Hello guys
I have Xperia J witch is SIM locked and network branded.
In my Bootloader unlock allowed says NO, so is it possible at this time to unlock bootloader some way on there is still no solution for this?
I know this phone is new and development is in early stages and there is no much information on the web.
Is it still possible to ROOT and flash custom recovery if bootloader is locked?

You can try to root it first. There are no CWM or custom Rom for J at this moment.

Hi all, I bought a sony xperia l C2104 the last month in Chile, the phone is locked by the carrier and I used all tries for Sim Lock Code way ( Using IMEI ) so, my question is:
¿Any way to restart the counter?
¿Any way to unlock the phone?
¿Which is the way?
Considering Bootloader unlock allowed is no.

EDIT: The company of the carrier is Entel Chile.
If Bootloadee unlock is not allowed you cant unlock BL, thats all what i know

If your phone is simlocked due to company lock
1) Unlock Bootloader to unlock simlock
2) Change Motherboard
Hello my father just gave me sony xperia m2 single sim card phone as present but its locked to vodafone Spain network.My question is do you guys know any goos web site that can provide me with unlock code and if i unlock the bootloader will i get the sim unlock as well ?

As far as I know, you can contact mobile operator vendor that phone "belongs to" and they can give you unlock code.

Edit. PEOPLE STILL PM ME AFTER 3+ YEARS ABOUT THIS. I can't unlock any device, I just contacted the OP because VodafoneES was offering free Sim Unlocks at the time, just that. If it's a different device/carrier combo, I can't help you, else, feel free to PM me.

I have no idea if u can lock it again,but my gues will be no.I unlocked it using a bulgarian service.Google sony xperia m2 sim unlock and you will find plenty of websites

Didn't think they could charge you if you ask the network for a pac code to unlock it to all networks. Thought it was just third party websites that charged. Is not expensive on the Web about 3 or 4 quid if you shop about online.

You need a pac code from the network it was on(usually free) or you'll need to buy one off eBay/amazon or pay a mobile phone shop that offers the service to unlock it to any network

My sister-in-law has Sony Xperia L, and she has recently changed carrier. I wanted to flash her phone with a custum rom with unlocked sim status. But I have a problem with unlocking the bootloader. Bootloader status: Unlock not allowed. Is there any way to unlock it, or flash a custum rom without unlocked bootloader?

Hello. As I wrote in the title my M2 Aqua is on locked bootloader non unlockable , it is Vodafone carrier branded. Can I unlock my bootloader? Has someone found any method? Except that one that requires Sim unlocking my phone, because I have and use only Vodafone, it is useless to pay for unlock because I don't want to use my phone in other carrier than Vodafone. Even if you unlocked it to any network the bootloader would still be unlockable nothing you can do, if you want unlocked bootloader buy sim free device.
