Sprint Touch Pro2 version of PIE doesn't work with Citrix

I don't know what HTC did with Pocket Internet Explorer, but I've noticed that PIE looks a little different, and most importantly (for me) it is not launching Citrix when I need it.
Typically, I can go to my company's MyApps page and launch Lotus Notes or any of several other applications - at least that's what I did with my Mogul, my Diamond and my original Touch Pro...
Now, I tap on any of the icons, and nothing...
Any ideas, workarounds? What the heck did HTC do?
FYI, I have installed the latest version of Citrix (10.06) and that didn't help. I use PIE because the MyApps page never did display correctly in Opera or any other browser I've tried...

Something I just discovered in the registry that I didn't know - this IS version 6 of Internet Explorer on the device!
I knew something was different! Still doesn't explain why I can't access Citrix correctly, or (separately) why I can't get PIE out of Desktop view. Can't get mobile view to display to save my life, and I've cleared the cache, refreshed, soft-reset, you name it!

I had no idea Citrix was available for a mobile client! Did you get this to work? Where did you get the Citrix program for it?

Oh yes, Citrix works great on WM devices!
And I resolved this issue. I found a CAB for the "older" version of PIE that came on the Touch Pro and installed it. That replaced the IE6 version that HTC installed on the TP2. Now Citrix opens up just fine. Here is a shot of me accessing Lotus Notes at work!

ARM not ARM4I, correct? Mine is coming today so I can't check and I am trying to get everything downloaded ahead of time. Can't wait as you can tell.

I installed it and now my PIE crashes every time I launch it. Any suggestions? Other than uninstalling which puts PIE back.

Wow, that's weird that PIE crashes. Did you install to main memory or storage card? I installed to main memory, just to be sure...

MultiMatt: - did you have the crash issue prior to the PIE you installed? Which Cytrix version did you install ARM or ARM41? Mine arrives Monday.

Had no crash issues before or after the "old PIE" install. The Old PIE works great for me - I'm on Citrix almost daily, accessing work apps!
Installed the ARM version, not the ARM41 version...

Google Buzz Widget (.apk)

For some reason the Google Buzz Widget is not in my market. Not sure if its country-related, the fact that I use a Google Apps account or staggered release...
Could someone post the .apk please?

Thanks for the update, but getting force closes on Froyo. In Afghanistan right now, so market access is out of the question for most good apps.

Hmm probably because I got mine off the 2.1 market. I can post a 2.2 when a rom comes out, otherwise I have no access to 2.2 apps.

I will be working on a 2.2 port for buzz along with another app I am editing, (Dolphin Youtube Downloader), while I wait for 2.2.

need buzz for Android 2.2

Works for me on my Xperia Z2. It's not a 64bit phone!!

Why did Google not make it a full sms client. Doing that would that make it the ewuivalent of imessage which we desperately need

I've seen something about Allo not encrypted unless you press the incognito mode. Not sure if it true or not though.

Also ALLO stores every conversation, no matter if you delete it.No thanks ,I d rather use WhatsApp.

I don't think it will ever replace Wapp / Messenger.

Make it the default Sms app on all new android phones. Encryption is obvious. There you go. Win for Google. This chat style **** doesn't fly in the US and will never catch on.

This is literally the only reason I don't use the app. Even if certain features were disabled when using this as a normal SMS app I'd be using it over the Google Messenger app.

Anyone know how I can move the Allo received content from internal storage to my external sd card? I'm sure I've read that before somewhere years ago? like a shortcut from the internal storage to the external card?
(I hope this makes sense when being read... it does in my head)

you can use a galaxy watch with other android phones , you can also use that watch with samsung pay , has anyone succesfully set up samsung pay with a mate 30 pro via their galaxy watch and used it to pay in store via nfc?
it could be a nice little work around especially if you use a galaxy watch already

Yes it works perfectly I've used it with MST on my gear S3 and NFC on my active 2

Does the Samsung Pay function on Samsung Galaxy Watch work when paired with Huawei P40 Pro handset? I have not been able to get Samsung Pay even appear. Previously with P20 Pro, it worked and payments got through. Please see the screenshot of the error I get when I try to install the Watch Plug-in APK by brute force - any way to overcome it?

You can still download them with AuroraStore which enables you to connect with your Google account. :good:

Really? You mean that with Aurora i can download my purchased app and to have them licensed just like on google store? For example i can download my Nova license key with no problem?
And if i want to buy a new app? I can buy it on Aurora and then use the app also from google store on my second phone? In this case the google store will see that app like purchased?

I have recently bought a galaxy watch 4 (bluetooth version) and my phone is Samsung S8. My friend is able to install apps like messages for wear os and nike run club from the google play store in the watch (Below images with the watch). However I cannot find those apps in my watch play store, I have those apps in my phone but they are not showing up after I sync the phone with the watch either.
I tried to install them from google play website then I found out it says those apps are not compatible with my watch. Any ideas how I can install them on the watch please? Thanks a lot!

Probably because the Galaxy Watch 4 is the only Wear OS 3 device and a lot of apps are not compatible probably. Hopefully a future update will sort this out.

It's up to the app developers of said apps to "sort it out" nothing to do with the OS

I have the same issue. Had "messages for wear os" on my watch 4. Was working really fine. The I changed the watch (other colour). So on the new watch the app doesn't show in playstore or in "apps on smartphone".
Is there a workaround? With that app I could send WhatsApp messages at any time.
Edit: I sideloaded the app and it works good. Install wear installer and follow the guide (to start adb over wifi). Download messages for wear os on your phone. Then you can choose the app at the wear installer to install it on the watch. Done
