Works for me on my Xperia Z2. It's not a 64bit phone!!

Why did Google not make it a full sms client. Doing that would that make it the ewuivalent of imessage which we desperately need

i have downloaded properly version for my phone from apk mirror so far so good

I've seen something about Allo not encrypted unless you press the incognito mode. Not sure if it true or not though.

Also ALLO stores every conversation, no matter if you delete it.No thanks ,I d rather use WhatsApp.

I don't think it will ever replace Wapp / Messenger.

Make it the default Sms app on all new android phones. Encryption is obvious. There you go. Win for Google. This chat style **** doesn't fly in the US and will never catch on.

Anyone know how to get a new unread message count badge?

This is literally the only reason I don't use the app. Even if certain features were disabled when using this as a normal SMS app I'd be using it over the Google Messenger app.

Anyone know how I can move the Allo received content from internal storage to my external sd card? I'm sure I've read that before somewhere years ago? like a shortcut from the internal storage to the external card?
(I hope this makes sense when being read... it does in my head)

Gecko Dialer - Popout Dialpad

Gecko Dialer puts your dialer at the top of your screen.
With Gecko Dialer, you can place a call, while reading the phone number in another app.
Kudos to the guys from Tooleap for their SDK that I used for creating the floating dialer window:
www.tooleap.com
Use Gecko Dialer to see your recent calls, or use T9 search to browse through your contact list.
Download Gecko Dialer Here:

looks nice, but perhaps you should make it to look more HOLO like (like using white/grey/blue?) how it was on the official dialer.
Instead of a Popup icon, it would be better implemented like a sidebar
Agreed, a sidebar option would kick ass.
Good concept, and agree with the suggestions above. The amount of Gingerbread in this app hurts my eyes.
It's awesome. So convenient. It's simple and does perfectly what is required.

If you could add an option to say the numbers out loud it would be awesome.
Imagine that you ask a friend of yours some girl's number.. the guy has to say it out loud and the app would recognize the numbers automatically
Hello, very nice idea. May I suggest a changeable size, in order to read better a number from other current apps?

Great app but could add transparent option to the bubble?
Thanks again.

I installed this expecting to be able to use it like the one-handed samsung dialer. Unfortunately, it only sticks to the left side of the screen and forces me to reach over all the way to the other side to dail with my thumb. Please put in an option to specify a side or make it more obvious if that feature exists already - I can't seem to drag it over either.
What i really wanted was a true floating/popup dialer where the actual dial pad could be moved around over my note that has the numbers. This is not as useful since when the dialer is invoked it still covers up most of the screen.
nice 1 bro

In my case the second row in the keyboard (with symobls) doesn't work. I'm using german language. Call recording works like a charme.
All code are gone
Could you sent me a new to test the application ?

If the device is rooted you can edit the file system/csc/aryamod.xml or similar and add the extra features such as:
Cscfeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary
Cscfeature_VoiceCall_ConfigRecording
In my case my device is not rooted so I can't use the app. But I have a Note 3 too with root and I have this features.

Problem with text messages on s7

Hello everyone, my friend got a s7 g935p from eBay not knowing that it was American version but everything works fine apart from text messages.
For some reason it sends the messages in parts. Like part 1 half a message and part 2 rest of the message
Is there any way I can stop it doing that so that it just sends 1 full message .
Thanks
Kev

Remove SMS limit warning (outgoing) on Nougat?

Hello, I often need to send text messages to a group of people.
There, i always get the warning "Messenging app is sending a large number of messages".
Although i press allow, not all members of the group receive the message, thats really annoying.
I already researched the net, but non of the apps or tutorials worked. (maybe outdated).
Therefore does anyone know how to remove or set the limit to a higher number.
btw. im on Nougat (lineage14.1)
thx for reply.
I tried to reproduce this warining, therefore I used SMS Bomber. Heres the screenshot:

That's an effect of the app. Are there any settings in the app to turn the warning off? Also, if you're using that app to send to everyone then it's something about the app that is causing some of them to not get your message.
