it says it cannot be officially unlocked.
I want to unlock the mobile so that I can use any network sim on it. I have tried flashtools but it says that the bootloader is locker and canot be unlocked.
Please tell me how can I unlock the mobile ? If I use custom kernel then can I install custom rom on locked bootloader ?
Thanks

Bump.
I've got an Xperia E that is sim locked and I need to unlock it. Can't unlock the bootloader though.
Not really familiar with Sony phone either as I usually stick with Sammy and HTC and just need a backup phone.
Thanks,
Hi,
My sister-in-law has Sony Xperia L, and she has recently changed carrier. I wanted to flash her phone with a custum rom with unlocked sim status. But I have a problem with unlocking the bootloader. Bootloader status: Unlock not allowed. Is there any way to unlock it, or flash a custum rom without unlocked bootloader?
thanks,
d
Bro, believe me I am in the same situation, there no way... I just gave up... Unless.. Where are you from?

Hello. As I wrote in the title my M2 Aqua is on locked bootloader non unlockable , it is Vodafone carrier branded. Can I unlock my bootloader? Has someone found any method? Except that one that requires Sim unlocking my phone, because I have and use only Vodafone, it is useless to pay for unlock because I don't want to use my phone in other carrier than Vodafone. Thanks in advance.

Even if you unlocked it to any network the bootloader would still be unlockable nothing you can do, if you want unlocked bootloader buy sim free device.

Hi,
Did anyone buy this phone from vodafone ro. They do not have the phone on the test benches and I cannot test if the bootloader is unlockable. I asked and again they won't let me play with the phone before buying it. I played with the xperia x in theirs shop and on this phone the bootloader status says unlockable: no. For me a phone on which I cannot unlock the bootloader is a phone which I can through out of the window... Thanks

If you want to be able to root it and unlock the Bootloader you must buy a sim free network unlocked device(like what you would get from the Sony store) the only network I know of that supply these types of device's is three UK as I use them myself all of there devices have unlockable Bootloaders whether payg or contract. Locked Bootloader root on the xa or all other new Xperias since z3+ will probably never happen, there's currently also no way to back up ta keys on the xa either which is why I'm still currently stock. It's a great device though I'm highly impressed with it

I bought three years ago a xperia l from vodafone ro and the bootloader was unlockable, but that was 3 years ago. I'll probably buy it from a store somewhere, not from vodafone, if I cannot test it. Thanks
